Safe Schools Czar Sez: "Killing someone who calls you a faggot is not aberrant behavior."
Posted by Gregory of Yardale at October 12, 2009 5:43 AM
According to the gay activist whackadoodle Chairman Zero appointed "Safe Schools Czar" Kevin Jennings, not only is it okay for creepy old gay dudes to pick up middle-school-aged boys in public restrooms, it's also not unusual to kill those who call you names.
Killing someone who calls you a faggot is not aberrant behavior but merely the most extreme expression of a belief that is beaten (sometimes literally) into boys at an early age in this country: Be a man – don’t be a faggot.
As Suzanne Pharr so eloquently explained in her landmark work Homophobia: A Weapon of Sexism, antigay bigotry is inextricably intertwined with the maintenance of “proper” gender roles by which little girls are supposed to be “sugar and spice and everything nice” and boys are supposed to be, well, quite the opposite. When boys take up guns to kill those who torment them with words like “faggot,” we shouldn’t be surprised. They’re just doing what we have taught them to do.
Is it just me, or does promoting the normalcy of killing people who tease you seem to run contrary to the mission of "Safe Schools Czar?" The way he probably meant this is that society conditions boys to kill those who affront their masculine self-identity. As such, Jennings is supporting the feminist idea that masculinity is itself a problem, that boys have to be emasculated for the good of society. (Margaret Jamison nods approvingly.) In other words, the "Safe Schools Czar" supports what Christina Hoff Sommers calls "The War on Boys," the systematic effort of the public schools to stigmatize masculine behavior.
The feminists running the school system don't get that ragging on one another is normal boy behavior, even among the best of friends. (It's girls that use teasing as a form of bullying.) Physical or verbal bullying is out of bounds in a school environment, of course. But Jennings seems to think that killing one's antagonist is the normal masculine response.
Why the heck do we need a Presidential "Safe Schools Czar" anyway? Isn't school safety a local issue? Does this position exist for any reason other than for Chairman Zero to expand Federal Control and, oh, by the way, throw a bone to his gay left base by appointing a radical gay activist to a prominent position where he can help indoctrinate schoolchildren?

BTW: For some reason, when I read this article, I couldn't help thinking of a really old SCTV sketch.
Comments
Glenn Beck needs to jump on this guy like he did to Van Jones. If its ok to beat up or kill boys that call a kid faggot, then it should be ok to beat up or kill those who tell those kids that it is ok to kill for something so little. I hope that no one sees this guy out one night and decides to use the same line of thought on this guy that he wants used on those who call names.

Isn't this the same problem in places like Chicago? Kid's getting killed because some one didn't like the way they looked at them?

All the men in my extended family, including the 'faggots' and 'non-faggots' are taught that a "man" does not hurt others willfully. Actually our job in life is to protect.
Calling someone a name in a taunting manner might get one a bloody nose if it goes into bullying, but the idea of killing over name calling is and always has been out of bounds.
Where do these mental midget females get such ideas? They must all come from abusive homes where daddy is a drunken a-hole, or worse yet - they live in Hollywood.

It's the next evolutionary step in the Fighting Words Doctrine.

Yes Mr. Back, please take on this disgusting sub-human creature...

"Why the heck do we need a Presidential "Safe Schools Czar" anyway? Isn't school safety a local issue?"
There is a short, simple answer: unless there is government oversight into such things, we could end up with... exactly what is happening in places like Kansas and Texas. If schools aren't allowed to teach science in science class, we all suffer. Same goes for civil rights. It affects everyone. All Americans.
We have to live here too. You can be gay-bashing neanderthals at home if you are of a mind to be such, but public schools must be protectd from creepy people trying to legislate archaic religious morality. And trying to couch the debate as condoning killing (or whatever this was trying to be) is just smoke and mirrors... the real issue is the continued effort by the religious right to make anyone who supports gay rights look bad.
It ain't gonna work.... know why? Because Obama knows that plan, and appointed someone to be in charge. To prevent exactly this sort of 'local issue' crap from making some places in america deliberately less conducive to civil rights than others.
Are you really so eager to go back to that? Historically that caused things like the Civil War, when "states' rights" gets used as smokescreen for un-american sentiments. And make no mistake - failure to protect the gay community from deliberate persecution is damned un-american.
Try again, dancing monkeys...

Let me guess snot....you got picked on alot in school right?

Snot's just another arrogant fascist who finds it abhorrent that localities might be allowed to govern themselves.
Posted by: V the K at October 12, 2009 9:22 AM
V we also know from experience that kids never call eachother names like fag, butthole, etc. Poor little snot must have been called some real doozies to become such a proponent of controlling every little thing that a child does. Poor little snot.

Farmer Ted, I think it's safe to say the average 11 year old has more self-respect and intestinal fortitude than our sniveling little leftist, snot.

If we can't stop this nonsense at the next election, I swear I'm going to vote for the Talaban.

No need – the faggots - term chosen advisedly - are doing a great job of that already.

I remember reading in time magazine now that I think about it, that one Evan Todd was quoted as calling the two columbine killers homos. I guess with this, it is now justified that they went berserk. What sick logic.

I guess the safe school czar should tell that to the parents who lost children during that massacare. At least he'd be consistent if he did.

Chuck points out that, "......a "man" does not hurt others willfully. Actually our job in life is to protect."
Chuck continues with, "Calling someone a name in a taunting manner might get one a bloody nose if it goes into bullying, but the idea of killing over name calling is and always has been out of bounds."
Absolutely right, chuck. I worry about what our culture is doing to our sons and daughters. We need to instill the moral values and courage to stand up against this onslaught of this Moonbat nonsense.
Part of this is also having the courage to openly ridicule this sort of stupidity. "Tolerance" is one of the lowest forms of contempt there is.
This whole thing is just a natural outgrowth of the Leftist culture of "victimhood", and the "acting out" that is an intgral part of the Leftist agenda, particularly the Homoleftist agenda.

Szot, if you want to live a sinful, disease ridden lifestyle, then that is your choice as an American. Enjoy being a faggot.

Funny how standing up for homosexual dignity was in fashion, right up to the moment that it was suggested Larry Craig might have been trolling airport bathrooms for a gay tryst.
Suddenly it was, "Hey, we got us a homo on our hands! Someone get a rope!"
Moonbat hypocrites.
