A woman applying for a job in a Florida lemon grove seemed to be far too qualified for the job.
The foreman frowned and said, "I have to ask you this; "Have you had any actual experience in picking lemons?"
"Well, as a matter of fact, I have!" she replied.
"I've been divorced three times, owned 2 Plymouths, and I voted for Obama."

Mother Teresa wasn't as great as many people think.
She believed that suffering and witnessing suffering brought people closer to Jesus. The goal of her hospices for the dying was not to comfort people or help them make peace with death; it was so she could enjoy watching people suffer.
Just sayin', it's a bit creepy.

Please pay close attention to the names on this list.
Remember them at their next election.
This is truly astounding, completely verifiable, and demonstrates exactly why we need to stop using profit as the sole motiavator in our collective healthcare.
Senator Franken proposed an amendment to give protection for Federal contractor employees. The amendment makes it mandatory that Federal contractor employees, who are victims_ of egregious_ crimes_ have the right to a day in court.
Here's a list of the Senators who showed broad support for the rapist to hide their crimes in arbitration due to a non-disclosure clause.

Because of all the nasty "anti-Communist" comments here, all of you will be reported to The People's Department for Hope and Change.
Your health benefits are scheduled for review:
You will be denied because YOU are unpatriotic:
YOU don't act like GOOD CITIZENS do.
Expect to be denied!
Your Granny will not get the new hip, and your kids will not get the inoculations against the H1N1 Mutant Variant soon to be released.

This is how we control the population.

Passerby, what was the s/n you used last week? Just curious. And, by the way, which court would have jurisdiction, outside the US? I mean, can the DoJ just decide that, say, Japan, doesn't have jurisdiction over crimes that happen in Japan? How about Iraq? Last I heard, Iraq is a sovereign nation too. Germany? Turkey? South Korea? Can Eric Holder just waltz in and tell them he's taking over jurisdiction over non-military Americans, and if they don't like it, tough shit? Seriously?
Al Franken, you can't do better than Al Freakin' Franken?

When Oprah Meets Sarah
Put it on your calendar: Former Alaska Governor and last year’s Republican candidate for Vice President Sarah Palin will guest on “Oprah” next month.
The billionaire Queen Guru of Afternoon Television, Oprah Winfrey, who shucked her non-partisan guise by enthusiastically endorsing Barack Obama for president, has invited Palin to appear on her November 15th show.
The following day, Palin’s memoir, Going Rogue: An American Life, will hit the bookstores although it reached the top of the charts on Amazon and Barnes and Noble just hours after HarperCollins announced its publication date.
Already atop best-sellers lists, beating out the late Ted Kennedy’s True Compass and Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol, the first printing will be a whopping 1.5 million copies, according to the publisher.
(A FYI for Good Morning America’s Chris Cuomo, the second word in the book’s title is “Rogue” as in a scamp and not “Rouge” as in Moulin and painted women.)
Both Oprah’s and Sarah’s fan clubs were bothered by the decisions to invite and accept.
Oprah’s cheerleaders bemoaned her giving the enemy publicity, with one complaining, ”I can’t believe you are having this woman on your show. Where is your loyalty to the Pres?” I assume that fan meant that allowing Palin some airtime some reflected disloyalty toward our transparent president.
For their part, some Sarah-supporters were no less temperate. They felt she was taking a risk by entering the belly of the beast or, as one warned, “Don’t do it Sarah. You’ll be going into enemy territory:” http://bit.ly/3vyMTz
It’s actually a good move for both parties. Oprah will goose her ratings, at least for the day, and Sarah will probably double the sales of Going Rogue.
Letterman might even suspend his nightly sniping at Palin and her book but don’t expect Oprah to betray Obama further by going rogue and recommending the memoir for Oprah’s Book Club.
Ratings are one thing. Endorsing the work of a conservative would be another whole kettle of fish.

New episode of the ACORN saga up at BigGovernment.com. The Reds taking another giant bite of that karmic turd sandwich.
The funniest part: this time they claim to have a copy of a police report that mentions O'Keefe by name...from an incident two months before the first tape was released. You know, the way you use your real name when you go undercover in a racketeer-infested organization. It's kinda like claiming to find a coin that says it was minted in 30 B.C. (Liberals, have someone explain that one to you.)

You'd think ACORN would be better at fraud and forgery, wouldn't you?

No, not really. Fraud and forgery take some intelligence.

Ah, good old absolutist thinking. A person is all good or all bad, not mostly good with some faults or mistaken but noble. Right?
Idiots.

In this case she can believe that society should be free from tyranny and totalitarianism and believe in individualism and the American way or she can be a communist. Where does the "mostly good with some faults" come into it?

I haven't the slightest idea of what Mother Teresa did for the people of Calcutta or the selfless ways in which she served humanity. For that matter, I've got no real understanding of Christianity, its Founder, or what drives people to serve if they aren't being paid.
Pay no attention to me. I'm just here to cause trouble and try to get people stirred up.

What would it take to piss me off?
Some stupid troll 'passing by' and using the name "Senator Franken", for starters. The idea that the unfunniest comedian in SNL history, was able to cheat his way into the US Senate, itself floors me.
Second, the notion that even though "profit" built the most efficient and advanced health care system on Earth, wiping out the "profit" motive is what must be done in order to save it and the people who rely on it for their.....health. THAT inane idea kind of pisses me off, too, now that you mention it.
