NO NO NO. He should think of himself as a fully owned, loyal, helpless subject of the State. We, the New Big G*, will give him all that he needs.

*all bibles will be amended to replace the old big g with The New Big G-GOVERNMENT.

Giving kids grades and trophies for nothing at all ("shows great potential") has been going on for years. It's seeing it on the political and international levels that's had even people on the Left flabbergasted.

Speaking of skool daze:

AP Celebrates Columbus Day - Again, with a Marxist educrat, uh, I meant to say, scholar providing the money quote:

Heroism and villainy are just two sides of the same coin.

Which is how you get the American Right to be like the Taliban, and the real Taliban to be friendly negotiations partners.

To quote Steve Gilbert: "Where are we going? And why are we in this handbasket?"

RINO Arnold?

It is within him to destroy himself. That's how it looks like.

SHOCKER: Obama's economic policies didn't win him the Nobel Peace Prize.

SHOCKER: Obama's economic policies didn't win him the Nobel Peace Prize.

That's nothing. That racist, Republican, Taliban-sympathizing Pope Benedict didn't make him a saint.

Racists. Everywhere. "I knew it, I'm surrounded by racists. Keep firing, racists!" (Apologies to Mel, not Zelaya, Brooks.)

Okay moonbattery, I need help.

My moonbatty Spanish teacher is making us write an essay (in spanish) about why Dear Leader deserves the Nobel Peace prize. I can't think of any reason, other than that he's black. Can anyone help me out here?

Posted by: Wingnut at October 12, 2009 1:17 PM

Wingnut, because, red yellow black or brown all are precious when i'm around.

Posted by: Barack Obama at October 12, 2009 1:37 PM

To me that would just be inviting a viscious attack on the cheek by the tongue, but you may just ought to trowel the sweetness and light on so thick only a moonbat would miss the irony. Entertain those "in the know" with the teacher's naivete.

Wingnut, for your own sake, play along. Write an over the top version, something would embarrass Kim Jong Il, and that will 1) get you an "A" from fawning moonbats, and 2) will be unmistakable dog whistle to any non-moonbat that you're satirizing the Obamanauts. Just do it with a deft hand, so it's only obvious to Americans, but not to liberals.

3 Videos for Our Times: Larry King, Al Gore, Domino’s

The venerable Larry King has been around since before Custer met his match at the Little Big Horn, or so it seems, but he keeps plugging away even as his ratings keep slip, slip, slipping away.

Host of “Larry King Live” on CNN, which itself is gradually slipping into cable news oblivion, King is noted for his big name liberal guests to whom he lobs the softest of softball questions designed to make them, and Larry King, look good.

So it was refreshing to see a clip in which Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota give Larry his comeuppance when he tried to denigrate conservative spokesmen.

Citing Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, and Mark Levin, Bachmann left little doubt that she believed those conservative stalwarts are the true voices of the Republican Party. Not incidentally, their ratings dwarf King’s paltry numbers.

Note that arch-liberal Larry keeps mentioning that they represent “just 2% of the population” and have little influence as Bachmann holds fast to her view that people watch them “because they want to hear the truth.”

She points out that their ratings keep going up to which Larry responds, “Forget about that,” as he pulls percentages out of thin air in reference to “that crowd:” http://bit.ly/cEGjM. (Hat tip to Lauren C. for that clip.)

Poor Larry. He keeps hoping that vaudeville makes a big comeback so he could take his comedy routine on the road.

The Boring Goracle is the environmentalist movement’s equivalent to Larry King, unaware that his time has come and gone and that most people now reject the pseudo-science that was the basis of An Inconvenient Truth.

As undeserving of the Nobel Prize as Barack Obama, former VP Al Gore tends to get irascible when asked questions about the convenient lies and distortions featured in his fantasy film. He tends to get so perturbed at impertinent questioning that he normally doesn’t allow any at his public appearances.

He recently departed from that imperious approach . . .

Here are some moonbat friendly ideas you can use for why Obama deserves the NPP, little wingnut:

1. He's not George Bush.
2. He hasn't done anything yet to prove he absolutely DOESN'T deserve it.
3. There's a possibility his obsequious acts of appeasement MIGHT result in peace (in much the same way it's possible will suddenly reverse itself and we'll all be flung into space).
4. Obama is like Jesus because he gives without expecting ANYTHING in return.

Bloggers In Pajamas Unite!

Proving the "six degress of separation" thing, the left-wing blogosphere is having the type of hissy fit they usually attribute to the right-wing blogosphere. All because an NBC reporter, John Harwood, made this comment about the gay-rights protesters in Washington who are objecting to Barack Obama's broken promises on gay rights (as recounted at AmericaBlog):

Barack Obama is doing well with 90% or more of Democrats so the White House views this opposition as really part of the Internet left fringe.

Which was followed by Harwood's report of this comment by a White House adviser:

For a sign of how seriously the White House does or doesn't take this opposition, one adviser told me those bloggers need to take off the pajamas, get dressed, and realize that governing a closely divided country is complicated and difficult.

Limbaugh on Race and Gays

Rush Limbaugh drew an interesting analogy the other week, to wit: If homosexuals are homosexuals because they are born that way, genetically wired beyond their control or desire to be gay, and racists are racists for the same reason, that they are born racist, should not racism be accepted and condoned if we are expected to accept and condone homosexuality?

There are obvious flaws in that argument including the existence of no verifiable, scientific substantiation of the genetic component in either homosexuality or racism but it’s still a provocative theory.

In a snarky critique of the issue on TheHollywoodGossip.com entitled, “Rush Limbaugh: Pro Segreation [sic], Anti-Gay,” the gay-sympathizing writer ridicules Limbaugh for what are transparently tongue-in-cheek remarks about the recent, bloody school bus assault on a White kid by Black kids in St. Louis: http://bit.ly/3EwpsT.

See “Just Don’t Call Them Racial Hate Crimes” for the full story and video, http://bit.ly/1mPFSo.

The article writer seized on a belated, Belleville, MO. police statement that the school bus attack wasn’t really racially inspired after initially saying the opposite.

A cursory viewing of the video of the assault strongly suggests that it was hardly inspired by a simple dispute over a seat on the bus.

The cops knew . . .
