Poor, poor Polanski.

"I found him to be tired and depressed," Herve Temime told the Sonntag newspaper.
"Roman Polanski, who is 76, seemed very dejected when I visited him," Temime told another newspaper, NZZ am Sonntag. "Polanski was in an unsettled state of mind."

Awwwww! Perhaps they could give him some Quaaludes and a 13 year old to make him feel better. The 'ludes are for her, not him.

Dragged part of this out of a previous comment, I'm still working on it, please don't steal it. I want to make millions and sit on a low-lying pacific island with 50 Polynesian women, who will be growing tobacco, and making rum and beer, for the rest of my natural life for just this idea.

If CO2 causes "greenhouse effect", why can't we use it as a means to heat a given enclosed area?

According to wiki, the common level of CO2 in a home is around 600ppm, as opposed to the 360 in the atmosphere. The "greenhouse effect" uses invisible, harmless to animals light (UV/IR) in conjunction with "greenhouse gases", to "trap" heat and warm things up.

UV/IR LED lights are available at pennies per thousand, and use practically no power to run, there is at least one in your every remote that will run on batteries for years.

Here's the grasp. Take a string of low power, invisible, harmless to animals, UV/IR LED lights to heat your home through "greenhouse effect", using the already available "greenhouse gases".

Wow, there is a complete layout for a giant huge massive government grant!

BONUS! Some IR/UL light kills bacterial and fungicidal activity. Heat your house while cleaning it! WIN WIN WIN! The moonbats in charge will love it, I could make millions.

Oh, btw, Milli-Vanilli had much better dance moves.

In breaking news, a statement was released today by the Nobel Prize Committee, in support if it’s shocking announcement of one of next years winners.

“The previous administrations in the US have falsely required and overcharged, for unnecessary, needless, and contrived costs to the common man for artificial appendix, and artificial tonsil removal operation procedures. These previously unknown crimes against society are new terms invented by next years 2010 winner of the Nobel prize for medicine, Mr. Barak Hussein Obama (aka Barry Sotero).”

Columbus Exposed!

He was “very, very mean,” “bossy,” an all around “bad guy.”

No, I’m not talking about your junior high gym teacher, or Jon Corzine, Phil Spector, or Roman Polanski. I’m talking about the man who discovered America in 1492, Christopher Columbus.

That invective is just part of the Politically Correct drivel which, along with the “Umm, Umm, Umm, Barack Hussein Obama” paean to our leader’s greatness, is being drilled into the heads of impressionable kids today by teachers who have been taught to propagandize according to National Education Association standards.

Of course, the explorer from Genoa didn’t really “discover” America. It was never lost and the still un-named continent was already inhabited by native peoples who had discovered it eons before and those noble savages had been busily hunting and warring on it ever since.

After teachers get finished with them, kids come away “with a more nuanced picture of Columbus than the noble discoverer often portrayed in pop culture and legend:” http://bit.ly/4eRath

That’s saying a mouthful!

The nuances include Columbus’ failures, getting lost searching for the Indies, “the suffering of indigenous populations,” their decimation by diseases brought by future settlers, and generally making life awful for the “Indians” who preferred their ancient lifestyle and teepees to the thought of European culture.

Needless to say, the federal Department of Education . . .

I'm sure some tool is certain to bring up the Vikings and their temporary settlements in Canada, said to have been erected around 1000 AD.

Barack Obama adviser says Sharia Law is misunderstood

President Barack Obama's adviser on Muslim affairs, Dalia Mogahed, has provoked controversy by appearing on a British television show hosted by a member of an extremist group to talk about Sharia Law.

Miss Mogahed, appointed to the President's Council on Faith-Based and Neighbourhood Partnerships, said the Western view of Sharia was "oversimplified" and the majority of women around the world associate it with "gender justice".

The Demise Of The Dollar

In a graphic illustration of the new world order, Arab states have launched secret moves with China, Russia and France to stop using the US currency for oil trading

By Robert Fisk

In the most profound financial change in recent Middle East history, Gulf Arabs are planning – along with China, Russia, Japan and France – to end dollar dealings for oil, moving instead to a basket of currencies including the Japanese yen and Chinese yuan, the euro, gold and a new, unified currency planned for nations in the Gulf Co-operation Council, including Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait and Qatar.

Secret meetings have already been held by finance ministers and central bank governors in Russia, China, Japan and Brazil to work on the scheme, which will mean that oil will no longer be priced in dollars.

The plans, confirmed to The Independent by both Gulf Arab and Chinese banking sources in Hong Kong, may help to explain the sudden rise in gold prices, but it also augurs an extraordinary transition from dollar markets within nine years.

"Not as many as 9/12 but a pretty good crowd. How many do you think?"

If we use the MSM estimates of the 9/12 crowd as a baseline for comparison (no more than 70,000), the gay parade would be around 20,000 based on the picture you showed. Of course, the MSM is calling the gay parade "massive" so the 9/12 event must have been "super massive", although I will admit that both those terms are a little harder to quantify than actual numbers.

Karin, you have a problem with Americans gathering at the Capitol to express their political views?

"Karin, you have a problem with Americans gathering at the Capitol to express their political views?"

Probably not. She probably has a problem with the thought of a man having anal sex with another man. Bigot.

...and the whole "trying to force their homosexuality down everyone else's throats" thing too.

Especially after they've had anal sex...YUCK!

I just have a problem with the MSM lying about the number of people at a demonstration, in order to advance some political agenda.
