The spin is out there. They are still afflicted with BDS.
If Chairman Zero had "gotten" the Olympics, that arrogant rat bastard would take all the credit for it.
Now that he has fallen so hilariously on his goony face, the liberal media is doing damage control.
===
We Lost The Olympics Because of Bush
Think Progress, the Democratic media-watch and policy group, always tries to blame conservatives for everything, including now the loss of the Olympics for Chicago: Mission Accomplished For Conservatives Who Rooted Against America.
I doubt that the Olympic committee listened to any conservative U.S. voices. And talking honestly about the political corruption in Chicago and Illinois, and worrying about how Obama's friends would spend tens of billions of dollars, is not "rooting against America." Rooting against America would be something along the lines of hoping that the Iraq surge failed and our troops came home in disgrace and failure, which was a uniquely Democratic and liberal phenomenon egged on by groups like Think Progress.
We didn't get the Olympics, or even get to the final round, because there was no logic to Chicago other than as a hat tip to Barack Obama. That is why President and Mrs. Obama put their personal prestige on the line to practically beg for the games. I did not think that Obama would risk his international reputation unless he knew we had the games in the bag, but I underestimated Obama's ability to persuade himself of his own persuasive powers.
President Obama's speech to the Olympic committee as quoted by Think Progress was a typical Obama speech, long on sop and emotion, short on details:

OK the spin is Oprah failed us.

My name on here is andy42302. If you google the zip 42302, that’s Owensboro KY, just 12 miles west of 42378- Whitesville KY, population 750. I frequent the area regularly and feel safe in saying to Glenn, the small town welcomes most anyone but you’re not on that list.

specialist f, I well recall the Brass (A)ss in Owensboro. I also recall a lot of horse back riding, beer drinking and women chasing. I’m thinking that “burning one”, for political reasons, was restricted to places like Fort Knox although I do recall some great times between Whitesville and there.

"Hey, DinnerJacket!
Yeah. It's Barack. Could we have just a little bitty assurance that you're really going to use that Russian reactor and your enrichment facilities for peaceful purposes? Because if not, I'm going to send another diplomat over to lecture your ambassador at the UN. Then, I'm going to ask the Security Council to threaten more sanctions that China and Russia will veto."

They can try to spin it any way they want. I welcome the spin. Every word written to explain/rationalize/spin Obama's failure in Denmark reinforces the notion that something went wrong and that it was a f**k up of large proportions, large enough to keep talking about and to keep trying to deflect blame. All these spinmeisters are doing is getting the word out to more people that there was an epic FAIL involving Barack Obama. I hope they prattle on about how this (a) wasn't that bad, and (b) isn't Obama's fault, for weeks and weeks. Any time in life that you hear people talking about how something wasn't that bad, and that you really shouldn't blame person X for what happened, you instinctively know that some really bad shit went down and it was X's fault. Please, media, stay on this one.

Actually, it was Michelle Obama who blew the Olympic bid for Chicago with this little display on public transportation in Copenhagen.

The future of America rests in the hands of people like those who follow sites like this one. Railing against the trolls is a common problem, but it must be done. I personally don't agree with even responding to the trolls, but that is me.
There must be an overwhelming awakening of the conservative base to "de-elect" the current president, in order to stop the flushing of the values, laws, faiths, freedoms and actual physical presence of the Constitution of the United Sates of America.
There is a real danger that before we get the opportunity to throw out the islamo/fascist/marxism which is the current state of the government of the U. S., they will change the laws to erase, destroy, or cover up all votes of descent. Don't ever think that it cannot happen. Every clear thinking German and Russian, along with all the countries which were over run in Eastern Europe thought there was no way it could possibly have happened, and afterward thanked God it was over.
IT CAN HAPPEN HERE, AND IT IS WELL ADVANCED.
OBAMA, AND HIS MACHINE MUST BE STOPPED!!!

The Israelis won't do it.

Now the Times has got it. The problem is that some people have "accused" the Iranians of playing for time. Obama will not fall for that old trick, I'm confident of it. After all, Obama announced a two-week deadline for the Iranians to open their no-longer-secret enrichment facility to inspection:
A State Department spokesman on Friday signaled that the president's mandate that Iran has two weeks to permit inspections of its recently unveiled uranium refinement plant was not "written in stone."
"I don't think that there's a hard-and-fast deadline," State Department spokesman Ian Kelly said during Friday's press briefing, after a reporter asked what the consequences of Iran's inaction might be.

I did the photoshop on this one and sent it along. The ears were done a little bit, but not much. The reefer was just a little add in as his hand was just perfect for it. The feet up on the desk were not photoshopped in, that's how it was...
Which brings me to Eric's excellent point which I missed, why are his feet up on the desk made from the Resolute timbers? Maybe another slap in the face of Britain after giving them a 25 DVD set that aren't coded for the right region, and an Ipod to the queen of his speeches loaded on it.

AP points out Obama's all-too-familiar flaws in lobbying for the Olympics
To paraphrase:
Carrying out all his agendas as fast as possible (before he is booted out)
Can't get the job done
All style and speeches, no substance or hard work
Wastes time on every trivial matter while important issues are ignored

Iran trying to get nuclear materials via Canada
Why all the secrecy and subterfuge, if the parts were only for the peaceful generation of electricity? "Iran aiming to get nuclear materials via Canada: customs," from Agence France-Presse, October 1:
OTTAWA (AFP) -- Iran is attempting to acquire clandestine shipments via Canada for its nuclear program, a senior customs official said Thursday.
Canadian customs officers have seized everything from centrifuge parts to programmable logic controllers being shipped to Iran through third countries, George Webb, head of the Canada Border Services Agency's Counter Proliferation Section, told the National Post.

Rooting Against Terre Haute 2020
John Kass, the brilliant columnist for the Chicago Tribune, explains why Chicago did not get the Olympics. He tells the story of a t-shirt he saw. It says Chicago 2016 on the front, and Terre Haute 2020 on the back.
To those of us not from Chicago, the joke is not immediately clear. So Kass enlightens the uninformed:
As every Chicago politician knows, Terre Haute, Ind., is home to a federal prison. That's where a few would be tossed after boodling their way to Olympic fortunes. And why 2020? That's how long it would take for grand juries to do their work.

The 'American Police Force' Settles In Montana Town
Hardin residents appear split over what American Police Force's intentions are, but Hardin mayoral candidate Kerri Smith says the group is here to help.(1)
Two days after American Police Force members arrive in Hardin in black Mercedes police cars, the Hardin decals are gone. "Who is the American Police Force that's what I would like to know," said Hardin resident Kizzy Neutgens.
When we approached the group Friday morning an APF member instructed us he wasn't sure where the group's leader Captain Michael Hilton was. Minutes later Hilton abruptly left the facility.
"It probably is [mysterious] to those that don't know what's going on," said Kerri Smith. Smith is the wife of Two Rivers Authority Executive Director Greg Smith, who was recently placed on administrative leave. No public explanation has been given as to Smith's dismissal.

Hypocrisy: Apart from a healthy appetite, what do the 1.3-billion-strong Red Chinese have in common with filmmaker Michael Moore? Living a Marxist creed while practicing capitalism.
The paradox of New York City, home to Wall Street, arranging for the Empire State Building to shimmer in the red and yellow of the communist Chinese flag to celebrate 60 years of tyranny is bad enough.
What about a documentary filmmaker who has lined his pockets with millions by tearing down a corporate CEO, celebrating Fidel Castro's Cuba and now directly savaging America's free-market system in his latest flick, "Capitalism: A Love Story"?
Mainland China may have long since toned down its state-sanctioned cult of personality surrounding the greatest murderer in world history, Mao Zedong. But as far as political freedoms go, it remains very much a communist country.
Its adoption of capitalist economics, however, has turned it into an economic powerhouse, though you'll never hear its safely entrenched dictators admit as much.

i'm wondering what it will take for "impeachment" proceedings to stop obama... he seems oblivious to how pissed off we are getting and does not seem to care or even acknowledge that we are ready to hang his ass out to dry... he's so full of himself his uppity magic negro ego won't let him understand the reality of the things he's doing.
