Obama Closes Down the Sky for DNC Fundraiser

Comrade Obama rules not only the land, but also the air above it. On a whim, he can close down airspace, imposing no-fly zones that cost the public untold amounts of money. This he did for the sake of raising money for the DNC in San Francisco recently:
Jim Gray has submitted a bill to the White House and the Democratic National Committee in the amount of $2565 dollars, representing the business which has been lost at his Oakland Flyers flight school during a campaign fund-raising visit by President Obama.
The visit Thursday night brought a TFR [temporary flight restriction] to the Bay area of California from 1700 till 1000 Friday, which meant Gray's fleet sat parked, students had to have their lessons cancelled, and both the flight school and the instructors lost money.
Gray comments, "If it was for something related to global affairs, I'd have no problem with it. But if it's just for fundraising, kind of do it on somebody else's dime."
Fortunately not every business that is bruised financially by Chairman Zero's high-handed rule of the air submits a bill. If the bills were actually paid, the government might start to run a deficit, and our responsible leadership wouldn't want that. But it is a good thing to have warning when Obamamites are in the area, in case they start buzzing famous landmarks for photo ops again.

Why do they need to close down the airspace for that long? The Klingon Bird of Prey is in friendly territory. The worst thing that could happen is they might try and redecorate the interior of the plane and repaint it in rainbow colors.

TFR’s happen all the time for royalty. I’ve had to stay grounded for McStain when he was campaigning in Denver, Bush permanently quarantined off DC and totally expanded the prohibited area around Camp David in Thurmont after September 11. The government, emboldened by liberal voters, feels like it’s theirs for the taking.

He needs to make this trips, theres nothing much going on in Washington DC these days. The Stimulus is working like a charm, ObaMAOcare is a reality, gorebull warming has ended and the seas have receded, the Earth had healed itself....
