When I was a school boy in Texas (Jr. High around '67) we had what were known then as 'Southern Assemblies' which consisted of 'presenters', with contracts to school districts, who went from school to school 'presenting' all kinds of crap.

I remember a guy who played saws (no joke); worst ear-splitting crap I was ever forced to sit through.

Then there was the 'Spaceship Earth' guy who showed cool pictures (cool for '67) of space and tried to convince us that the Earth was a spaceship and it was our job to make certain we took care of our spaceship so it would continue to fly. I'm pretty sure he was the first silly liberal I ever recognized as such.

But - back on topic... we also had a presentation by a paroled felon. He explained what prison was like and what his life was like as a felon. One of the things that struck me to the bone - even when I was 13 years old - was the fact that (and he made a point of this) he lost all voting rights for life. I thought "Man! I'm NEVER going to prison!".

I guess the system has "loosened" somewhat since I was young.

It shows.

When king George told us to pay him to be subjects, did we comply? NO! When Mexico invaded the Alamo, did they give up? NO! When Democrats tried to force us to own slaves, did we give in? NO! When Teddy was asked to surrender at San Juan Hill, did he? NO! When the England was losing more lives than they could pay to the superior forces in europe, did we let them die in vain? NO! When the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor, did we give up? NO!, When the french were massacred in indochina, did we let them surrender? NO! (actually, no one can prevent the french from surrendering) When the ruskies put nukes in Cuba, did we let them stay there? HELL NO! When Jane went to Hanoi, did we give up? NO WAY! When Ronaldus Maximus stood by a wall and demanded that wall be torn down, did we back down? NO! When spineless, fascist, terrorists attacked innocent civilians, countless times did we shrink from the enforcing of justice? NO! (except when a democrat was president) Some day, once again, AMERICA will take it's rightful place as the greatest place on the face of the earth to be from, or to go to for the freedom, liberty and ability of the people to control the direction of their own fate. Until then, there will be some democrats (fascists) in charge. When the world calls for justice and freedom, eventually a Conservative is elected in America to lead the oppressed of the world to liberty.

Let us also hope this POTUS will remember it was JAPAN at Pearl Harbor!

When 95% of blacks voted for Obama its not suprising to see so many mug shots of them wearing Obama T Shirts since in the general public 99% of people wearing Obama shirts in public are black (working in a Moonbat city and all I see this on a daily basis). Many whites did vote for Obama but they tend not to flaunt it by wearing Obama shirts and such.

State Sen. Chris Rector, R-Thomaston, gave a quick presentation of the Republican platform to a group of inmates before helping register them last week at the Bolduc prison, where Horr learned about his options.

"They say recidivism rates are lower among those who can achieve some kind of community engagement," Rector said. "This is a tiny building block in that process."
