Morning Briefs: Stuff You May Have Read Somewhere Else
Posted by Gregory of Yardale at October 12, 2009 3:29 AM
Good Morning Campers,
Item Number One: The Obama Health and Human Services Department decided to stage a publicity stunt by vaccinating an entire school with the H1N1 vaccine. The goal was to showcase the efficiency of their administration, and have a success story to support the cause of state-run health care. You can probably already guess what a spectacular FAIL it turned out to be.
.A U.S. government media event to promote H1N1 school vaccinations on Friday included VIPs, cute kids and a phalanx of television cameras -- but only one in five children at the school had proper parental consent to get immunized. "This school was ready to go," Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius... But 80 percent of the student body were ineligible for vaccinations due to missing paperwork during the day-long swine flu clinic. Federal officials did not want to discuss the turnout.
Of course, they didn't.
Item Number Two: In another socialized medicine success story, an eighty-year-old woman left to die by Airstrip One's National Health Service had to be rescued by her own daughter. NHS doctors had determined the old lady's life was not worth sustaining, and had chosen to deny her food and medicine. But remember, folks, 'Death Panels' are just a figment of Sarah Palin's imagination.
Item Number Three: Good News for Anonymous Trolls, Mexico has discovered a massive deposit of lithium. Now, all they need to do is discover a massive deposit of Thorazine and you guys will be all set.
And finally, (Item Number Four), the Obama White House just cannot deal with the fact that America's Number One news network doesn't love Dear Leader with the fawning worship of all the other networks. So much so that their Communications Chief has been throwing a public tantrum about it. Which is why these Morning Briefs are brought to you by the Obama Administration's communication department.

Comments
No big boy pants, Little O, until you stop getting all wee-wees and poopies about realities you and your statist baby buddies refuse to acknowledge, like the success of capitalism and the reality of the War on Terror.
Somebody give him a passy - with lithium in it perhaps?

Obama is punishing FNC by not going on!?? Hell, that's why their ratings are so high, it's the only place you can go to get away from his ugly azz! Recently FNC even beat one of the networks in ratings, they always beat all the cable news combined and have for YEARS! Keep doing what you're doing Barry! As usual the stupid left do exactly the opposite of what they should do because they act like spoiled kids. ;-)

RE Item 2. It's even worse than Sarah Palin's death panels. I read in Human Events this weekend that HR 3200 appoints a "Health Choices Commissioner" to be gatekeeper; the appointed-by-the-prez position has nearly boundless powers and zero accountability. So, it's not a death panel, it's a death Kommisar.
Given king zero's czar appointments, can you imagine the insane evil moonbat put in charge? Can we storm Washington again yet? Too soon?

Michael Moore went on Hannity and Obama wont? Obama is clearly a political light weight. He cant face his critics without a teleprompter. Obama does not think on his feet very well and is apt to say stupid things. Not as bad as Joe Biden but close.

Most of these were good to read. However ... lithium is a metal; the pharmaceutical is produced using lithium salts from that netal.
I know, it sounded very funny. But lithium is mined, or dug out of the ground, or something.
:)
