Morning Briefs: Stuff You've Probably Already Read Somewhere Else
Posted by Gregory of Yardale at October 7, 2009 4:57 AM
Good Morning, Campers
Item Number One: Bill Ayers, the unrepentant domestic terrorist whom the American left rewarded with a tenured professorship, admits that it was actually he who wrote B. Hussein Obama's "auto"-biography, Dreams From My Father. Obama would have written it himself, but he was just too wee-weed up at the time. (American Thinker)
Item Number Two: Muslim soccer team refuses to play with French gay soccer team. The French team accused the Muslim team of homophobia, to which the Muslim team replied, "Well, duh! After all, we are Muslims." Personally, I can't get past the epic redundancy of the phrase "French gay soccer team."
Item Number Three: The Democrat candidate for governor in Virginia is down by double digits in the polls, and says it's because voters are punishing him because they don't care for the radical left agenda being pushed in Washington. In other words, a Democrat is losing and he's blaming Barack Hussein Obama. Mmm! Mmm! Mmm! (Jennifer Rubin in Commentary)

Deeds is also losing in Virginia because he is spending all his advertizing on busting McDonnel for his college thesis... and nobody cares. Not one word about what he would do as Governor.

Good morning to you, Greg of Y!
Profiles in Countermoonbattery: I hit the link up there to American Thinker, and from there it took me to Newsbusters, where the story is that a high school cancelled Bill Ayers' speech there. It seems the parents had a leeeeetle problem with him and got out the torches and pitchforks.

That anti-Deeds ad rocks.

Item 2: Gotta love Liberal paradox. They want tolerance for sexual deviants and every alien cultures, especially those directly opposed to their own, even when those cultures teach zero tolerances themselves.

Yes, we've had predictions here of items like #2, and we'll see more and more of those. It will be fun to watch libtards' heads explode trying to pick their favorite oppressed minority.
Posted by: Mr Evilwrench at October 7, 2009 6:18 AM
Damn right Evilwrench. Since their favored minorities are at odds with their philosophies we'll see liberal priorities soon enough. Here's my bet : Black people (the workhorse of the Liberal media and philosophy), Gays (Because they promote sexual deviancy), Women (Because they're constantly "oppressed"), Hispanics (because they're so convenient) and other minorities. Remember, you've read it here first.

#3 proves that the Dems also have racists.

To be fair, I don't care for Deeds' platform, but it wouldn't outright destroy Virginia were he to get elected. But he's right, Virginia is pretty centrist these days, and the outcome of the gubernatorial election tends to oppose the party of the sitting president for quite some time now.

Prof, there was a funny parody in Weekly Standard about how the WashPo was trying desperately to give that thesis story legs, but no traction was happening. People were using cubicle neighbors as sources, etc. I hadn't even heard of the brouhaha.

Deeds had the nerve to say "I'm not going to raise taxes" and then followed that with "We're going to need to raise revenue for a transportation project."
Anything that government partakes in that requires revenue boils down to taxes.
Ipso facto, he straight up lied on camera.

I am getting 2 campaign mailing a week from Deeds (addressed to my wife). The central themeis still the thesis.
"McDonnel hates women"

I read that earlier Karin. Horribly frustrating and so much stupid crammed into one thread that I'm lucky my head didn't explode, literally.
