Morning Briefs: Stuff You Probably Have Already Read Somewhere Else
Posted by Gregory of Yardale at October 30, 2009 5:50 AM
Good Morning Campers and Silly Dingbat Trolls who Think Peeing on Jesus is Funny,
Item Number One: It's legal in Texas for parents to make their kids watch porn? WTF? The law was intended to protect parents who wanted to teach their kids about sex. Think about unintended consequences of silly laws, then think about Granny Rictus Botox and her 1,990 page health care bill.
Item Number Two Officials at the UN recently were duped by a Colonel Sanders impersonator. It was a KFC publicity stunt, and the guy made it all the way the the office of the General Assembly President. Yeah, and these are the guys who are going to monitor the Iranian Nuclear Program.
Item Number Three: The left is at it again, and by "it" I mean the "spreading phony quotes from conservatives" thing they've been into lately. A couple of weeks ago, it was phony quotes about Rush Limbaugh supporting slavery and saying James Earl Ray deserved a medal. Now, they're spreading a phony quote that claims Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia supports segregation. In this case, they took a quote from Scalia that he would have dissented in Plessy v. Ferguson (which established segregation) and claiming he said he would have dissented in Brown v. Board of Education, which abolished it. Why does the progressive left do this? Because, they're lying scum, that's what they do.
These Morning Briefs are brought to you by the Prandtl-Glauert singularity, the rare scientific phenomenon that looks as cool as its name.

Pretty neat photo. Amazing stuff.
On another note, here's some more shenanigans the left is up to. And in the Capitol no less. They are turning not only a deaf ear, but blatantly telling us to shut the eff up by not accepting petitions. Watch this video. Time to turn up the heat.

Re the Ares photo - that's the shock wave as Ares is about to break the sound barrier. I noticed it during the launch. I will be attending next month's launch of Atlantis STS-129 - I can't wait!

Was that angel wing effect around that jet that was showcased in the "Warrior Song" the result of the Prandtl-Glauert singularity?

I'm glad that were are going ahead with the Aries Project, but it would have started in the early '90s if Washington hadn't been so obsessed with LIBERAL politics.
