Morning Briefs: Stuff You've Probably Already Read Somewhere Else
Posted by Gregory of Yardale at October 29, 2009 4:19 AM
Good Morning Campers and Anonymous Idiots from Greater Calgary,
Item Number One: First the UN decided that paying high rent for crappy housing in New York City (a consequence of socialist rent-control, BTW) was a violation of human rights. Now, some Eurotwit is claiming it's illegal for the United States to bomb terrorists. He says bombing terrorists without a trial amounts to "summary execution." No, Dingus, it's what grown-ups call "waging war."
A president who actually possessed working genitalia would send the UN and the EU the same message Ahnuld sent the California legislature, but not the Metrosexual Bottom B-tch apologizer bunny regrettably occupying the Oval Office.
Item Number Two: That super-duper successful "Cash 4 Clunkers" program that the progressive left was so proud of, that showed how Obamunism worked, that proved if you pay people $4,500 to buy a car in August, a lot of people who'd been planning to buy a car anyway would take advantage of it... ended up costing taxpayers $24,000 per car sold.
But remember, we need a "public option" to make health care more efficient.
Item Number Three: Deranged leftist Gore Vidal says Roman Polanski is only being persecuted because he's Jewish, and of his victim says, "Am I going to sit and weep every time a young hooker feels as though she’s been taken advantage of?" The good news is, there is no Earthly reason to give a crap what that mincing, decrepit pederast thinks about anything.
This post brought to you by the fevered delusions of a progressive leftist carpet-muncher:
Low life SOB using our fallen soldiers as a photo op while he ties their hands, limits reinforcements (except for the ones on the other side he lets out of Gitmo), limits air and artillery. This is the last straw, he is below all contempt.

Do you have to be illiterate to be a conservative, or is it just worth bonus points?
Posted by: Anonymous at October 29, 2009 5:13 AM
Once again the left feigns concern for Jews when it fits their agenda. Can these people be any flakier!? Any other time it's ok to blow them off the face of the Earth. AND the Jews buy it. Vote for them some more! FOOLS!
Posted by: TED at October 29, 2009 5:20 AM
Do you have to be brain dead to be anonymous? Apparently! MORON!
Posted by: TED at October 29, 2009 5:21 AM
Seriously TED, you should consider school. Playing hooky everyday has obviously not only affected your ability to communicate effectively, but also your ability to think critically.
When a guy refuses to learn the basics of English grammar and spelling, it's kind of hard to believe he's developed an educated view of politics.

"Do you have to be brain dead to be anonymous? Apparently! MORON!
No, but you have to support The One through their pimp and ho talent agency, ACORN.
Posted by: Duke at October 29, 2009 5:27 AM
Seriously, why do conservatives hate grammar so much? Do you have to fail a spelling test to join the Republican party?
Do you actually understand what each other is saying, because I don't see any sense there, or is it all an act?
Posted by: Anonymous at October 29, 2009 5:31 AM
Posted by: TED at October 29, 2009 5:33 AM
Do we speak libealese, no, we speak English. YOU should try it occasionally anon. It IS the language of country you live in weather you like it or not. ;-)
Posted by: TED at October 29, 2009 5:36 AM
Anonymous's IP is the same used by the troll "wingnutlicker," the trust-fund troll from Denmark. And his whining about "grammar" just means I used too many big words in the post and made his head hurt.
Posted by: Gregory of Yardale at October 29, 2009 5:39 AM
I'd say "I hope Gore Vidal gets gang raped by a huge group of Japanese Ninjas" but I'm all too sure he'd enjoy that.
Miserable, fucking scumbag...
Posted by: Fuzzlenutter at October 29, 2009 5:40 AM
TED, you continue to prove that you do not have even the most basic understanding of the English language. How ignorant can you be? How dare you? You don't know the difference between "whether" and "weather" just for starters. You are a joke TED. A joke.
If command of English were a requirement for living in America, you would be kicked out.
You sad, sad boy.
Posted by: Anonymous at October 29, 2009 5:41 AM
And Anon, go play with yourself. It will be the most stimulating thing you do all day...
Posted by: Fuzzlenutter at October 29, 2009 5:42 AM
What a douchebag Anon is. Is that your compelling arguement? Let's see:
In the main article, we need an apostrophe, grown-up needs an R, and prosecuted is suffering from dyslexia (protected under the ADA laws, you bigot). Just Al needs a verb, as in "Low life SOB IS using..."
Get out the can of Raid.
Posted by: Karin at October 29, 2009 5:44 AM
Ted allow me to translate for anonpuss." I can't refute anything you have written so I will bitch about your grammar". :)
Posted by: Farmer Ted at October 29, 2009 5:44 AM
No farmer, I can't understand anything any of you write because it's gibberish.
Again, if you haven't bothered to learn to communicate in your native language, why should I believe the content of your posts is valid?
Honestly, trying to make sense of the comments here is like attempting to make sense of the incomprehensible rants of mental patients at the asylum.
Then you have the nerve to tell me to learn English? What a complete an utter joke you all are.

"If the proper use of 'who' and 'whom' makes me a Nazi," thinks the Grammar Nazi, "then it is a fair price to pay for the cause—and, if a few half-assed constructions and poorly structured interrogatives need to die in the gas chambers for that same cause, then so be it, for it is a good cause."

I apologize for the typos. One of the quirks of the Movable Type program Moonbattery uses is that saving an entry publishes it to the blog. My habit is to spell-check entries *after* saving. Which is why the first version that posts is often a draft and I usually have to revise it two or three times to make it acceptable. The Morning Briefs are especially problematic because of the number of links, which create visual clutter when I have to proofread in raw html.
Posted by: Gregory of Yardale at October 29, 2009 6:39 AM
I expect it to be assigned to me and mein brǖders who wage a war of Grammatical Purity on this site in perpetuity!
Posted by: Anonymous at October 29, 2009 6:44 AM
Anonpuss since you are replying to our posts then obviously you understand them and can't refute them. Now run along I hear mommy calling you.
Posted by: Farmer Ted at October 29, 2009 7:20 AM
Also notice that anonopuss called itself a nazi before anyone here did...hmmm.
Posted by: Farmer Ted at October 29, 2009 7:22 AM
How about if BORE VIDAL and his hollyweird pals get together and make a crappy movie about their beloved idol They with the pervert HARVEY MILK
Posted by: SPURWING PLOVER at October 29, 2009 7:40 AM
Thats so later he can point and say these guys have the word nazi on their blog.
Oh and whats up about Calgary?

Wingnutlicker is a crashing bore and has ruined this thread.

The U.N., a Boil on the Arse of America
We should have known at the inception of the United Nations when the U.S.S.R. was accorded three separate votes in the General Assembly that the whole idea was a bad deal for the United States.
We should have known but we didn’t, or else we did know and bought into the deal anyway because, ostensibly, it was all in the interests of a lasting world peace, aka, pie in the sky.
Then, too, convicted Soviet spy, Alger Hiss, helped establish the structure of the U.N. However, that was before the Cold War with the Soviet Union so his machinations must have been motivated by the purest and most patriotic intentions.
The fact that the world hasn’t had any real peace since the U.N. entered the geopolitcal picture still hasn’t resonated with many Americans and the fact that nothing the U.N. has ever done has favored American interests. We still pour money and precious military resources into that cesspool.
The U.N. has been and will continue to be the proverbial teats on a bull while posing as mankind’s savior and American suckers will continue to subsidize that sad excuse for a deliberative, international body.
Far worse, the rotting building on New York City’s East River and its thousands of rotten, resident delegates and functionaries represent the most insidious, dangerous force we have ever faced.
Too many books and articles, including any number of articles in this space, have been written on the fraud that is the United Nations to beat that dead horse so let’s just focus on one of its most recent foray into diplomacy.
US Drones May Be Tantamount to Summary Executions: Of all institutions, the U.N. should be the last to speak of drones but this week U.N. Special Rapporteur on Extrajudicial Executions Philip Alston did just that.
With that ostentatious title, I guess Mr. Alston feels he’s entitled to address any issue he damned well pleases. . . .

What's up FREE is that Yardale, as he has demonstrated more than once, thinks it's cool to look up IP addresses as a way to geographically "out" people who disagree with him. Integrity is not one of Yardale's strong points.

I've know Great Dane's, anon, and you, sir, are no Great Dane. Mundane, yes. Great Dane, no.
Posted by: Judith M. at October 29, 2009 9:11 AM
Is Canada that small or are you just a litle wuss bag trolling until mommy fixes you a hot pocket?
Posted by: Farmer Ted at October 29, 2009 9:13 AM
Oh, and I meant Great Danes (no apostrophe).

US out of the UN - UN out of the US!!!!!
I found a quick and easy way to read all these comments. I first read the "Posted by:" line and if it says annonymous, I skip it. I don't think I'm missing any deep philosophical discussion, am I?
Posted by: man of few words at October 29, 2009 12:37 PM
man of few words what a GREAT idea! LOL!!
Posted by: The first of many, many completely different names at October 29, 2009 1:48 PM
Man of few words;
That will save on the consumption of usless and base words.
Serious lack of content and unproductive "correctional" banter is all he/she has. He/she has nothing to offer that would add to the discussion. In Summary, He/she's a troll unworthy of reading.
Posted by: czuch at October 29, 2009 3:31 PM
My favorite observation about the moonbat trolls, especially the "anonymous" ones....(and Gregory, for the 246th time, have your web guys rig the forum so that "Name" is a required field!)
They whine, bitch, moan and complain about how rotten and nasty and unfair the blog is. They complain about what illiterate, fascist scum we are - how we're all losers and such. Then they'll pick on a few surface errors as irrefutable proof that someone really is an idiot, and therefore nothing they've said has any merit.
Why, why, WHY do such individuals keep coming by again and again, day after day, if that's really how they feel? Worse, why do they post multiple times on the same thread?
Sorry, too much thinking. Asking logical questions makes my head hurt.
Posted by: Cylar at October 29, 2009 11:47 PM
Man of few words, I've followed that policy for a while now, especially when time is short. If I see a main article with 95 comments, I know that stoned goat, candyandy, meh, or anonymous has shown up.
Cylar, that is particularly maddening. If someone is missing a letter or apostrophe in a word, the troll gleefully points to it and declares all of us uneducated, illiterate knuckle draggers. You should get a load of the quality of writing at the DU. And that from teachers!!
