Morning Briefs: Stuff You May Have Already Read Somewhere Else

Posted by Gregory of Yardale at October 22, 2009 4:42 AM

Good morning campers and left-wing sourpusssies,

Item Number One: Just to get this out of the way, the criminal racket known has ACORN has been caught red-handed committing vote fraud in New York state; but this will not stop its left-wing defenders from claiming that ACORN has never engaged in voter fraud. Also, there's a new video of ACORN attempting to facilitate prostitution and tax fraud, yet again.

Item Number Two: Safe School Czar and Pederast-Enabler Kevin Jennings contributed to an exhibit of pornographic art at Harvard University while a member of radical gay group ACT UP (a perfect moniker for a group best known for throwing tantrums in public.) The exhibit not only features really nasty pornographic images, but also urges the assassination of Ronald Reagan, George HW Bush, Mario Cuomo, and other public figures out of favor with the radical gay left.

In related news, the Los Angeles Police Department is severing ties with the group that runs its Explorer program for youth because that group is "linked to" the Boy Scouts. Left-wingers hate the Boy Scouts because of their policy against sending young boys camping with creeps like Kevin Jennings.

Item Number Three: Populist Blowhard Bill O'Reilly on Chairman Zero's War on Fox: "The Obama Administration is fighting harder against Fox News than the Taliban" At first I was going to tag this as hyperbole for the benefit of humorless buffoons, then I realized it was literally true. The Obama Regime wants FoxNews utterly defeated, not so the Taliban. The Obama Regime thinks the brutal murderers of the Taliban have a legitimate voice in the government of Afghanistan, but they don't think FoxNews or its viewers have a legitimate viewpoint, or should be allowed to participate in the American government.

Brought to you by America's Children: Sentenced to a lifetime of indentured servitude to pay off the Obamacrats' massive government debt.

I was listening to NPR this morning(sorry, Bob and Tom give me a headache) and heard the host defending one of the latest targets of Rush Limbaugh's criticism, New York Times environmental writer Andrew Revkin.

Article from Rush here: http://tinyurl.com/yhaohzy

Audio link at NPR here: http://tinyurl.com/yjmwgp5

Apparantly Revkin supports giving carbon credits to couples who have only one child. The radio program provided an audio of Rush asking Mr. Revkin to do the world a favor and "Off" himself. (courtesy of Media Matters I'm sure) They ended by informing the audience that Revkin's wife was serving in the Israeli Armed Forces and was a Rush listener.

Single moms will surely be included when they start passing out the carbon credits. Maybe they can just issue certificates at the abortion clinic.

Carbon Credits- the new Food Stamps.

You know what would be a great blog feature, Gregory? Closed captioning for the humor impaired. Leftists could turn it on and there would be annotations for those who don't understand tongue-in-cheek humor. The rest of us could turn it off and just chuckle.

Hope for the transgender community.

"populist blowhard O'Reilly" - hahaha I don't think I agree with that characterization, though. O'Reilly is from the Charles Johnson (LGF) school of punditry - appointing himself to the dead-center middle and tasked by god with exposing everyone to the left or right of his perfect middle for being extremist kooks. That isn't "populist", just supercilious sanctimony.

Only since O'Reilly found the Messiah has he became soooooo perfect. Dare you say anything against the "ONE", he'll hit you with one of his dictionary words.

Bill would say you are just being pecksniffian. LOL!

Bill is still ok for the most part but he does seem to go out of his way not to offend Chairman O or his minions in Whitehouse.

He he
I second the "closed captioning for the humor impaired" feature. That could be hysterical.
