Morning Briefs: Stuff You May Have Read Somewhere Else

Posted by Gregory of Yardale at October 19, 2009 3:39 AM

Good morning, campers. Did you have a good weekend. How 'bout those Cougars?

Item Number One
: An historically Black College has outlawed cross-dressing on campus. What a dilemma, how does a PC Progressive pick a side on this one? Do you side with the historically oppressed people of color, or with the hip, gender-benders the contemporary porn culture has so eagerly embraced?

Item Number Two: It's been mentioned here before, but it is once again confirmed that America's Most Liberal City, Detroit (a.k.a. New Mogadishu) is nothing but a one-party kleptocracy where pay-to-play is an accepted part of the political culture; no one looks twice when candidates for city government pay off groups in exchange for endorsements. On a side note, three runners died in the Detroit marathon this year. None from gunshot wounds, surprisingly enough. It must be getting tough if the gangs can't afford bullets anymore.

Item Number Three: Shapard Fairey, the Obamunist artist who came up with the iconic fascistic "Hope" posters now admits that he stole the image from the AP and then lied about it in court. His Stanford law school legal team quit because of this breach of ethics. If you're so bad lawyers won't even lie for you, I don't know where you go from that. I just wonder, where would an Obama supporter get the idea that lying and stealing were okay?

Oh yeah, that's where.
