More Reasons to Homeschool

Buying into environmentalist vegan moonbattery, public schools in Baltimore MD have joined the "Meatless Monday" movement by removing meat from their Monday menus.

“They met with us over the summer, before we even launched the new menu,” Mellissa Mahoney, a chef and dietitian with the school district, told CNSNews.com. She said at first they didn’t realize that Meatless Monday is a national and international movement with ties to extreme animal rights activists. “We know now what they do, and we have collaborated with them,” Mahoney said.

The "Meatless Monday" Movement is a group of radical vegans tied to PETA and extreme environmental groups. More to the point, can you imagine what would happen if the Roman Catholic Church pressure schools to serve fish on Friday? I bet you can. The rules are different when the religion in question is Animist Gaia Worship.

Also, proving once again that Zero Tolerance = Total Stupidity, a six year old in Newark, Delaware has been sentenced to 45 days in reform school for bringing a Cub Scout eating utensil to his cafeteria. (Under zero tolerance, your likelihood of getting selected for enforcement is inversely proportional to how dangerous you actually are.)

And these are just today's two good reasons why public schools are terrified of homeschooling, vouchers and competition.
