I don't know of any real Christians who would put a portrait of Jesus Christ in the bathroom. Sounds like a ridiculously contrived plot device, intended to incite offense. (Like when 'Family Guy' a season or two ago pictured healthy soldiers mocking disabled ones.)

The portrait of Jesus Christ in my home is is a bit unconventional, but it serves to remind me that Christ died for all people.

shunha, my family has NEVER wasted its money on HBO. With the exceptions of 'Tales from the Crypt' (Which was soon put on regular channels anyway) and 'Band of Brothers' (Ditto), no really good programming has ever come from that network. Even just the revolting 'Real Time with Bill Maher' is more than enough of a reason for any decent human being to stay the hell away from that network.

You guys really need to get a grip. It is a successful comedy show, and a rip on "the miracle seekers", not Christ. I will give you, a bit over the top, but the clip and show are incredibly funny. You may want to actually watch the clip before flipping out.

As for calling him washed up like Franken and Letterman. Let's see one is a U.S. Senator, one has a huge late night talk show on CBS, and Larry David created "Seinfeld" and 'Curb Your Enthusiasm", both wildly popular.

You know I am all for freedom of expression. But this is a alot beyond that. I am a Christian and find this highly offensive. But what is worse is that if I did this to a Muslim object I would probably be thrown in jail, where as when they do it to a picture of Christ we got told to shut up. Whatever happened to one standard for all?

In the episode "The Ski Lift" is season 5 larry pretends to be an orthadox jew(and goes way overboard) to impress/con the head of the kidney consordium who is well... an orthadox jew into moving his friend richard lewis up on the donors list. It seems to be taken for granted by people who have never watched the show that LD whipped out his crank and urinated on a picture of Jesus. I'm not going to explain the set-up to this part of the show to people who keep screaming 'but what about the Koran....' Comments like that say a lot more about the person who writes them than they do anything else.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned that they don't find it offensive that someone would have pictures of their lord and saviour placed in close proximity of their toilet. Come on guys, our wives never like our aim and if I had a picture of Jesus placed within "spray distance" from my toilet this could have happened to me also.

You are in complete factual error. Having lived and worked in the middle east for many years, muslims DO believe and frequently observe miracles! Of course media exposure to such things is limited to the islamic world. The arabic word for "Allah" is frequently seen inscribed on vegetables and plants and in other things in nature. There was a recent case where a young child had verses from the Quran spontaneously appear on her flesh. They also see "Muhamed" written upon the Martian surface. Muslims also widely believe Niel Armstrong heard an Azan, a muslim call to prayer on the moon, and then converted to islam during a trip to Indonesia, in spite of Dr. Armstrongs denial.
