HuffPo Moonbats Decry Racist Dog Costumes

After the sense of right and wrong, the first thing moonbattery destroys as it rots away the soul is the sense of humor. But at least this provides laughs for those who haven't yet succumbed. At Huffington Post, humorless moonbats denounce racist pet costumes, only dimly aware that their righteous indignation is even more preposterous than the costumes themselves.

Saving the most egregious thought crime for last, HuffPo gasps at the dog pimp costume below, "Is it only a coincidence that this dog's black?!"
This Halloween, moonbats are encouraged to dress up as clowns. Maybe it will remind them to laugh at things that are comical, starting with their own sanctimonious outrage.

Well dog my cat, none of these offensive costumes appear to be Christian or European. It's OK to 'offend' these groups, I suppose.

I usually avoid Huff-comPost, and other similar fever swamps (kos, du, etc...), but I was courious to see the comments on that truely goofy post.... there was only 5 when I looked a few minutes ago.
They were mostly indifferent... but this one made me chuckle: "Even through the lens of my bleeding-heart Seattle liberalness, I see nothing offensive here."

Perhaps I can clarify what goes through the minds of people who dress up their pets- they typically do it because they LIKE whatever culture from which they pick the pet costume.
I collect Japanese textiles, and I've thought (on occasion, not often) about dressing up my cat in a kimono for Halloween. Is that racist? No, the reason I got the idea is because I *LIKE* Japanese culture (especially their traditional clothing.)
I've seen people wearing almost identical "costumes" as the Chinese one- we have local stores run by Chinese-Americans who sell things like that. I've bought and worn them. Racist? Nope.
The people who scream "racist!" at completely non-racist things are devaluing the horror of true racism.

Still only five comments over there. Except for the first hand-wringing moonbat, who wrote a lengthy post that I skimmed quickly, the rest said pick your battles, lighten up, don't find offense under every rock.
