Yeah, my thoughts exactly. I thought this nation had learned its lesson about fighting "limited engagements" and other hand-tied-behind-the-back nonsense.

Every time this country gets into a conflict in the last forty years, it always seems to be this same crap. The politicians who are able to order the military around don't seem to get it. You're either "in it to win it" or you're not in it at all.

It always seems to get chalked up to "avoiding civilian casualties", "avoiding collateral damage", or "not enraging the street." Riiight. Because that's worked out so well, hasn't it?

Well, we decided firebombing villages full of civilians was a bad idea, although that's probably the safest route for our soldiers...

It's always a balancing act, presuming you care about not indiscriminately killing civilians.

Here, what you are actually looking at is how the USA’s military is cast into a “One World Communist Population Control System” otherwise known as “Global Government” for the Greater Good.
The truth is that all wars are fought over RESOURCE CONTROL. Let us remember what their ORIGINAL MISSION was in relation to what their STATED mission was. They were poised to attack in Afghanistan prior to 9-11. Why? In reality to protect a PIPELINE project and routes from Caspian Sea resources. We were told that the reason was Saddam, 9-11, Taliban, Alciada and Bin Laden.
The anniversary of the 9-11 attacks has just passed us by once again and for me there is NO CLOSURE. I don’t see Bush as a true Republican since I believe that both parties have been taken over by Communist fools. Don’t forget that Bush flew over to China to watch the 2008 drummers and now we see Obama moving all production to China while the USA dies.
Remember that it was a long and protracted war engagement in Afghanistan that broke the USSR. 10 years in Afghanistan finished the Soviet Union who also had that little REACTOR issue. We are watching a similar sort of destruction but the USA is experiencing a controlled descent into a Global Government.

In the USA the PRESIDENT is the Commander-in-chief of the entire military. In reality, it is unrealistic and improper to elect anyone to the highest office that does not have actual MILITARY experience.

Americans at some point must accept the truth that a bunch of money and power grubbing lawyers making a career out of what should be a DUTY to serve one's country must be arrested.

As far as I can tell the Government has been hijacked and these creatures foisted before us are in no way representative of the actual population.

Resources like water, fertile land, energy and slaves are the building blocks of any society as well as the basic motivation for WAR.

Why did we go to Iraq and Afghanistan? Why are we still there? Here I am not talking about the DUTY of the soldiers to obey their orders. What is the actual motivation for loading massive amounts of equipment and manpower into ships and dropping them in various lands that are not property of the USA?
