Glenn Beck Extends Olive Branch to Obamao White House
Posted by Gregory of Yardale at October 20, 2009 7:06 AM
While the White House continues a war on FoxNews that even Helen Thomas finds foolish and ill-advised, at least one FoxNews host (not named Shepard Smith) has tried to meet the White House halfway. In what was no doubt intended as a peace offering to Anita Dunn, Robert "Family Guy" Gibbs, Rahm Emmanuel, and Mao-loving Manufacturing Czar Ron Bloom, Glenn Beck dressed up his hotline guy in a Mao outfit.
Now, while it's unlikely that FoxNews or Glenn Beck is going to adopt the posture of genuflection that the Obama White House regarda as the only legitimate media position, give him credit for acknowledging the adoration this White House has for the communist murderer of 70,000,000 human beings.
Paraphrasing NRO, a Moonbat is someone who thinks there's nothing wrong with praising Mao as a great philosopher, but a crime against humanity to say that Donovan McNabb is a so-so quarterback.
Comments
I resent Glenn Beck making fun of me! ME! ME! The greatest philosopher the world has ever seen. Ever! EVER! And that includes Mother Teresa.

Obama loves Mao. Meantime, he is completely ignoring the Dalai Lama. Yep, sounds like a Nobel Peace Prize winner to me.

In the real world, Beck made an ass out of himself with his lame attempt (which has become a consistent tactic of Fox News) to truncate Dunn's statement. Sometimes all these assclowns need is just a bit more rope.

No he didn't. Just because you say so, doesn't make it so. Dunn's remarks are all over the radio, internet and TV in their entirety.

It's kind of like the "the Rev. Wright's comments were taken out of context" defense, because supposedly there is some context in which "g-dam America" is a positive, patriotic statement.
Similarly, in some crazy universe, "Chairman Mao is one of my favorite political philosophers" actually means, "I condemn Mao and all his atrocities."
The Obamunists claim Beck lies, but no one in the administration will take him up on his "Show us where we're wrong" challenge.

They'd love to say Dunn's comment was "tongue in cheek", V the K, but clearly her tongue was everywhere else but in her cheek, so...

Judith's right, her tongue was all over the place, but not in her cheek. But nice try, Reds, to dust off the Sheryl Crow "I was just kidding" defense, when in fact everyone knows perfectly well you were serious until you saw everyone laughing at you.
Meanwhile, is that a bus I hear starting up in the distance? Run, Anita, run!!

Thank God for Glenn Beck. He's melodramatic, and over the top, but one of the (very) few people in any form of medium who's willing to keep the Administration accountable - the function of the media.

Andy the clueless strikes out again

Actually Andy offering a "critic" like Dunn a private line to correct errors just PROVES how much of a typical communist liar Dunn is by her refusal to use it.
Your claim it was a common or lame stunt by Fox as usual just further proves how pitifully uneducated and weak your ability to deal with reality is. Dont worry honey I wont hold it against a cluless communist like you to much.
What you and your communist friends fail to understand, as usual, is that we know how retaded you are and how completely unable to deal with reality you are.
Your messiah is a failure, your ideas are constant failures, your lies are obvious, and you know it...
The best part is SO DO WE!!

I challenge Andy to cite the part of Anita Dunn's speech that Beck truncated that completely vindicates her expression of admiration for a communist who murdered 70,000,000 people.
Knowing full well, of course, that he cannot and will not.

Rubbish. He did nothing of the kind. I just viewed it again to see if your point had any validity. It doesn't. The clip runs uninterrupted for several minutes, with no evidence whatever of any creative editing. Mao is one of Dunn's two favorite political philosophers – her words – the two people that she "turns to most to basically deliver a simple point," which boils down to "be all you can be." Suppose an American had said one of his two favorite political philosophers was Alfred Rosenberg, who taught that you need room to live. No problem?
Face it, once again, you're defending the indefensible.

For my part, Beck's rather lengthy clip speaks for itself. It's not a five second phrase. If you think that Beck's clip misrepresents Dunn, produce evidence in support of this contention.

Andy, you useless fucking puke. Why do you even bother coming here? All you do is constantly embarrass yourself and get the proverbial shit beat out of you by the other posters here because you have the IQ of a gnat.
Is it because you're collecting a paycheck from MoveOn.org for trolling like Ghost of Wellstoned?

I wanted to beat up on poor retarded andy, but as I continued to read (and laugh!), I see it's no longer necessary. Good work all.
If he hates Beck, that's just more reason to like Beck.
