Even France Disgusted by Obama's Appeasement

Posted by Van Helsing at October 4, 2009 1:56 PM

Prior to the Ascension of the Moonbat Messiah, this would have qualified as a Man Bites Dog story — France has chastised the USA for its foreign policy of spineless appeasement. Charles Krauthammer quotes Sarkozy:

President Obama, I support the Americans' outstretched hand. But what did the international community gain from these offers of dialogue? Nothing.

Despite Comrade Obama's willingness to sacrifice our Polish and Czech allies to the Russian bear, the menace formerly known as the Soviet Union remains highly unlikely to participate meaningfully in sanctions against Iran, as if sanctions had any chance of preventing the terrorist mullahs from acquiring nukes anyway. While presiding over the UN Security Council, Chairman Zero suppressed revelations of Iran's illegal uranium enrichment facility near Qom in favor of adolescent blather about a nuclear-free world.

Krauthammer comments:

Confusing ends and means, the Obama administration strives mightily for shows of allied unity, good feeling, and pious concern about Iran's nuclear program — whereas the real objective is stopping that program. This feel-good posturing is worse than useless, because all the time spent achieving gestures is precious time granted Iran to finish its race to acquire the bomb.

But in Liberal Land, consequences don't matter; only sanctimonious poses count. Without assuming pure evil as a motive, how else to explain the continued expansion of entitlement programs that only increase poverty, or global warming legislation that would cripple the economy but have no effect whatsoever on the climate?

Here's why BHO didn't use the opportunity to hold Iran's feet to the fire over Qom:

"The administration told the French," reports the Wall Street Journal, "that it didn't want to 'spoil the image of success' for Mr. Obama's debut at the U.N."

It's all for show. There is nothing sincere about the Moonbat Messiah or those who support him that could withstand exposure to daylight.

Krauthammer's right. He's worse than useless. They could put a cardboaerd cutout with a dopey grin in the oval office and nobody would notice a difference. Duck and cover.

I'm a loser

Is it even possible to vote out enough Democrats in 2010 to impeach this useless sack?

Posted by: Nancy at October 4, 2009 3:21 PM

"...didn't want to spoil the image of success..."

The IMAGE. Of SUCCESS. That's what's important? Wait. Did he ever have some image that could be described as successful? What did I miss?

Why did BO take a plane to Denmark? With all the hot air he emits on a daily basis.

Posted by: DeeDee at October 4, 2009 3:54 PM

It's not appeasement.....he is a chicken shit that hasn't a clue.

IMPEACH!

Posted by: Dave at October 4, 2009 4:17 PM

Of course we have learned by now, even druging and raping a 13 year old child, will not tarnish THE IMAGE, in the eyes of some people.

Posted by: Gregory of Prescott at October 4, 2009 4:50 PM

Nancy, impeach him for what? He has committed no high crimes or misdemeanors. Plus, you have to take 40 seats in the House and 20+ in the Senate. So good luck.

Posted by: Anonymous at October 4, 2009 5:06 PM

Barack Obama the all time worse president in americas over 200 year hisrory and you wont here this from the NEW YORK SLIMES,WASHINGTON COMPOST,BOSTON SLOB,ATLANTA URINAL.CONSTIPATION,SLIME,NEWSREEK, or any of the talking heads

Posted by: SPURWING PLOVER at October 4, 2009 5:14 PM

He has committed no high crimes or misdemeanors.

It's true. He hasn't even done that. He did pick out a dog, and have a white cop over for a beer with a black "professor." That's about it.

Posted by: Jay Guevara at October 4, 2009 5:30 PM

No high crimes or misdemeanors that we know of YET. Can't hide 'em forever.

Posted by: Anonymous at October 4, 2009 5:41 PM

Plus, you have to take 40 seats in the House and 20+ in the Senate. So good luck.

Luck will have nothing to do with it when your side is practically handing us more seats each time your un-American pols open their fat mouths.

Thank you. Please, make sure your side keeps spewing their horrendous bile and idiocy. It is just driving more people to our side.

Isn't sedition still an impeachable offense?

Posted by: Where's your Messiah now? at October 4, 2009 6:01 PM

Impeachment happens in the House. If voted for, a trial takes place in the Senate....It ain't gonna happen (at least not so far). Get just enough seats in '10 to maintain gridlock until '12. At least if nothing is happening in D.C., no further threats to life, liberty, and property can be rammed down our throats.

No man's life, liberty, or property is safe while Congress is in session

Isn't sedition still an impeachable offense?

Why Yes 'Sedition" is, and with luck the "One's" Accorn connection will show the extent of his corruption. For the mean time, we can just let him show his room temperature I.Q. and Laugh at Biden

All along we thought Biden was the dunce, now we find out Biden is the smart one of the pair.

2010 election...prepare to use video to capture right wing heads exploding when they realize what has happened. It will be a sight to behold.

French president sarkozy is dead right we have a muslim guy by the name of Obama and he will lead us all right into hell.

1. A Real move to have a global currency coming right to you.
2. obama is all for the ideals of total black facism and all its ideals here inside the USA
3. Obama is leading our military right into a dead end war that will end up as a total defeat and that is what this muslim wants the USA In total civil war so he and his friends can make a killing move just as it was planned by the bin laden monkeys. soon many people will understand this fact but by the time the camps will be full of the American people and this nation will be full of third world monkey to do the real bidding of evil doers like this banana terrorists obama.

Posted by: Fred Dawes at October 4, 2009 8:22 PM

You may actually be the biggest tool around here."Obama is leading our military right into a dead end war", you do realize the wars we are in started in 2001 and 2003, right? The has been stating that exact sentiment since they began, only to be called "un-patriotic" or "un American"

Further," by the time the camps will be full of the American people", you apparently listen/watch Beck, but must have missed the one where he even backed off that remark. Yet, ya know what, wanna know who is still living in camps and trailers, the poor , the foreclosed and scattered Katrina victims.

So, you would be a hall of fame idiot, you are even criticized by the right-wingers here for your blatant race fueled comments and paranoid rants. At least when the natives here and I get into it it's over policy, or some meaningless piece of news.

Posted by: Ghost of Wellstone at October 4, 2009 9:05 PM

Have no doubt about it, the following comment IS racist, but its funny as hell (just know that my skin is brown too)...
...Did you know that obama is actually a white man? It turns out that he's so full of shit that his skin is brown. lmao.

Posted by: obamasux at October 4, 2009 9:49 PM

I'm going to hell for that huh?

Posted by: obamasux at October 4, 2009 9:51 PM

Fred Dawes. Mouth diarrhea. He does not represent the regulars here (as far as I'm concerned).

Posted by: AmericanToTheCore at October 4, 2009 10:06 PM

Posted by: mega at October 4, 2009 10:11 PM

I don't know who Fred is trying to convince with all his monkey talk. The last time I read someone referring to other human beings as monkeys, it was something written by a Muslim leader about the Jews. I hope none of my fellow Catholics will mind if I take the liberty of speaking for all Catholics here--human beings are made in the image and likeness of God, Mr. Dawes, so stop insulting God.

Prior to the vote, French President Sarkozy spoke to the council, but it was really a direct address to Obama. It is really a sad state of affairs when the President of France thinks we are weak and indecisive:

Posted by: TED at October 4, 2009 7:18 PM

This truely is sad. The emperor is wearing clothes but it turns out it's a nighty with fish nets and granny panties. The emperor has no balls. Zero thought that he had a pubic hair once, but then he pee'd out of it.

Once Iran gets a nuke, the mullahs will use this as leverage for extortion, at the very least.

Posted by: RICH at October 5, 2009 6:19 AM

There's that annoying whine again. Anyone else hear it?

Posted by: Jay Guevara at October 5, 2009 8:44 AM

What is a poor moonbat to do, when France whom they've sought to emulate for so long, spurns their messiah like a whorish lover?

Oh, the humanity!

Posted by: J at October 5, 2009 8:50 AM

Why can't we just trade Obama for Sarkozy? Obama would fit in much better with the French people, and we get a sane leader with a hot wife.
