Even Beeb Admits There Is No Global Warming

Posted by Van Helsing at October 11, 2009 1:25 PM

You can stick a fork in the global warming hoax. Even the BBC — moonbatty Britain's government-run liberal propaganda service — admits that for the last decade, there has been no global warming, man-made or otherwise:

For the last 11 years we have not observed any increase in global temperatures.
And our climate models did not forecast it, even though man-made carbon dioxide, the gas thought to be responsible for warming our planet, has continued to rise.
So what on Earth is going on?

A swindle is what's going on. No one can predict with accuracy what the weather will be like next weekend, never mind 50 years from now. The only things we know for sure are that the climate has always fluctuated naturally, that there is zero evidence CO2 is harmful, and that Al Gore et al. are lying scoundrels.

Attempts by the liberal media to salvage its last shreds of credibility by admitting to the cooler weather we can all observe for ourselves won't prevent villainous politicians from looting us and destroying our standard of living. But they are going to have to do it without hiding behind the environmental fig leaf, which is as much a farce as Chairman Zero's Nobel Prize.

On a tip from Charles O.

Comments

I'm thinking that EARTH is going on. Just as she has for a few gazillion eons or more.

It's a good thing that AlGore has garnered all the trumped-up, bogus awards he needs for awhile, huh?

This bit of truth won't last long at the BBC, you can count on that. There will be a "correction" and/or "retraction" very, very soon after they get called to the mat by ManBearPig, Comrade Zero, and the UN...

BO's Scum-in-Chief for man-made GW, Steven Chu has been running around giving talks to liberal academicians, happy to put their brains on hold for 50 minutes.

Chu presents government-sponsored CO2 data for about 12 seconds and then launches into fear, warnings and slapstick (i.e., "everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but not their own facts"-- a real knee slapper if I've ever heard one.) for the rest of the lecture.
He plays to packed halls of nodding heads and supercilious smiles, and for the most part goes unchallenged in any rigorous way about tangible empirical evidence for CO2-linked greenhouse effects.

As I've mentioned here before, when all the data comes from one side, i.e., from academic/government-sponsored hypotheses, the dissent is short-handed.

Psuedo-scientific propaganda and tax-funded confirmatory research are supported by Chu and me, respectively; (thank you, a real knee slapper if I do say so). This is support tossed to the liberal academic elite and their phony grant-receiving green-business counterparts.

Meanwhile, cap and trade is a practically a done deal.

The kool-aid out of the toilet-drinking RINO, Lindsey Graham, just signed on.

Speaking of Global Warming-mongering propaganda.......

As found at Watts Up With That - and on YouTube...

Gotta watch, because, after all, 'its all for the children......'

The most fascinating part will be in a few years when this will be denounced officially as a hoax, the number of politicians flip flopping or running out of the spotlight like cockroaches.

Just like the US MSM was pining about the coming 'ICE AGE' in the 1970's................

The MSM will never hold the Pols to the fire. Too many of the current crop of 'fresh out of school' reporters are already 'socialized' not to question the authority of the left.........

"that there is zero evidence CO2 is harmful"

Fill your house with it if its s not harmful. Actually, for all I can tell, you folks have been huffing it for years.

Somebody should write a book on why people so willingly believe propaganda instead of the truth.

But then again, this blog rants against Cultural Marxism and at the same time supports the people who created it.

Go figure.

What a bizarre world.

I'll gladly fill my house with C02 as long as you fill yours with CO...

Dont expect this to appear on the front pages of the NEW YORK SLIMES,WASHINGTON COMPOST,ATLANTA URINAL CONSTIPATION,CHICAGO TRASHBIN,SLIME,NEWSREEK,NATIONAL GEOGRAFAKE, or any of the liberal birdcage linners

"as long as you fill yours with CO"

As stated, your furnace has likely not been venting correctly for quite some time. Its difficult to tell since the flushed faces, high blood pressure and hand flapping of those on the right is easy to mis-diagnose as CO2 poisoning.

Perhaps they're one in the same? To be a moonbattery fan, one first has to be subjected to poor ventilation?

Yawn.......... that last post was lame.

Too much of any natural, normally harmless gas, is potentially dangerous. You do realize that overexposure to Oxygen can be debilitating, even deadly?

Oxygen is actually a poison. It is corrosive. The original source of life is Co2. It is thought that many life forms are derived from organisms that employed a complex and unwieldy process to switch from Co2 consumption, to O2, by default and necessity, due to rising levels of deadly oxygen, during the paleozoic. Plants still employ the simpler Co2 process.

Ha! Huffing CO2! I think you mean EXHALING CO2, don't you? What a moron!

A bit of excess CO2 doesn't even come close to comparing to the reefer fumes that your kind has been willingly inhaling for decades. Put the bong down, and there might be hope for you yet.

Posted by: Anonymous Countermoonbat at October 11, 2009 6:01 PM

Anonymous, if you understood anything about ecology, you'd know that animals exhale C02 as a necessary part of respiration. That CO2 is used by plants, which in turn produce 02 for us to breathe. It's the circle of life, you nut.

Posted by: Judith M. at October 11, 2009 6:08 PM

"Huffing" CO2?
Depending on the amount, that would immediately either kill you or give you a bad cough.

A "bit" of excess CO2?
That's the kind of precision Steven Chu spews (BO's Global Warming Czar).

Posted by: Fiberal at October 11, 2009 6:40 PM

Exactly, Fiberal. What constitutes "excess" CO2? Nobody can really say exactly, can they, much less what a "bit" of excess CO2 would be?

Posted by: Judith M. at October 11, 2009 7:46 PM

Hmmm, so we were headed for global warming and then around 1999-2000, we started a cooling trend. Well, you know what happened in 2000 don't you?

Thus, the obvious cause: Bush's fault.

I mean, if the Bush-Cheney-Rove 3-headed monster can come up with an evil machine which creates Hurricanes to hit specific areas of the United States to hurt a certain population/race, I am sure they also could come up with a global cooling machine as well.

Plus, Bush is so evil, he KNEW Gore was going to go full-on Goracle, so, instead of boning up with a speech therapist on how to properly pronounce words such as nuclear, he spent his time creating his evil global cooling machine to f@ck over Al Gore.

The normal accepted level of CO2 in the atmosphere is at 380ppm. Commonly, in enclosed places (your house/basement) the level of CO2 will be upwards of 600ppm. CO2 is not dangerous to breathing animals until the level reaches about 80,000ppm, even then it is not deadly for quite some time. If it were possible to create "greenhouse effect" by increasing CO2 levels, hundreds of companies would be selling invisible (to the human eye) LED lights and pumping CO2 into peoples homes and basements, at non-toxic levels, instead of using nasty sinful coal and oil to create heat. (hmm, gives me an idea for the next mousetrap) The fossil record shows CO2 levels exceeding 6000ppm, and the earth is still here. Temperature changes on Mars were similar to those on Earth, with no suv's there. Anthopomorphic Global warming is a HOAX! I won't list a reference because anyone can search for CO2 toxicity levels and get the facts. I should really work on that in your house greenhouse heating thing.

Posted by: Eric at October 11, 2009 9:09 PM

Okay, I shouldn't have said "no one knows" because Eric apparently does, but then again, he's not the one talking about a "bit of excess" CO2, which is understandable, since the difference between a normal quantity of CO2 and a dangerous quantity is a factor of over 10,000.

Here's what I'm thinking. If CO2 really were a problem, wouldn't the smartest thing to do be to plant a bunch of trees, which would convert the CO2 to oxygen? It seems so much easier on humanity than trying to destroy our economy and yet you never even hear it mentioned by the enviro-Nazis.

Posted by: Judith M. at October 12, 2009 3:56 AM

Judith,
Actually, since CO2 is necessary for the production of glucose in plant metabolism (O2 is a by-product) you might think that levels of global CO2 in the atmosphere, high enough to produce a runaway greenhouse effect, would also result in a widespread, runaway growth of plants. Such growth may include giganticism, along with many new varieties or species of plants.

But you don't see it and liberals prefer not to discuss it.

CO2 is a perfect villain for liberals: invisible, esoteric, and harmless.

If it weren't CO2, it would be dihydrogen monoxide..... (H2O).

Posted by: Fiberal at October 12, 2009 7:07 AM

That was exactly my thinking, Fiberal. I've heard there is some evidence that plant vegetation does do better near places where CO2 is more highly concentrated in the air, but it never seems to result in anything bizarrely out of control as you might expect if CO2 were really reaching hazardous levels. Why not just let the CO2 levels do their thing and reap a more bountiful harvest when the crops come in? Oh wait, that would be good for humanity and provides no opportunity to harass people for being alive.

Better be careful with the dihydrogen monoxide talk, I'm sure there are only too many moonbats willing to take up that banner.

Posted by: Judith M. at October 12, 2009 8:59 AM

Talking CO2 and climate, the atmospheric CO2 level has been much higher than it is today when the global temperature was much lower.

In the book Heaven And Earth by Ian Plimer, Professor at the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences and Emeritus Professor of Earth Sciences at the University of Melbourne, he goes over all the factors that scientists know have contributed to climate in the geological past. You read that book and it really hits home what a crock and what charlatans are the IPCC and people like Al Gore. Heaven and Earth should be read by everyone.

Judith,

They already have. Penn & Teller show a bunch of moonbats at some protest or another, signing a petition to ban dihydrogen monoxide.

Point being that liberals will line up behind anything or anyone (!) if everyone else is doing it.
