Airstrip One Bans Parents From Watching Over Their Own Children

This is one from the "WTF You Have To Be Effing Essing Me" File, but it's apparently true. Big Brother's Government is now banning parents from supervising their own children in public parks unless they undergo a state background check.
A council has banned parents from supervising their children in public playgrounds until they have undergone criminal record checks.
Adults have been excluded from two adventure play areas in Watford, apart from a handful of council-vetted 'play rangers' who will assist youngsters, it emerged today.
Parents will be forced to watch their children from outside the perimeter fence.
Supposedly, the objective of this is to protect children from pedophiles. Because, using classic moonbat logic, they have concluded that parents are more likely to assault children in a public park than in their homes. (Perhaps, continuous home monitoring is Phase II.) Ironically, this is the same country that placed a young boy in the foster care of two homosexuals who repeatedly sexually assaulted him, and the child protection agency refused to investigate the initial allegations because the gay couple were considered "trophy care-providers." (Note, the preceding is an indictment of political correctness, not gaiety.)
