A Modest Proposal Regarding Upper Class Twit Alex Renton

In today's Morning Briefs I noted the words of English Upper Class Twit of the Year contestant Alex Renton, the misanthropic, Gaia-worshiping Guardian columnist who in his latest piece advocated for Chinese-style population controls in the advanced Western countries. "A cull of Australians or Americans would be at least 60 times as productive as one of Bangladeshis," says he.

David Thompson's has weighed in on Alex Renton's column. Out of respect for Van Helsing's blog standards, I won't repeat the last paragraph of Thompson's post, but I will say, it is a suggestion worth thinking about.
