U.S. Senate to California Farmers: Drop Dead

Demonstrating once again the moonbat priorities of the Demoncrat Senate majority, the Senate has voted to screw over hundreds of thousands of farmers and endanger our national food supply for the sake of a two-inch fish that probably isn't endangered anyway.

Because of the ruling of Moonbat Judge Oliver Wanger, millions of gallons of freshwater that could be growing crops and providing livelihoods to hundreds of thousands of people are washing uselessly into the sea. Farmers are facing bankruptcy and tens of thousands are out of work.

California's dingbat senators Dianne Feinstein and Babs "Ma'am" Boxer stood by and did nothing to correct this insanity. It took a Republican from South Carolina, Jim DeMint, to try and rescue California's farmers by proposing an amendment to restore water to the farmers in the San Joaquin valley. Guess what? Senate Demoncrats... including both dingbat senators from California... voted it down.

Update: Senior Dingbat Dianne Feinstein compares supplying Farmers with water to "Pear Harbor."

This is horrible, I've seen the reports on these droughts. How can they vote this down? Don't they know how much more expensive food will be if they destroy their crops? Who would willingly take these decisions? Total insanity!

I've seen this televised, people are starving there and yet they refuse to turn on the water over this stupid worthless tiny fish. Brought to you by the (hypocritical) "Party Of Compassion".

I read a report that said that even with these "save the fish measures," the delta smelt is still on a fast-track for extinction.

All in all, starving people of work and food is yielding NO benefit. More government awesomeness.

There is no state bleeding (losing) population faster than California and you can bet your last dollar the folks leaving are the ones who actually pay taxes not the people enjoying one of the nation's most bountiful welfare states. So many have left in the past decade that Cali is perilously close to losing a House seat after 2010 and most surely will lose one, at least, in 2020. I left in '99 after 39 years there. The state has been destroyed by liberalism.

Our pukefaced senators every darn one of them deserve to be stranded on a desert island for life they have chose a worthless two inch fish i hope next year every one of these skunks get booted out of office

I fail to see where this could be saving or creating jobs. Seems this would be one of the biggest and easiest way for California to get folks off the unemployment lines.

Posted by: Wineplz at September 23, 2009 7:41 AM

Liberals will rather save a two inch fish than their own population. If this is not done on purpose, can anyone explain the thinking to me?

Posted by: Jay B at September 23, 2009 7:47 AM

Maybe give all the welfare bums in California a bucket and tell them to start carrying water so they don't starve. That way there is job creation and the little fishies are left to die a natural death. BUFFOONS!

So this is what life in a third world country is. Plenty of ressources, yet it disapears in the management and the administration. Who cares if people suffer from it? THEY aren't affected.

Posted by: Jay B at September 23, 2009 8:06 AM

Was she drunk when she spoke? Great googily moogily, how dense can a moonbat be? You're right Jay, resources everywhere, but you can't touch it, because we want you to use solar and wind? Well how about the water, you idiot libs?
Just keep on doing what you're doing, no harm in not growing food, right?

Posted by: UpNorth at September 23, 2009 8:24 AM

WTF?! She makes no sense! How is Pearl Harbor a comparison? Gawd she needs to retire.

That reminds me, there's a movement here at www.ReformCal.com to return CA Legislature back to part time. Hopefully it will be successful so we can slow down the politician's efforts to destroy our state (if it's not too late).

This is what happens when the original intent of the Constitution gets thrown out; ruination.

There should be no such thing as a federal Endangered Species Act.

so you Californians are now beginning to reap what you have sown. keep electing Democrats, but you better hope the Republicans don't regain national power and stop the bailouts. You Californians can no longer make it on your own.

Posted by: oldguy at September 23, 2009 11:16 AM

So the farmers in KALIFORNIA are suffering from a horrible drouth and these no good senators choose a stupid two inch fish? TIME TO MAKE SOME DEMACRATIC HEADS ROLL NEXT YEAR VOTE THE MISERBLE BUMS OUT EVERY ONE

Posted by: waterboy at September 23, 2009 8:07 PM
