Ted Kennedy, Renaissance Man

Even as our rulers' Cloward-Piven economic policy drives the dollar down toward worthlessness, some things are going up in value — gold and ammunition for two examples, Ted Kennedy's artwork for another:

In the few weeks since his death, paintings and prints by Sen. Edward M. Kennedy have increased in value — not quite to the point of, say, an undiscovered Picasso, but enough that a few people put them up for sale on eBay and had the artwork snapped up within days.
While the prices for these online-auctioned works ranged from just over $500 to more than $5,000, many who own original or silk-screened copies of the senator's seaside scenes and still lifes say no amount of money could persuade them to sell his art.

Yes, I can understand how they might feel that way.

Painting wasn't the Lion of the Left's only gift. Testifies Boston city councilor Rob Consalvo:

People didn't always see the whole man, they saw just the public man, the senator. But he was a gifted athlete, he loved to sing, and he could paint. He had an amazing number of talents – not the least of which was inspiring others.

He could even sing in Spanish. How's this for inspiring:

The world will never be the same without him.

Jose Cuervo handed out sample quart bottles that day.
He should have been a mariachi! He was drunk enough to wear a big Mexican hat and play one of those 500 lb guitars!

Ay yi yi yi, canta no iiore

Dirty drunken puke!

Hate to say it (not really, I LOVE to say it), but that looks like a paint-by-number.

Hey look, I'm a painter too!
