Self-Centered Harridan Whines About Being "Inconvenienced" by Soldier's Funeral Procession
Maybe we have forgotten about 9-11, or maybe some people are just too self-centered to ever honor the sacrifice of a soldier if it makes them a couple of minutes late for their shopping. This case from St. Louis, Missouri, makes me glad I don't associate with people like this:
The Jefferson County sheriff has offered a stern response to a woman complaining she was inconvenienced by a procession accompanying a soldier's casket.
The woman wrote an e-mail to Jefferson County Sheriff Glenn Boyer after she had a hard time driving around the procession escorting the casket of Sgt. William Woods, who was killed by Taliban fighters in Afghanistan.
The story includes the text of the Jezebel's email. Although I can't be certain she is of the left, her email reaks of the self-pitying victimhood so characteristic of that tribe.
Out of deference to VH, I can't use the words I'd really like to use to describe this witch, so I'm just going to have to bunt on this one.

Fixed, thanks.

This broad can't be too bright! She complains to the local sheriff, probably a military veteran himself or at the least a person with sympathy for the fallen soldier and his family. If this sheriff were anything like the asshole I am, that woman would be on a list of potential DWI offenders and would be pulled over any time she was spotted by any of my officers. Of course, if she broke the law and was doing 36 in a 35, we call that speeding where I come from.
If she's so good at letter writing maybe she ought to write an apology to the county and to the family for being so damn selfish. Stupid can't be helped.

To be fair, she seemed to be mostly pissed about the bikers escorting the procession in an aggressive manor. That being said, I'd of told her tough shit but I would have put the word out quietly that the "escorts" should be more gentle.

I think her name is andy anonymous.

vonster, the bikers only accosted her after she pulled into an intersection and tried to cut off the procession. And my spidey sense tells me that her description of their behavior is self-serving with many glaring omissions.

The Vietnam Vet angle was the big bonus. Those guys really know the meaning of "brothers in arms" and I, for one, appreciate that to no end. My father served in Vietnam and I'm retiring from the Army this month.
It is crucially important that our personnel serving in our defense today and in the future never have to experience the lack of gratitude that our Vietnam veterans suffered, to say nothing of the outright abuse and neglect. Those old timers are still standing up for what's right and best about this country even though they themselves were let down long ago. We should all be as proud of them as the man they helped honor.
As for the complaining motorist, I doubt it could have been said any better than the response from Sheriff Boyer.

In addition to being a self-centered female dog, she doesn't seem to have very good command of the English language.

Oh the response by the Sheriff is INCREDIBLE!!!!

Thank you Sgt. Woods for your service. RIP
And, thank you Sheriff Boyer for trying to set that nasty bitch straight.

It was probably the woman that Ghost of Wellstone knocked up and then bullied into an abortion because it would crimp his style.
Maybe she was on her way to another appointment?
Irony.
Thank you, soldier, for your sacrifice.

The sheriff's response is goldmine, it's simply perfect.

SK, check the posts on the pro-lifer that got killed today. So-stoned's having a bad day dealing with the truth.

vonster - One of the bikers she was complaining about was a relative of the soldier, that's why he was in the procession and was understandably ticked off.
btw - the only "agressive manor" I've ever seen was the unabomber's cabin. :>

Glory, glory. Well done, sheriff. That letter is a classic; instead of a cringing apology, he grits his teeth and tells it like it is though seething with anger. Your mamma would have been proud of you sheriff, I know I am.

All I gotta say to this lady is:Stick it where the sun don't shine! I wish I could know this sheriff. Hoo-ah!
