Punk Pilloried for Burning Flag
Even in the era of Hopey Change, justice sometimes prevails — as when a drunken punk was duct-taped to a flag pole for six hours for setting fire to Old Glory outside a VFW hall in Valley Falls, New York.
Post Commander Nick Normile hunted down the vandal and gave him several options, the least unappealing of which was to sit duct-taped to the pole wearing a sign describing his crime. Thanks to a youth soccer picnic, a long parade of children bore witness to his disgrace.
A lesson for moonbats: if you're going to burn a flag, do it on a college campus with your liberal professors smiling on; don't do it at a VFW hall.

Lawsuit from the ACLU against the Post Commandor in 3...2....1

NO lawsuit is possible. The punk willingly agreed to his humiliation. I guess the alternative of going to jail, or standing like a dipshit, being a dipshit was the easier choice.

Thank you for making my Monday morning.

Of course a lawsuit is possible and even probable. Lawyers will fight over this one, it's got video of the event. It's got the VFW guy admitting he did it. Now it just needs to be twisted in that special way that will make the future plantiff come off as sympathetic and wronged.

The moonbat lawyers will be eager to take this case on, and will probably try to argue that he had already been illegally assaulted by the VFW commander when the punk "chose" the punishment, not of his own will, but as a way of stopping the coercive assault.
Sadly, that VFW post will probably be seized in the name of moonbattery, unless the flag burning punk learned a lesson that day, and chooses not to sue.
I hope, for everyone's' sake, that the punk learned a lesson about freedom, and just what kind of sacrifices were made by patriots so that he even had the opportunity to throw a childish tantrum over being denied alcohol at a social function.

Another case of the citizenry having to take things in their own hands after the Supreme Court has ruled that they are not allowed to keep the flag safe. What is that on his t-shirt? It looks like Arabic or some approximation thereof. If so, this treatment is even more appropriate. Bravo to the VFW. Good luck to the ACLU getting a jury that will punish this man.

I'm not sure I'd have had the constraint to not pulverize this POS. Of course it would have been self defense.

Come on Chuck, taping a Liberal vandal to a flagpole with a sign around his neck is a lot better than breaking his nose.

Any rotten trial lawyer who files a suit in the punks behaf should have some drive a abrams tank over his lexus

Think of all the time, cost, effort and lost work that would have been involved if the disgracefull criminal had been handed over to the police, and the puke would have considered his conviction (If convicted) as a badge of HONOR. That veteran should be COMMENDED for doing a public service!

It's interesting that the initial reason for the vandal's anger didn't have anything at all to do with patriotism, dissent, liberty, protest, or any of those other high-minded terms.
He was drunk, wanted more, and they refused on the grounds that it would have been illegal to serve him without ID.
So he retaliated by poking a hornet nest with a stick. Dumb, dumb, dumb.
This is why I steer clear of alcohol entirely. It makes you do stupid things.
