Open Thread: Lions and Lamb Edition

Here's a space for general discussion and for tips to the overwhelming flood of leftist idiocy that pervades our modern world. I am sure I speak for VH when I say that we both wish we had time and space to give all your worthy tips the attention they deserve.

This story should make you feel a bit more uplifted, a little hope and cuteness to hold the madness at bay for a little while, on a peaceful Sunday afternoon.

Animal Planet is reporting the bobcat kitten was rescued near Arnold Schwarzeneggers ranch, where it was dehydrated and near death. They rescued the fawn during last weeks wildfire. Although wild animals, especially of separate species, are never placed together due to regulations, in this emergency situation, they had no choice. During the mayhem of the fire, they were forced to put animals anywhere they could, since they had run out of crates large enough for the fawn. The kitten ran to the fawn, and it was instant bonding.

Nice!!!

This reminds when I first brought the Chopper home. Sam, my male cat, took a liking to him within a day. Now these two are the bestest of buds. I don't need to watch TV upon returning from work because these two provide some side splitting entertainment chasing each other all over the house. The funniest thing is to watch Sam juke The Chopper when rounding the corners.

Thanks for this heart warming post, Gregory.

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW............

Oh yea, My eldest cat, Dusty, thinks these two are a bunch of idiots. She just sits on her throne hissing and spitting as they pass.

Now way, man. That bobcat is going to have some stiff competition. ;-)

They look delicious.

Thanks for the awwwwwww moment, Gregory. With all the turmoil going everywhere, it's nice just to see something and forget all trials of life even for just a few moments.

Now, since this is an open thread, heeeeee's baaaaaaccccccck! Sunday Night Football with Al Michaels on play by play and Cris Collinsworth on commentary in the booth. But on pre-game show, we have Bob "Candlelight" Costas, and Keith Odorman--good grief, can't he take the weekend off?

Bob Costas is at least tolerable, is a good interviewer and a great story teller. I remember a Olympics broadcast (Atlanta Summer Oylmpics, as I recall) where he told the story of the Munich Olympics and the massacre of the Isreali athletes, very well done, touching, without being maudlin.

But Odorman? Gawd, what a grand scale dork of epic proportions. His shoe size exceeds his IQ by at least a factor of ten.

Graycat - you have a stronger stomach than I. I've watched the game - but the second Ogglemann appears on the screen I find the off-button.

Thanks ATTC...I'll try to figure this out. Any problems I'll ask for guidance.

Blago administration "go to" guy found dead due to "aspirin overdose"

When asked for comment, Vince Foster said "Yea, that happens sometimes"

Indoctronation works, if you can get em while they're young enough....

Just like the Libs would do with our children....
