Obama FCC Diversity Czar: "We're in a position where you have to say who is going to step down so someone else can have power."
Mark Lloyd --- Chairman Zero's FCC Diversity Czar --- the guy who praised Hugo Chavez for shutting down opposition media --- advocates the use of government power to redistribute media access away from those who the government thinks shouldn't have it, and toward those whom it thinks should.
And the fact of the matter is that there are a limited number of those (media) positions. And unless we are conscious of the need to have more people of color, gays, other people in those positions we will not change the problem. ... We're in a position where you have to say who is going to step down so someone else can have power.
Not only that, he thinks that silly First Amendment thing is over-rated:
"It should be clear by now that my focus here is not freedom of speech or the press. This freedom is all too often an exaggeration. At the very least, blind references to freedom of speech or the press serve as a distraction from the critical examination of other communications policies."
A distraction, in other words, from using race-based preferences to create a communications infrastructure in which opposition to the Obama Regime can be suppressed.
"Bush had czars, too," the leftist nitwits will simper. OK, how many of Bush's czars were power-crazed radical Marxists and grievance-obsessed racists?

"We're in a position where you have to say who is going to step down so someone else can have power." It's hard to be clearer. Bammie's racist czar wants whitey out to put liberals everywhere. Is this administration trying to go to new lows every day? Go ahead Trolls, call me racist if you want but I'd love to see anyone defending this.

There are not enough white people working for Black Entertainment Television. Time to ask some to step down so white people can have some of those jobs.

Very good point Anon... what about BET? There is not a single white person in there, isn't that blatant racism? How would people react to a strictly white channel? Even when pointed the very equivalent (BET), the media would be in a frenzy and we'd get wall to wall coverage, complete with backdrops of KKK burning crosses.

Translation: We're going to shut down whitey's talk radio station, so we can redistribute it to blackey.
I guess we shouldn't be surprised that this is coming from a guy who applauded Hugo Chavez's takeover of the Venezuelan media. O and his gang do love their commie dictators.

He really doesn't get capitalism. He sees the broadcast market as a fixed size pie, and when Rush gets a big piece of pie, there's less for others.
At least in my city, there are plenty of under-used AM frequencies. Have something compelling to say, maybe in spanish or arabic or ebonics? Start your own broadcast network. Air America found some stations. The airspace is available - all you need is something compelling to say.

This is where leftists always expose themselves.
They are fully aware that no one will willingly subscribe to their their political philosophy.
It must be forced onto an unwilling public through coercion.
They are also aware, that their political philosophy is incapable of withstanding debate, and that silencing critics is the only way they can win the war of ideas.

The Obamunists are just chomping on the bit to go down the road that their friend in Venezuela has paved for them. Now Obama is talking about bailing out his lapdog newspapers that are failing miserably. I am sure there would be no quid pro quo in that transaction. I guess they could not be anymore in the tank for Obama than they already are, so they might as well get paid for the propaganda they print.

Alan, that's not the point. Even if they have something compelling to say, the object is to silence their critics, period.

"KILL WHITEY
I'm done hiring white people. Nothing against them, personally, of course. They're a dependable, hardworking lot. Those I've hired for my films and TV shows have been a great bunch.
But they ARE white...
The more I think about it, white employees can be a lot of trouble. Right now, the white person in the office next to me is playing an Eagles CD. That person's gotta go... So they've all gotta go. From now on, whitey don't work here no more."
