Nancy Pelosi Bans Patriotic Music

So no one should be surprised that Nasty Pelousy has put the kibosh on patriotic music. From The New Ledger:
If you've ever been stuck on hold with a congressional office in the past, at least you've been able to enjoy some good patriotic music, as opposed to the lilting tones of generic smooth jazz that have been driving elevator users insane for decades. For years, congressional offices have played patriotic anthems as the background music during hold times.
Not any more. After we were startled by the hold music when we called a House office recently, sources on Capitol Hill informed us this week that the Democratic House leadership has made a sweeping decision that congressional offices now have the options of "smooth jazz" elevator music or no music at all.
But The Star-Spangled Banner can still be sung at baseball games — at least until MLB gets "bailed out."
Pelousy et al. must have thought patriotic music helped stoke the rage of constituents who call in because they cannot tolerate what these leftist traitors are doing to our country. Better the peasants should be lulled into a nauseous somnolence. Obama's Science Czar John Holdren, who has advocated putting sterilants in our drinking water, is probably working on a way to accomplish this pharmaceutically.

Some Southeners complained after performance of DIXIE was banned in many cities. We were told that the song was "racist" and that we should be "reasonable".

Being that Nazi Pelousy with all of her San Fransisco charm made the decision, it could be a lot worse. At least they didn't just put microphones in Barny Fwank's basement and let callers listen to his boyfriend make him squeal like a pig. They could call it Smooth Jizz.
Perhaps they will rotate between that and leaving Helen Thomas' mic on while she's on the can for the caller's listening pleasure.

More paranoia from the fullmooners. It was changed only for the recess to allow offices a greater choice. The music is provided by a company called Muzak, which is normally the company which plays music in restaurants, dept.stores,etc. The decision had nothing to do with Nancy Pelosi,it was made by the CAO.
"The music was changed during recess as a pilot program in an attempt to offer offices a choice of hold music. [...]
This had nothing to do with the leadership — not in the beginning or the final outcome."

it was simple phone call. Muzak subscriptions are based on how channels would you like,& what genres. Many businesses get only 2, some get 10. Smooth Jazz does suck, it is not unpatriotic.

I think that most democrats are unpatriotic in the first place. Just follow their behavior. When calling our nations capital patriotic songs should play. You liberals have displayed far to much hatred for this country and a little patriotic music wouldn't hurt your image. By changing it just solidifies liberal motives for this nation in my opinion.
