I must at least give some KUDOS for CNN covering it. Many media outlets hoped it would be a small gathering only and ignored it. Clearly, they hoped incorrectly. There's a big difference between conservative demonstrators and liberal ones - and it's demonstrated here. 3bus has it right - were this a liberal demonstration and Fox was reporting, they'd be getting assaulted with every epithet in the book, rudely, crudely and planned by the moonbats. These people are regular people by and large who want government out of their lives. Let's hope this is one of hundreds between now and 2013.

I saw a hand-painted sign either on this site or maybe, MM's. Anyway, the sign said it all to me -- "Silence Is Consent."

Whether the 'silence' is enforced or just a lack of interest, it serves to empower those who would take rights away from The People.

It is time we stood up and let political hacks know how we feel. It is time we stood up to those in the LSM (lamestreammedia) who would silence us through 'Censorship By Omission.'

It is time we stood up to the nutroots crowd who will shout us down and try to silence us on every, single, website. Even on the least important of sites (of which this is NOT one), the nutroots will use the same tried and true methods of baiting, pushing, calling of names (especially 'racist', 'KKK' and 'NAZI') and trying to get Conservatives to explode in anger so they can report us to -- Whomever.

They do it on the smallest website to the largest media outlets.

I say, it's time we called them on it. I say, it's time we called them what they are. It's no accident that Joe Wilson has become a household name. And a favorable one at that.

When someone is lying, it's okay to call them a liar. When someone is acting like a National Socialist, it's okay to point that out. When someone is falsely accusing Conservatives of being racist or whatever, it's okay to (verbally) punch them in the nose.

Remember something -- The Ten Commandments doesn't really address 'lying', the 9th Commandment speaks to a far more deadly, a far more insidious sin -- "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour."

Now I'm not particularly religious but I do have a great deal of respect for the people who wrote some of the great words of wisdom of ancient times.

People who falsely accuse, like liberals do to us all the time, are the lowest of the low. Lying? Uncool. Bearing 'False Witness'? Truly, a sin.

It's official: liberals are idiots, exhibit 7245. Trying to force Wilson to apologize publicly, or passing a resolution "admonishing" him, is stupid. He can then publicly tell the Dems to pound sand, which will almost guarantee he ends up on some future Republican ticket.

CNN is done with this administration. The MSM knows it needs to be betting the farm on Obama's presidency. If Obama fails and he gets ousted, the MSM will be nothing afterwards, it already spent its credibility and integrity a long time ago. So they need to lie as much as possible, even in the blatant truth.

Hi Guys and Gals, I've been camping in the woods over the weekend, so I missed coverage. Someone got the local paper this morning, and the DC tea was on the front page; but it was written by the NY Times. They said 10's of thousands. Was it really 2 million??? They also said that king zero observed by helicoptor. Otherwise, the article was fairly unbiased.

My extended married-into family said that Obama was the "scourge of the earth." That's when I confessed to being a teapartier. One of those crazies. Tooling around up north, I also saw signs in lawns and on barns in the teaparty fashion. "God save this land from Obama" as an example.

Oh, and also, one of the SIL's was a king zero voter, and she expressed deep regrets.
