The USA and the Catholic Church are similar in that they can only be destroyed from within. The same forces that wish to 'transform' America are the same as those that wish to destroy the Catholic Church. Just as America will survive only by pushing back the progressive agenda, the Catholic Church must purge itself of leftist infiltration.

The foundational and unwavering social issues in the Catholic Church are LIFE and FAMILY. It's no surprise that these are the two primary targets we see progressives attacking on a daily basis in our nation. Progressive leaders know full-well that these two issues must be taken for their agenda to be fully implemented.

The left has abortion. They're working on euthanasia. They encourage a 'duty to die.' They secretly still adore eugenics. They stalk the dignity and sacredness of LIFE like unrelenting wolves. And they continue to incrementally destroy the foundational institution of society: the FAMILY.

The forces that seek to destroy the Catholic Church haven't changed in 2000 years. The forces are evil. Similarities to the forces that wish to transform America are not difficult to see. It's the culture of life vs the culture of death. It's the age-old battle between good and evil.

Yes - All of those groups do exist. All of them are pushing an agenda directly in opposition to the Church (of all time). Yes that reaches all the way up into the Roman heirarchy. My view of the Church is that she became widely influenced by "liberation theology" in the '60s. That, coupled with (what's turned out to be) misapplication of Vatican II reforms, has created, in many areas, a non-specific church-like group. When the organization wants to support illegal immigration (sanctuary movement), or otherwise provide succor to illegals instead of providing them honorable transport back to their countries of origin; when the organization finds it more important to sing about "me" than "Him," we have a problem. When the organization overlooks the actions and pronouncements of the Nancy Pelosis, Ted Kennedys, and the other Catholics-in-name-only, it only serves to weaken Holy Mother Church.

I was disturbed by all of the "common good" and "social justice" terminology used on these websites, as well as the "Reflections on Sen. Kennedy" by Sr. Catherine Pinkerton on the www.NetworkLobby.org website. Sickening. No wonder there are so many cars with Obama stickers at the church I attend.

LMP - I suggest finding a church that recognizes God, and teaches Good News (Gospel) from the Bible rather than silly liberal gospel.

The Church has been around for over 2000 years, and is not going anywhere. The Church is not a big fan of change. The last big change of Vatican II 1962 This latest wave of blasphemy will pass.
