Moonbats Figure Out How to Get Normal Americans to Respect Chairman Zero

The plan is to wear shirts reading "Respect the President of the United States":

respect-the-farce-in-chief.jpg

Funny, I didn't see any moonbats wearing these shirts before their Messiah's ascension.

An alternative plan would be for Comrade Obama to do something, anything, that warrants respect. But rather than wait for that to happen, his acolytes made up some T-shirts.

On a tip from Refuter of Liberal Vermin.

Wow, on a red background too, typically liberal.

Respect the OFFICE of the president. However, if the guy sitting in the chair is destroying our Republic, I don't have to respect him.

VH, we don't have that kind of time.

Posted by: Jay Guevara at September 30, 2009 10:14 AM

That's very appropriate for an administration that is nothing but a show. Nothing substantial to offer, only bad slogans, lies and platitudes no one believes anymore.

Posted by: Jay B at September 30, 2009 10:18 AM

Lemme guess... the back says "Kick Me, I'm a Dumbass!"

Posted by: innominatus at September 30, 2009 10:30 AM

I put on the uniform and fought in a major war to earn my Right to respect the OFFICE of President of the United States. I do NOT, however, have to respect the person holding that office and I hereby declare I DON'T. I wish him no harm, nor do I wish harm to my country, but I will exercise my Rights to the day I die.

get one for the 2012 elections when the dems are OUTTA THERE!

Posted by: nancz at September 30, 2009 11:01 AM

Won't Obama's security force eventually make these obsolete by issuing government standard brown shirts?

Posted by: Anonymous Countermoonbat at September 30, 2009 11:28 AM

If you have to ask for respect, you won't get it. Respect MUST be earned.

Posted by: SPURWING PLOVER at September 30, 2009 11:52 AM

Although there are myrad reasons to respect Obama (that I won't bother to recite, given that he could cure cancer and still this site would find things to bitch about), the mere fact that you all seem so very concerned with reinforcing your 'he has done nothing to earn it' mantra gives me all sorts of happy vibes... guess you are sad about the most recent healthcare meetings? Public option was 2 votes from inclusion in the most conservative version of the bill! And getting ever closer to law.

As polling increasingly suggests overwhelming support for a public option (I mean actual polls, not FauxNews/Rasmussen ones, of course), and the far-right is increasingly marginalized as insane people... you guys need to make sure your echo chamber is primed full of your talking points...

Think it'll work? Think people will stop caring about their lack of healthcare, stop believing that the ability to speak to foreign leaders as if they are actual adults is a good thing, stop believing that.... you get the point.

Good luck with that... dance monkeys, dance.

Posted by: Hahahahaha at September 30, 2009 12:01 PM

Is SPURWING PLOVER one of those people who ate waaaay too much acid back in the 60's and never came back?

(Or is it just a 6th-grade-educated, population-representative "conservative"?)

Posted by: Anonymous at September 30, 2009 12:02 PM

Apparently you've never delved deeper into the details of you "real" polls. They skew heavily into registered Democrats... upwards of 80%.

Thus, what you claim to be "real" are, in fact, fabricated to fit your narrative.

Rasmussen has, for years and years and years, been respected as the leading poll analysts. Ignoring them would be like ignoring the CBO... oh wait, you already do that even though they have proven to be more accurate than internal "ITLL BE FREE" reports.

Posted by: AmericanToTheCore at September 30, 2009 12:06 PM

Also, you're advocating for "ZOMG WE NEEDZ HEALTHCARZE!>!?!" yet you don't realize that if you pushed for REAL job stimulation, the problem that your regulations have caused would clear up quite quickly.

Think about it... if you can't afford insurance, it's primarily those that are unemployed (your numbers always include those who can afford but choose not to, illegals, children, eligible for assistance but don't know).

Help with jobs then they have this thing called money. With that money, they can buy insurance.

See, we want to fix the problem... you want to fix the aftermath.

Posted by: AmericanToTheCore at September 30, 2009 12:09 PM

Then again, you come from the same people who argue that government revenues are too low so you increase taxes... even though higher taxes equate to less jobs. If you have less workers, you'll have less revenue (and you'll put MORE burden on LESS people).

Your logic is self-defeating and absolute insanity.

Posted by: AmericanToTheCore at September 30, 2009 12:11 PM

Hahahah.... funny, seems like you're the dancing monkey to me. Keep it up, we like it. The louder idiot trolls crow that their socialist nonsense is inevitable, the more we know we're on the right track.

Oh, and anon...

Spurwing is, at least in my estimation, a kind of mascot. He's harmless, hardly ever goes overboard, and his posts are hilarious if you read them outloud in the voice of a pissed off Arnold Schwarzeneggar.

Posted by: hiram at September 30, 2009 12:14 PM

Spurwing makes me laugh. I'd certainly put him in the category of a mascot (much like Hiram said) but not in the "point and laugh at him" way, more in the "point and laugh with him" way.

Often times (albeit broken English) he's right on the mark but does over-glorify things on occasion. Regardless, he's a welcome party here at Moonbattery.

Yet you failed to provide even one. Can you? Please respond by actually providing some real examples, rather than merely telling us you can do it.

After what the "Liberal" girlie-men and shrill hags subjected us to from 2000 until even after...The Emperor..(awesome music)was inaugurated, the release of these T-shirts seems an especially stupid and sissified ploy.

FIFY

guess you are sad about the most recent healthcare meetings? Public option was 2 votes from inclusion in the most conservative version of the bill! And getting ever closer to law.

I GUESS YOU MISSED THE PART WHERE MEMBERS OF YOUR OWN PARTY (DEMOCRATS) BANDED WITH REPUBLICANS TO DEFEAT IT. And just so you know, "left of center" may be MORE conservative than Obama's "far left agenda, but it's still not "Conservative" so you're really not saying much.

(I mean actual polls, not FauxNews/Rasmussen ones, of course)

OH! SO YOU MEAN THE POLLS BY LEFTWING OUTFITS, OF LEFTWING VOTERS, ARE THE ONLY ONES THAT COUNT THEN? WHATEVER. ATTC ALREADY COVERED THIS TALKING POINT

OH RLY? EVEN THOUGH THE TEA PARTIES ARE POPULATED BY THOUSANDS OF REPUBLICANS, DEMOCRATS, AND INDEPENDENTS OF ALL COLORS AND CREEDS, IN ALL 50 STATES. DOESN'T SOUND VERY MARGINALIZED TO ANYONE WITH A FUNCTIONING BRAIN

you guys need to make sure your echo chamber is primed full of your talking points

SORRY THERE'S ONLY ROOM FOR ONE ECHO CHAMBER AND ITS ALREADY BEING USED BY HOLLYWOOD, NYC, AND PBSABCNBCCBSCNNPMSNBC...YOUR TALKING POINTS HAVE BEEN EXACTLY THE SAME FOR THE PAST 8+ YEARS. YOU REALLY NEED TO GET SOME NEW MATERIAL.

lack of healthcare

EVEN THE UNINSURED & ILLEGAL ALIENS CAN GET TREATMENT AS IT IS NOW...THAT'S WHAT COUNTY HOSPITALS ARE FOR

speak to foreign leaders as if they are actual adults is a good thing

YEAH NIKOLAS SARKOZY, PRESIDENT OF FRANCE, IS REAL IMPRESSED (/SARC) AT COMRADE OBAMA, WHO SNUBS OUR ALLIES AND EMBRACES DICTATORS LIKE CHAVEZ, ZELAYA, AND CASTRO. DICTATORS MAY BE CHRONOLOGICAL ADULTS IN AGE, BUT THEY SURE DON'T ACT LIKE ADULTS.

MAYBE WHEN YOUR SIDE LEARNS HOW TO TALK TO OUR SIDE -- INSTEAD OF AT OR DOWN-TO OUR SIDE -- WITHOUT INSULTS, NAME-CALLING, OR THREATS, YOUR SIDE WILL HAVE AN ACTUAL OPINION ON HOW TO TREAT OTHERS. UNTIL THEN, YOU NEED TO STFU.

BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!!

Duval Patrick: We need more revenue.... let's raise taxes!

Legislature: YEA! Let's pass a bill that raises taxes 25%

People: NO!

Duval/Legislature: SCREW YOU! Taxes go up 25%

OOPS! First month after taxes go into effect revenues go down 200 million!

Duval/Legislature respond: People stopped spending money!

Ahhhhhhh Dopey Dems... you just can't make this stuff up.

Posted by: FreeWillie at September 30, 2009 2:38 PM

FreeWillie...

To continue your little spiel..

:: after revenues go down ::

Duval/Legislatute: Revenue down, NEEDZ MORE TAXUZ.

:: more people leave, revenues go down ::

Rinse and repeat.

Liberal logic, or lack thereof... REALLLLLY can't make this stuff up.

Just emailed them inquiring about available options:

Can I get one that says:
Respect the Office
Despise the current occupant.

Can I get one with a picture of George W. Bush on it along with the seal?

I want to be fair and give Bush the same respect you guys give Obama. Sure you would do the same. After all, fairness and tolerance of different ideas are hallmarks of a 'democracy' aren't they? I would also be interested in one with Obama on it that is a simple ambivalent grey.

If so I will need a size 2XX. Capitalism has been very good to me.

"Respect the President of the United States" ?
I DID, then they elected Obama.

Posted by: Dansak at September 30, 2009 3:56 PM

The hypocrisy is breath-taking. I don't hold with gratuitous, scurrilous public slurs of the President, regardless of party (this includes the President as Hitler kind of crap, or calls for assassination - liberals please note that this includes you and Bush).

Publicly criticizing the President is perfectly OK, again regardless of party. Even scurrilous slurs in private are OK, in my book, as everyone occasionally needs to let off steam.

But suddenly we're exhorted to "respect the President" by the very people who spent the last eight years heaping the most vile vituperation on a basically good and decent man, a man who did what he thought was best for the country, and who at no time lashed out at his critics, despite the provocation.

So, yes, respect this President, and also the next, and the next, and the next...even if you disagree with him. But also, don't let respect metastize into worship (Obamanauts please note).

Posted by: Jay Guevara at September 30, 2009 4:17 PM

"Respect" or "FEAR"?

Posted by: KHarn at September 30, 2009 4:26 PM

I try to give the current liar the same respect liberals showed Bush - but it's hard to hate anyone so badly. I can't hold a candle to a liberal when it comes down to good old institutionalized, legalized, in-your-face, shut-the-f*ck-up, bald-face, scream-out-loud hate.

Face it; liberals know how to hate and they do it copiously. Liberals are the hate-masters, and they are happy to teach the world what real hate is.

Unfortunately the world is learning.

Posted by: Jimbo at September 30, 2009 4:31 PM

Who are these Reds to tell me to respect anybody? For the last eight years I watched George Bush depicted as a leprichon or a monkey. Now I am told to respect Comrade Obama and if I decide to depict him as the Joker I am a racist to boot. The BLOODY REDS CAN GO BUGGER EACH OTHER.

Posted by: Bill S. at September 30, 2009 4:39 PM

Bill, I don't think they need any encouragement on that score.

Posted by: Jay Guevara at September 30, 2009 4:44 PM

@AmericaToTheCore...

Duval was on the TV tonight... crying that "We have no money and we will have to cut back... I'm proposing more taxes"....

LOOSER!

Posted by: FreeWillie at September 30, 2009 4:57 PM

Just to top off this string:

Ever notice how liberals wallow in filth?

The Gore Vidal/William F. Buckley clip (below) reminds how they were crap-headed in the 50's and how even more vile they've become now.

They're on their best behavior when guffawing about bodily excretions.
They're at their worst behavior the rest of the time.

That they've managed to get elected their God of Self as divine leader, pays tribute to decay.

Four years is a long time to hold one's nose.

Posted by: Fiberal at September 30, 2009 5:40 PM

Keep the slogan, substitute the Obama Joker face picture for the presidential seal on the shirt, order a gross, and pass them out to the homeless in your city.

Posted by: Clingtomyguns at September 30, 2009 7:25 PM

This shirt is truely increadable. How frigg'n hypocritical! Are liberals this stupid? Seriously, are liberals this stupid?

Posted by: funkendunkel at September 30, 2009 7:36 PM

How about a shirt that reads "Have respect for the office of the POTUS" and on the back it reads "...Because that's all we can do until we put the adults back in charge."
Until then I'll just stick with:
"Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be Happy" - Benjamin Franklin

Posted by: D_Rack at September 30, 2009 9:32 PM

Take a look at the oaths of allegiances:

The enlisted:
I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

The officers:
I, [name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.

The President:
I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

Notice the difference?

The president is only required to preserve, protect, and defend the constitution, TO THE BEST OF HIS ABILITY; There is no wording in his oath to protect against enemies, foreign, or domestic.

The enlisted are not permitted to act against the president, or their superior officers. The officers have sworn to act AGAINST anyone who acts against the Constitution, foreign, or domestic.

There is a coop coming, and I am happy about it. I will joyfully partake in taking this country back from the unworthy, preferably by vote, but by force if necessary.

Posted by: Eric at September 30, 2009 10:14 PM

By unworthy, I mean enemy, foreign or domestic.

Posted by: Eric at September 30, 2009 10:18 PM

You could not pay me to set one foot in Massachusetts. With every issue of Washington Times national weekly, there are letter to the editor from conservatives MA people. I feel so bad for them.

You couldn't pay me to wear that shirt, either. Look at the moonbat model, too. Typical pencil-neck with arms and shoulders skinnier than mine.
