Mao More Than Ever
Some Americans are still denial that a guy who appoints avowed communists to his circle of advisors, pursues massive government intervention in the economy, seeks to redistribute wealth, and sides with Marxist dictators like Castro and Chavez against the free people of a sovereign country ... is probably a socialist himself. But the Communist Chinese are under no such delusions.
Update: I am informed via NRO that the Chinese characters say "Serve the People!" — a Maoist slogan, and are written in Mao's calligraphy.

I just asked my wife about the characters. (She is originally from Hong Kong.) She can't see the last two characters in the wrinkle well enough to read them, but "For the people" is a rough translation of the rest. She's not sure if it's tongue in cheek sort of insult, or if the commies really like Obama.
