Commie President to Pursue Unilateral Disarmament
The leftist two-bong-hit pipe dream of the 1980's --- the unilateral disarmament of the United States --- is on the verge of becoming the official policy of the United States under the jug-eared Marxist radical in the White House. First, he has abandoned missile defense to ensure that the US is vulnerable to attack, now, he's ready to dismantle our nuclear deterrent, as the UK Guardian reports
Obama has rejected the Pentagon's first draft of the "nuclear posture review" as being too timid, and has called for a range of more far-reaching options consistent with his goal of eventually abolishing nuclear weapons altogether, according to European officials.
His intermediate goal is to cut the US nuclear arsenal from 2,100 warheads down to a few hundred, with global disarmament to follow. Yeah, good luck at getting the Russians, the Chinese, the Iranians, the Pakistanis and Venezuelans to drink the "No Nuke" bongwater with you, Jughead.

No wonder Obama doesn't care about a second term, he just wants to destroy the US as a superpower, as quickly as possible.

It's no wonder we're angry.

Exaggeration at a certain point is simply lying.

"I deleted brs's comment because I don't appreciate threadjacking. Stay on topic, please. "
I was responding to Mr. Evilwrench. Is making vague threats about shooting away political positions you disagree with "on topic" ?
And if it is, how can replying to it be off topic?
Posted by: brs at September 21, 2009 4:59 PM
brs, I'm onto your childish game. You can't refute the story, you can't defend the policy, so you pick a fight to derail the thread. It's tiresome.
Posted by: Gregory of Yardale at September 21, 2009 5:03 PM
"You can't refute the story". But I can sure refute the post, of which LITERALLY nothing is correct. You've reached a full-of-shitness so perfect, that you get nothing at all right. It's amazing, really.
1. Yeah - clearly he's outlawed free enterprise, or advocated such, so he's a communist. Got it.
2. He's advocating unilateral disarmament, because the above clearly indicates that he is proposing we get rid of our military. Nothing to refute there. Except that you LITERALLY refute yourself by saying he wants to keep a couple HUNDRED nucs. What damage could we really do with those? Shit, I'll call it unilateral disarmament, what the hell.
3. He's admitted to following Marx (see 1).
4. He's "abandoned missle defense" (not counting the kind he kept) because he literally is hoping for an attack. Nothing more to the descision than that.
I mean Christ - how short is this post? Did you say ANYTHING factual? Is ANY of it not a lie or wrong?
So yeah, clearly nothing to refute.

TROLLS are not here to debate, they are here to "T" you off and nothing more. No matter how good your argument complete with facts are it will NEVER be good enough. THAT is not the goal of a TROLL.
Never argue with a troll, he will sink you to his level of ignorance then beat you with seniority. (And yes brs, YOU made this ON TOPIC.

Well BRS, what about "jug-eared"? Got a problem with that, huh?
Posted by: Contrarian_Libertarian at September 21, 2009 5:41 PM
Obama is clearly a Marxist. He sides with Marxist dictators like Castro, Chavez, and Morales against the free people of Honduras. He had a key advisor, Van Jones, who was an avowed communist. He has in the past criticized the Constitution for not permitting the redistribution of wealth, a Marxist concept which he openly favors. His massive intervention in the economy includes the literal takeover of General Motors (60% Government owned), massive intervention in the financial sector up to and including government limits on executive pay, an admitted desire for a socialized single-payer health system, and constant attacks against insurance companies whose profits he has decided are "obscene." Meanwhile, there is not a single free-market policy in his administration. Not one. Zero.
And, yes, proposing the elimination of nuclear weapons is disarmament. And he has openly stated his desire for the complete elimination of nuclear weapons. He is making massive cuts to the military including the F-22 and the Combat Search and Rescue helicopter. He has canceled missile defense, and proposed no money in the defense budget for building the short/medium range defense he claims to favor... which would require the type of radar system he canceled in Czech Republic in order to be effective.
Not to mention, unilateral disarmament is precisely the position the far left, Marxist fringe has sought since the 1960's.
The post is accurate.

I wonder if the US has the technological expertise to create nuclear weapons today. Yes, I'm sure there are qualified technicians to care for and maintain the current arsenal, my question is how many Americans are being educated in the creation of new designs and processes while all the brilliant minds of the past are retiring. It seems to me there is a concerted effort on the part of the Obama administration to decrease certain areas of work in an effort to advance an agenda of non-aggressive socialistic "belonging" to the new world. This makes, at least for me, the opinion of the story above quite valid, and hence correct.
Posted by: Eric at September 21, 2009 5:51 PM
Eric, the Obama plan calls for a new generation of nuclear weapons to be designed, but never built. Much like his missile defense system. That's how he intends to deflect criticism that he's weak on defense, by making sure we have great weapons that will only exist on PowerPoint slides.

Communists aren't always about drab clothes, red banners, and seizing factories. They take a wide range of aproaches, and disguises, to achieve their goals. Communists will feign any ideology, and adopt any economic policy, as an expediency. They will join any party. They form, or join communist-lite parties, like "Socialist Whatever", "Whatever Socialist". "Progressive" and/or "Democratic" is often attached to the name. They operate within conservative, and pseudo-conservative parties, this includes Republican. One can identify a communist, usually, by their background or affiliations. Not always, though. Of course, your man lust for the Indonesian imbecile, and blind faith in the assurances of your "progressive" mentors, that the Ju-ju love stick "isn't a marxist", is sufficient for you to declare Hussein- "not a communist". After all, he's just not smashing the bourgeois pigs fast enough for the- "we're not socialists, really!", progressives. Communism is a virus. One that mutates, and adapts to suit the target host. Communism can weld itself to capitalism. It is versatile. The- "Look! I am, like, totally rocking it out as a capitalist!" routine is simply a means to an end. For the communist traveller, in it for the long haul, it is merely a connecting train on a different line, to the same destination. The communists, long ago, worked out the best method to take down the West...
Entryism.

Not unlike the stimulus package, huh Gregory? Great on paper, but no real actions to get people to work. I guess I shouldn't type that. They did just rip up the three year old perfect road in front of my apartment to replace it with new blacktop paid for with stimulus money. Replaced a perfectly good road for no reason other than to put a struggling big company in business (with it's ten employees) for another 3 months.

No one, not even Obama, can "uninvent" nuclear weapons. The day you completely eliminate nuclear weapons is the day you create the maximum incentive for someone to produce one.
The only sane policy is to have more and better weapon technologies than your potential enemies. The Democrat left has long had a deep suspicion of American strength and will continue to do what they can to level the playing field between us and the rest of the world. We are fools to put up with this level of incompetency.

I live in the DC area, Eric. And let me tell you, every road in sight is being re-paved. But as to actual infrastructure improvements? Nada.
I would much rather money was being spent on weapons systems to keep the country safe.

When they remake the movie "Dumb and Dumber", obonehead can play both parts.

This was bound to happen after the release of those "Obama" comic books. The chocolate jism fountain believes he really IS a marxist superhero. This is "SUPERMAN IV" all over again. A cluster**** of epic proportions, and a nightmare to sit through. Except instead of seizing ALL nuclear weapons, this "Man of Tommorow" is going planning to destroy just America's. Unfortunately, unlike "SUPERMAN IV", you are not able to walk out, and you're not going to get your money back.

From what?
Posted by: *yawn* at September 21, 2009 7:30 PM
From what?
Is this a trick question?
Do you remember what happened to us on a beautiful September morning eight years ago?
Do you remember WHY it happened?
It has something to do with the enemy's belief that we would be unable or unwilling to respond in-kind, even to such a blatant provocation as the slaughter of 3,000 innocent people in broad daylight.
Without the continued development and deployment of military technology, they're right. We won't be able to fight tomorrow's wars with yesterday's weapon systems. The F-22 is a fine example of a cutting-edge weapons platform which is versatile enough to be used in asymmetric warfare, as well as help maintain our traditional "total air superiority" in a conventional conflict.
As for nuclear weapons, if you do not understand the deterrent factor - if fifty years of playing chess with the Soviets didn't "learn you" the importance, then nothing I say here will matter.
I've about had it with left-wingers showing up on this forum or that one and insisting that there is no threat from other countries or stateless actors, or that what threat that does exist is purely a function of American "imperialism" and "jingoism" or whatever buzzword is popular these days. I will never understand why you people think we live in a world of rainbows, lollypops, and puppy kisses - or that only the big bad USA is preventing that from being reality.
Posted by: Cylar at September 21, 2009 10:54 PM
With the nuclear powers you named you left out Israel. Ironic no? In the future Israel may be dictating policy to the US. Mess with Israel much more and you might not like the outcome.

Like the most wise and inept President carter said,"if we demonstrate we are not agressive, then they wont want to be agressive and peace will prevail." Works every time its tried. Just like in the school yard, just like in the real world.
September 11 was a mistake that they didnt mean to do.
Uuuuhhh huh.
