Chaos, Destruction Expected as Moonbats Converge on Pittsburgh

An estimated 1.7 million patriots descended on Washington on 9/12, and left it looking at least as good as they found it. No one expects the same to hold true of the moonbats who will converge on Pittsburg for the G20 summit:

Barely a block from a parking lot where Pittsburgh will house protesters of the Group of 20 summit is one of the city's most eclectic neighborhoods — a strip of mom-and-pop, homegrown grocery stores, restaurants and businesses that exemplify the kind of world the protesters say they want.
However, fears of violent clashes, property damage or simply a traffic nightmare are forcing some businesses in the city's Strip District to close during the two-day summit — possibly even board up their windows — and miss what they say could potentially be a booming sales opportunity.
"We're a small mom-and-pop business and I'd rather lose business for two days than risk getting caught in something that could get violent," said Lisa Karsenic, owner of Two Louie's Market, a small deli and grocery store less than a block from the parking lot where protesters will gather. …
Thousands of people are expected to flock to Pittsburgh to protest everything from globalization, policies they view to be harmful to the environment, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and even mega-corporations, the types of businesses conspicuously absent in the Strip District. …
Then there are the rumors: shop windows have already been broken; human feces has been left at different establishments; dispersing the crowd in the evening from the parking lot will lead to clashes; protesters have nowhere to go out at night so they will cause trouble. …
Amy Rosenfield, owner of Mon Aimee Chocolat, a shop that specializes in artisan chocolates produced by people who work directly with plantations that grow organic beans, is concerned that broken store windows combined with autumn heat could — quite literally — melt away her inventory.

Moonbat groups have plans to target specific businesses for harassment and destruction for daring to participate in the American way of life. Armed forces recruiting stations are also expected to be hit.

Needless to say, no one felt the need to board up windows in DC, despite a vastly larger crowd of patriots. It isn't hard to distinguish the good guys from the bad guys.

I'm so glad I own the MSM and can direct them to report on these Right Wing terrorists descinding on Pittsburgh

Posted by: Barack Obama at September 21, 2009 10:02 AM

Not content to wait and report on what ACTUALLY happens, you feel the need to FABRICATE in anticipation. Amusing.

Posted by: Lao at September 21, 2009 10:07 AM

They're going to turn poor Pittsburgh into an utter shithole.

Posted by: Karin at September 21, 2009 10:09 AM

These people have a reputation already. It's reasonable to predict their behavior. Not that it's what we want, just what we expect. Wait and see.

"Not content to wait and report on what ACTUALLY happens, you feel the need to FABRICATE in anticipation. Amusing."

What the hell are you talking about? Do you know what a fabrication is? There's none here. Just quotes and links from an article about how some businesses are closing for the day in anticipation of trouble from protesters. Due to the fact that trust fund brat poser rebel "anarchists" habitually riot outside G20 summits. And have already targetted certain businesses for attack.

Mus be dat violence SanFranNan was sobbing about! You talk violence you've got to be talking about the leftist azzholes.

So, is Lao willing to put up any money on the bet that there will be no vandalism committed by the moonbat left in Pittsburgh?

Posted by: V the K at September 21, 2009 11:19 AM

Notice the difference between the two photos the unruly mob of hoodelums and thugs compaired to the peaceful tea party protesters there were no arrests at the tea parties but in PITTSBURGH the will fill up the jail

Posted by: SPURWING PLOVER at September 21, 2009 11:26 AM

"but in PITTSBURGH the will fill up the jail

Posted by: SPURWING PLOVER at September 21, 2009 11:26 AM"

They sure will. Pittsburgh is a heavily Democrat town, but the moonbats are likely to learn the hard way they aren't someplace like Oslo, San Francisco, London or Seattle when they start acting up.

You can't fabricate something that hasn't happened yet, Lao. This post FORECASTING what is likely to happen based on what we know about the hooligans that have attended these summits in the past. If they are peaceful, the forecast was wrong, and unlike left-wing sites, I don't think anyone here will deny reality and pretend like the town was wrecked if it wasn't.

"Then there are the rumors: shop windows have already been broken; human feces has been left at different establishments; dispersing the crowd in the evening from the parking lot will lead to clashes; protesters have nowhere to go out at night so they will cause trouble. …"

Rumours = fabrication.
"...will lead to clashes = fabrication.
"...so they will cause trouble." = fabrication.

Interesting how in the minds of posters here, everyone intending to protest in Pittsburgh gets tagged "anarchist", "leftist azzhole", "moonbat left", "hoodelums (sic) and thugs" and "hooligans".

What do I recall from last nights' Won't Get Fooled Again" posted here? The Norman Rockwell painting "Freedom of Speech", with the logo "Stand Up Dissent IS Patriotic" that concluded the slideshow.

Consistent in your views? I guess dissent is only "patriotic" if YOUR side does it. Vastly amusing.

Lao,

There's a difference between anticipating trouble based on previous bad behavior at similar events and "fabrication". Fabrication is making stuff up that didn't actually happen. That's in the past tense.

If the event goes off without a hitch and people make demonstrably false claims that there was destruction and violence, that would be a fabrication.

Oh, and I love that report from the University of Indiana that is linked to this story regarding the crowd size at the 9/12 demonstration. Pretty darn persuasive. I wonder why the MSM isn't all over it? (heh!)

Posted by: Judith M. at September 21, 2009 2:30 PM

The people in DC and Pittsburgh are protesting the same entity: The Globalist J Bankers.

You'll understand this when there's one world government and one currency.

But, go ahead and continue to pledge allegiance to your Left/Right dichotomy. That's exactly what they want you to do.

I'm going fishing.

Judith found the University report re 9/12 crowd size "pretty darn persuasive". I have this bridge to sell you.

Zac says 970,000 were at Obama's inauguration and shows aerial photos of the full mall and beyond with people everywhere.

He says 1,186,000 were at Promise Keepers and shows aerial photos of the full mall and beyond with more people everywhere.

He says 1,782,760 were at 9/12 based on his voodoo math analysis of videos of marchers on Pennsylvania Ave.

Please, please explain to me how 596,760 MORE people than at the Promise Keepers event which covered the ENTIRE mall and beyond, managed to squeeze into the area shown by this panorama.

http://iowntheworld.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/capitol-view-lo-res.jpg

That photo shows 9/12 people as far back as 3rd. St. and lots of green grass in the mall beyond.

And please don't try to claim they were still marching down Pennsylvania Avenue. You can see quite plainly that the crowd there also ends at 3rd St.

Keep on dreaming.

That 9/12 photo link was not the best. You can find the panorama here.

Posted by: Lao at September 21, 2009 5:14 PM

Lao, if you actually read the report, you'd know that the author couldn't even confirm that the Promise Keeper photos were real. But the the area photos of Obama's inauguration showed lots of empty space at the Obama inauguration. Go back and look at them again.

Posted by: Judith M. at September 21, 2009 6:52 PM

Well Judith, that PromiseKeepers photo is also the one that some 9/12 genius tried to pass off as a photo of 9/12. That is until it was pointed out that the Museum of the American Indian is somehow missing from that shot.

I have looked at the photos. I suggest you do the same. Then look at page 13 of the report. Notice how the measurements of the mall actually skip the paths on either side? Skipping including those paths in the measurements is just a small part of the voodoo math that report tries to peddle.

Now go back to the inauguration and PromiseKeepers photos and notice how there are people on those paths.

That 1.7 million estimate is utterly bogus. Take the inauguration photos or take Promise Keepers, and squeeze ALL those people into a space running from 3rd St. to the Capitol. THEN add 596,760 MORE. It simply can't be done. You are deluding yourself if you think otherwise.

Posted by: Lao at September 21, 2009 9:38 PM

Moonbat groups have plans to target specific businesses for harassment and destruction for daring to participate in the American way of life. Armed forces recruiting stations are also expected to be hit.

Do they ever stop to consider the irony? To ponder what might happen to them if they engaged in this behavior in Burma, Iran, or even Spain? Do the words "Tianamen Square" mean anything to them?

It's funny how rarely we see riots about "imperialism" and "fascism" in the countries that are actually guilty of it. It's like...somehow, these people have a survival instinct or something. Can't quite put my finger on it.

Posted by: Cylar at September 21, 2009 11:03 PM

Funny, out of the million or so who attended the 9/12 protest, I didn't notice a single one who was covering their face with a handkerchief or a mask.

Posted by: ent at September 22, 2009 1:03 AM

Who gives a crap what the numbers were. It was a hell of a lot of people and small in comparison to the rest of the patriots that were out en masse across the country.

Posted by: JoeShmoe at September 22, 2009 7:19 AM

ent Thats becuase those who took part in the 9/12 protests are avrage americans those with the bandanas and masks are a bunch of dirty rank cowards

How much marijuana can you carry without fear of prosecution in Pittsburgh during this fandango?
Remember in Denver it was an ounce more of less.
maybe thats the norm there beins its a utopian democrat enclave.
The recruters should be able to defend themselves according to their training and let the fools know why they dont want to pick a fight they cant win.
