In case you do not have a dictionary with in arm's reach (unlike the bottle of Night Train gutter wine), parodies are not meant to be taken seriously. The reason Weird Al has never been sued, is because such parodies fall under the "fair use" clause of the copyright act. While Weird Al has always sought permission from the original artist, technically he does not have seek permission, because of the fair use clause of the copyright act.
