Andrew Klavan on Racism

Remember, even celebrities deserve to be evaluated as individuals.

On a tip from TED.

Of all the forms of human life that deserve damnation above all other based on race, celebrity is the lowest form of human life. They live for the one purpose of their own self grandiloquence, and egotistical sartorial existence. Yes I am a racist, and of all the races I hate the most, it is the celebrity; they are unworthy, overpaid, talentless, self-serving egoists who should be locked up in the most remote Gitmo-like prisons we can find, and kept there until they learn humility and respect for honest hard working people. In my opinion, the grandest celebrity of all time is the current president of the United States of America. Followed closely by the two living former presidents who were from the democratic socialist party.

Ah, ah, ah. At least celebutards are generally funded with private money, such as album sales or movie theater tickets.

The 'race' you just described is actually politicians. The word 'politics' comes from Latin 'poly-' meaning 'many' and '-tics' meaning 'blood-sucking parasites.'

I am a huge movie fan, but lately I can't bring myself to go to the movies because I detest the politics of the actors and the leftist messages that are inserted into the films. Also, the constant barrage of publicity about the degraded lifestyles of celebrities that is designed to dull our outrage at such lifestyles is disgusting and harmful to our children and young adults. Although Klavan jokingly criticizes the old studio system, at least the stars were humble in public, circumspect in their private lives, and made WONDERFUL movies. The dreck that is passed off today, mostly comic books, violence, and graphic sex, is horrific. So, although I remain a movie fan, I will not see movies made by Michael Moore or Mr. Sundance, or movies which star Susan Sarandon, Sean Penn, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Megan Fox, et al. That leaves mighty slim pickings. So, I stay home and keep my money.
