What to Do With Folks Who Are Fishy?

Once fishy folks have been reported to flag@whitehouse.gov, what to do with them? Comrade Obama might want to take a cue from fellow socialist FDR:

Compliments of Jackal.

As bad as Manzanar was, I've read repeatedly that there were real live Japanese spies committing real live spying activities. My Dad married a Japanese woman who thinks a bit too much has been made about Manzanar, which is unheard of in Japan. She says that Japanese prefer to remember - after the bomb - the Marshall plan that saved the Japanese economy and fed millions.

Bush didn't do anything like this? Must be a Democrat thing.

I see that the picture is before they realized that they had to put tar paper over the outsides of the huts to keep the wind from whipping through.

One more point to set the analogy straight.

The Nipponese people of the 1940s were, as a culture, subservient.

The moderate, independent and right of center individual of the 2009 era are not subservient, are Americans of a multi-cultural background and own (OMG) firearms.

Just wanted to point that out.

yeah we need to send all the black and immigrants into camps

Posted by: Jon Carney at August 9, 2009 10:57 PM

This is not a debate about interment camps. That issue is 100% settled in light of the overwhelm, ing atrocities committed by the Japanese in WWII. Read a book about historyyou retarded Leftard apologists! Not some Georhe Soros funded revisionist bullshit, eveil enough to make Stalin proud.

This IS a debate about how the new 'fascism' will have a smiley face, the face of our dear leader and teacher, who is only TAKING COMPLETE CONTROL OF OUR LIVES and only means well, he's doing it for the benefit of mankind. You really do believe him and all the propaganda left here by obedient trolls that visit here, don't you? What's that? You disagree? You're a racist! Report to box car number 15878a immediately.

That comment from "John Carney" needs to go away. Nobody on this site shares that sentiment.

I hope I've turned myself in enough times now to get to go to camp! A totally all-Obama-all-the-time camp would be so much FUN!

/sarc, except I really have turned myself in on numerous occasions

i have to agree with oiao, a strong-willed, armed group of people will NOT be herded like cattle, there WILL be a fight.

Posted by: weewilly at August 10, 2009 6:02 AM

I've been to camp before. We did alot of fun things....oh wait.....were not talking about the same thing are we?

You know, the odd thing about FDR's internment policy was that it was only carried out on Japanese-Americans on the west coast (where there was little- to no-activity vis-a-vis spying). In Hawaii, there was no internment at all, and that's where we found out later that the islands were CRAWLING with 5th column spies.

But then, since when does a Democrat policy (even one as fundamentally unconstitutional as internment camps) have to make sense?

Send all tea party attendents to concentration camps just like all tyrants do with their opponents

Posted by: SPURWING PLOVER at August 10, 2009 7:48 AM

what's spooky are all the "internment specialists" they're looking to hire - that coupled with all the military bases clinton closed in the nineties should give everyone pause.

almost forgot - a new mob sticker!

Posted by: nancz at August 10, 2009 7:57 AM

sticker found at gm's place.

Posted by: nancz at August 10, 2009 7:58 AM

Nancz, care to link to that? I think you're referring to an ad some dumb ass in the pentagon came up with for the MOS of stockade/prison guard for military stockades. See the article at This Ain't Hell, http://thisainthell.us/blog/?p=13398 .
