What Do the Kennedys Mean to You?

As part of the media's deification of the treasonous left-wing degenerate Chappaquiddick Ted, ABC News asks its readers,

What Do the Kennedys Mean to You?

The responses are hilarious. Currently on top:

It looks like we really do have our moonbat rulers surrounded.

ROBERT KENNEDY Jr PATRICK KENNEDY is a spoiled little brat and the whole bunch are nothing but a bunch who think their royalty SCREW THEM ALL

Wow, Van Helsing and VtheK, thank you for that link! I went over and read each and every one of the comments (53 so far). Left one of my own. Everybody else do the same! It WAS a delightful read.

Posted by: Karin at August 27, 2009 12:22 PM

The leftist media is going to find out, to its complete bewilderment, that many if not most Americans really didn't think that much of Ted Kennedy, even if they liked the others (God only knows why). Their response will not be to back off and rethink their position on Red Ted, oh no, their response will be to double down on the deification and glowing coverage of that "great American" Chappaquiddick Ted. If we don't believe God used to ask Teddy for advice, then by God they'll MAKE us believe it! Everyone loves the Kennedys, didn't you get the memo?

Usually right about now I'd make a point about what would have happened had a conservative gotten drunk, ran his car off a bridge, and left his female companion to die. This time, however, I think we can go one step further: can you imagine if someone not named Kennedy, even another liberal, had done the above? Career ruined. Charged with drunk driving, manslaughter, and other assorted crimes. Possible, even probable, jail time. Ted Kennedy's career truly astounds me, since try as he might to throw his political career away the left and the media (same thing, I know) wouldn't let him. If nothing else turns you off of leftism, the people they hold in high esteem should, the Fidel Castros, Che Guevaras, Hugo Chavezs, and Kennedys of the world.

And yet they call conservatives evil. I haven't even got the words.

Posted by: CoderInCrisis at August 27, 2009 12:35 PM

How amusing is it that ONLY the MSM is glorifying Red Ted? They call him "The Lion of the Senate" yet every person who could speak freely (And emphasis on freely) described the bloated corpse for what he is. Isn't that a sign that the MSM is clearly not in the same league as Americans anymore? It was obvious already but this is just a confirmation. This is like Stalin's propaganda that the world was wonderful and perfect, broadcasted in his gulag camps.

Not exactly the warm fuzzy comments you were expecting, eh ABC News?

Hah! The stimulus comment had me on the floor, I was laughing so hard. I have to imagine that ABC news was expecting tearful farewells, though of course they will put this down to astroturfing directed by the Republican National Committee and that these are not "real" comments.

"I haven't even got the words."

Or the thoughts that come before the words, I would say.

Let's take a quick look down your list of important hard-hitting topics currently on here. Shall we do a quick little round up?

1 - announcing happiness at a death
2 - ditto
3 - a guy mows his weed patch
4 - British healthcare is what we will have here
5 - its bad to teach kids about sexual issues
6 - dang, someone said something good about a kennedy
7 - surprise surprise (not really) another Hitler comparison
8 - healthcare isn't a fundamental right, its more like TV.

I've got one for you. Based on, you know, an actual poll of you birth folks.

Probably as uncertain as you are that we actually landed on the moon, I'd bet.

Posted by: Anonymous at August 27, 2009 1:15 PM

The PUBLISHED goals of the Liberals and the communists are the EXACTLY same. You liberals think you are not commies justbecause you RARELY display the hammer and sickle or the red star.

You do display pictures of Che "shoot-em-in-the-back" Geuvera a lot, though.

"I was answering Anonymous' "birther" accusation."

You didn't write anything that responds. Another communist accusation is no answer to your continued weird citizenship denials.

Its much like your fascination with what the Mrs. wears on vacation, or whether or not the kids get their hair straightened. You can't get past the "otherness" ... you're so caught up in it, you can't think straight.

WAIT. You are calling Kennedy "treasonous" for playing politics and attempting to get the opposition to fail in the re-election bid.

How many GOP members are, right this minute, doing EXACTLY that? Playing politics and just getting in the way? The list comprises essentially all of them... here's one from just today:

http://www.chickashanews.com/local/local_story_239102559.html

I assume you are going to stand up and decry the republican douchebags who are doing exactly the same crap, right?

Because surely none of you are just partisan hacks with blinders on when it comes to the people on your team...

Posted by: weewilly at August 27, 2009 1:45 PM

Ahh, but anonymouse, the difference is that the Republicans are working within the system, and Red Ted was negotiating directly with Yuri Andropov, the ENEMY, which is in fact treasonous.

Posted by: Mr Evilwrench at August 27, 2009 1:47 PM

Just looked at the comments on the ABC News site, and they're ALL negative - every one! And the points the posters make are valid.

I wonder how soon ABC will pull this, or whether they'll send in their leftist astroturfers instead.

Posted by: LouieLouie at August 27, 2009 1:49 PM

Yeah...that Pauline was a hoot! Poor lost soul. Horribly outnumbered. It was great!

Posted by: JoeShmoe at August 27, 2009 1:57 PM

Oops - I did not in fact look at all of the comments. As I type this, there are now 107 comments, nearly all negative. The positive one related to Ted's persona, and not to his politics, courage (ha), honor (or lack thereof) or anything else of real importance.

Use the link above to the ABC News site. THIS IS A MUST READ.

Posted by: LouieLouie at August 27, 2009 1:59 PM

WAIT. You are calling Kennedy "treasonous" for playing politics and attempting to get the opposition to fail in the re-election bid.

No. We call him treasonous because he offered to collaborate with our enemy (the USSR) to undermine the foreign policy of the United States and thereby to advance his partisan political goals. That's straight-up treason. (Btw, the Norwegians shot Vidkun Quisling for treason for doing pretty much the same thing.)

Hmmm... The demoRats im Mass. are saying they can't be unrepresented for as long as it takes to hold a special election, so they need and want to change the law back to what it was in 2004 when the governor appoints a vacant senate seat, they did that when Mitt Romney (R) was Governor to prevent him from appointing the seat in case john kerry (d) won the presidency. What hypocrisy, and Dead Ted Kennedy wasn't working at the senate for months anyway, so what's the difference! What a bunch of crooks and fucking cry babies!!

Posted by: Ghost of changing the law in 2004 at August 27, 2009 2:07 PM

From a distance in time and space, I remember the puzzlement and even shock of the media when polls showed that most Americans supported Oliver North.
He was relentless bucketed and hints made of infidelity and so on, yet the polls made nothing of the attacks on him.
I guess the same journos are deja vuing right now round at Starbucks.

I, by the way, rebutted one of Pauline's utterly inane comments about how people like Teddy "Chappaquidick" Kennedy "gave us" civil rights, labor rights, etc.

Pretty sure she won't get it though. Logical, reasoned thought isn't very common on that side of the aisle.

Posted by: Richard at August 27, 2009 2:10 PM

I don't give a damn where Obama was born, I just want him to produce his long form birth certificate like McCain did and every other person who runs for president should have to do. Perhaps I should rephrase that, I don't give a damn where he was born provided his long form BC proves he was born in Hawaii. The bottom line is this. In Hawaii at the time of Obama's birth a person could register a foreign birth as a Hawaiin birth. The rules were very lax as to documentation, so getting the long form is a simple matter of due diligence. Of course, there's also the question of whether natural born status requires both parents of a candidate to be citizens at the time of the candidate's birth, and I would like to see that legal question resolved even though I really do want Obama to serve his entire term, go down in flames due to his own ineptitude, and take the whole Democratic party down with him.

Fairytales really do come true ... inflicting their twisted ideology of "social justice" and holding onto their wealth while stealing the wages of others to hand out to lazy-asses in the Kennedy name, and lots of booze and broads to drown in--- er, drown with--- er, you know what I mean. Starting a war that will be deflected away from the Kennedy name, and evidently be labeled "Nixon's War" ... and said war being used to negatively describe and equate any war a republican POTUS dares decide to take this country into.

In Teddy's case, long out-living that Kennedy dude motto of 'live hard and die young leaving a good-looking' funeral parlor display ... in Teddy's case, long enough to look like an old woman troll.

Mourning's over and KennedyCare threatens to kill us all ...

So the Obama administration is the country? You fail civics forever.

More and more felt that Obama follows the l'tat, c'est moi ("I am the state") mantra... nice to see you fascists fall right in line behind him when someone dares to question your messiah.

In any event, the Obama administration is already failing... I hope he continues to fail.

Posted by: Evil Otto at August 27, 2009 5:18 PM

But his failure will be our country's failure, not just his administration's.

So, we're all supposed to cheer while he runs up $10 Trillion in deficits? We're supposed to shout "Hurrah!" while he tries to implement health care policies that we believe will make the system worse? We're supposed to hope he succeeds in implementing policies that we believe with every fiber of our being are wrong and will harm the country? Just because he is our "leader" and we have to follow his every command?

That's not patriotism, buddy. That's a mindless cult of personality. We'll have no part of it.

WIshing for failure though is disgusting. You seem to think that you alone love this country and have a right to govern it. You don't! It belongs to all of us, not only you. You don't agree? Work to change it!

Whining about eco-washers and making false claims about birth certificates and "death panels" is a gross way to go though.

But, keep on posting Anony, we all get our daily laugh from you and your other screen names.

Posted by: UpNorth at August 27, 2009 5:28 PM

It is a logical impossibility to both oppose the Dear Leader's policies and hope he succeeds in implementing them.

I hope KennedyCare fails... because I think it would be bad for the country.

I hope someone checks his spending plans... because I think they are bad for the country.

I hope he fails to implement cap and tax ... because I think it would be bad for the country.

I hope he fails to get away with the enormous amount of corruption we have already seen in this administration (the closing of the investigation against Bill Richardson being just the latest example)... because I believe no one should get away with corruption.

Because I oppose policies I believe are bad for the country, a moonbat is calling me unpatriotic, as well as a variety of insults far more crude and inaccurate.

Posted by: V the K at August 27, 2009 5:31 PM

But his failure will be our country's failure, not just his administration's.

Hypothetical situation: your house is on fire, and for whatever reason the fire department isn't coming. So you and your neighbors do the only sensible thing... you grab hoses and buckets and try to put the fire out. One neighbor, though, takes his bucket down to the local 7/11, fills it with gasoline, brings it back, and tosses the gas on the fire. He turns around and heads back towards the gas station.

You grab him and yell "What the hell are you doing?!?"

He looks at you, puzzled, and with all honesty says "I'm trying to put out the fire."

DO YOU WANT HIM TO SUCCEED?

You leftist drones always confuse goals with results. Obama's GOAL may be to put out the fire of this recession, but the RESULT of his actions is going to be massive debt on a scale that is going to cripple our economy for many years, double-digit inflation, and continued high unemployment. This administration is driving us towards a cliff, and the only strategy they have is to push the pedal down even further and go even faster.

I may be giving Obama too much credit: that he actually is trying to make things better and is just incompetent. I'm not given to conspiracy theories and usually follow Grey's Law "Any sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice."

Of late, though, I'm not so sure. I'm really starting to think this is the plan... screw up the economy so badly that he and his cronies will be able to "begin the work of remaking America." (Obama's words, by the way) I think the goal is to turn the US into a European-style "social democracy" where a group of elites never have to risk losing power.

So yes, I want him to fail. Badly. Embarrassingly. His failure will put a stake into the vampiric heart of socialism, at least for a time. If he succeeds, this country will fail.

Posted by: Evil Otto at August 27, 2009 5:37 PM

Your twisting words, but then again that's your favorite past time. I don't say "oppose and hope he succeeds" I only say "don't wish for failure"

And yes, I say wishing for our failure in unpatriotic. And to use a phrase I heard recently, you were singing a different tune not too long ago, when speaking out against the war was called unpatriotic, among many other insults more crude.

Posted by: Anonymous at August 27, 2009 5:40 PM

We're seeing the desperation of the leftists, who think that Obama's failure was caused by Americans hoping for it, and not by his own incompetence.

Whether or not I personally hope for Obama to fail depends on whether he thinks the best for this country would be socialism. If so, then I hope he crashes and burns, as he's doing. If not, I hope he grows up and wises up. Firing some of the clowns around him - e.g., Holder - would be the first signal of this.

Posted by: Jay Guevara at August 27, 2009 5:41 PM

By Obamadinejad failing, it will be a success on the part of American exceptionalism/greatness.

Therefore, I WANT him to fail because it will benefit America, because crushing communist/statist/socialist infiltration is the very essence of the freedom and uniqueness that America holds dear.

In other words, him failing will cause America (freedom and all) as we know, to persevere.

Posted by: AmericanToTheCore at August 27, 2009 5:42 PM

I hope for leftist failure, and will do my utmost to work for it. I view that as hoping for the best for America.

And those being called unpatriotic (actually called "traitors") were called such not because they "spoke against the war," but because they wished for the U.S. to lose, and American troops to be harmed, i.e., because they were traitors, straight-up.

Posted by: Jay Guevara at August 27, 2009 5:44 PM

Anonymous, like VtK said, does not understand the logical implications that he espouses.

He's saying it's ok to disagree with Obamadinejad's policies... while also wanting them to be implemented? I'm sorry, but that defies all conventions of thinking... unless, much like all the other liberals, you partake in something known as doublethink (cognitive dissonance).

Posted by: AmericanToTheCore at August 27, 2009 5:45 PM

Your self-defeating words and actions will come back to bite you, I have no doubt.

In your wish for failure, you will receive it in your own behalf.

Posted by: Anonymous at August 27, 2009 5:46 PM

"He's saying it's ok to disagree with Obamadinejad's policies... while also wanting them to be implemented?"

Again, its intentional twisting on your part. You want so desperately for the opposition to be flawed that your hearing becomes flawed.

It is definitely possible to say "I think this is the wrong course of action" at the same time it is possible to acknowledge that any individual person, even yourself, may be wrong.

It is sincerely possible to say therefore "While I think this is wrong, I see that its possible that it could work out much better than my twisted failure fantasy"

Posted by: Anonymous at August 27, 2009 5:49 PM

Once again, logic and reason have failed to penetrate the thick head of an Obama-worshiping cultist moonbat.

Posted by: V the K at August 27, 2009 5:49 PM

Who's got the thick head? You're completely unwilling to admit even the possibility of being wrong?

That is the very definition of a thick head.

Yep, more gross statements from Otto.

Whatever. Do you think your disapproval means ANYTHING to me?

I wouldn't expect anything less. You claim to love my country, but its clear you don't.

Your beloved Teleprompter Jesus is steering it into a wall. You love this country the way an abusive husband shows he loves his wife... by slapping it around.

I endured an administration I disagreed with heartily for 8 years, and never wished for our failure. Clearly, if things don't go exactly your way, your willing to instantly drop your patriotism, take your ball, stomp your feet and go home! Next you'll be burning flags!

This isn't about "disagreeing," moron. This isn't some partisan bullshit. I disagreed with the Clinton administration. I disagreed with the Bush administration. This is far worse: Obama's policies WILL. NOT. WORK.

How do I know this? Because I read history. Because I know how economics work. This administration is printing and borrowing money on a scale that makes George Bush look like a piker. He is driving up unbelievable deficits, attempting to overhaul health care (one seventh of the US economy) in a period of a few weeks, pushing a cap and trade scheme that will drive energy prices through the roof, and pushed a "stimulus" package through that is not actually stimulating the economy.

It's as if he took every book on economics, read through them, and decided to do the exact opposite of what they recommended.

Poor little tantrum throwers. Grow up, grow a set, and know that its not always going to go your way. This isn't just your country, its OURS.

And you are screwing it up. You ridiculous cultists and your hero worship of this corrupt, incompetent empty-suit of a president are leading us to disaster. Your religious faith in socialism is going to lead where socialism always leads.

Obama is failing, and he's taking you leftists down with him.

Pure lies. I never heard such at the many protests I went to. You won't stop at anything will you Jay? Just make it up as you go along?

Seriously man, get some therapy and stop holding a grudge against your weirdo liberal family upbringing. Those events have nothing to do with healthcare.

Priceless. I'm tired of trying to be polite and politic. Sure, a human being died, and that's very sad. But lo, the evils that Teddy the Swimmer leveled on not only this nation and its people.

The biggest indictment of him is the fact that, despite all his efforts, the country has not lurched to the Left, but swayed gradually to the RIGHT, during his final years. Lots of wind, but no waves.

RIP Ted.

Says the guy who cannot accept the possibility that one can oppose Obama and still be patriotic.

Part of the problem is, you have failed to refute any of our reasons for opposing Obama's policy. All you can do is repeat, "You oppose Obama, so you must be wrong."

You have not even attempted to defend his $10 trillion in deficit spending, the endemic corruption of his administration, or the inadequacies of the health care reform plan. All you can do is say, "Maybe they won't fail. You're disloyal for thinking they will."

"but because they wished for the U.S. to lose, and American troops to be harmed" - Pure lies. I never heard such at the many protests I went to.V

We support the troops when they shoot their officers.

And just by participating in the protests, you sent a message to the enemy. "Kill enough of our troops, and we'll quit." Your side encouraged the insurgents to kill our troops. Their blood is on your hands.

Posted by: V the K at August 27, 2009 6:00 PM

"Whatever. Do you think your disapproval means ANYTHING to me?"

Of course! Why else respond?

As to the rest, your broad claims rely on nothing but your empty head. How about Medicare? How about Social Security? What has history taught you there? Did your grandparents use and rely on these programs? Mine did. Did America become a socialist country? No? What is your history teaching you exactly, and in what book are you reading it?

Posted by: Anonymous at August 27, 2009 6:01 PM

No their blood is on the presidents hands who sent them merrily off to fight a war we shouldn't have been in, and on the hands of the fools who supported it. (that'd be you)

Posted by: Anonymous at August 27, 2009 6:02 PM

Medicare and Social Security are both on the verge of bankruptcy and will require either massive tax increases or benefit cuts. Why do leftists keep trotting them out as wonderful examples of socialism?

Posted by: V the K at August 27, 2009 6:03 PM

"You oppose Obama, so you must be wrong."

Again, you're not hearing. I never said anything even remotely close to that.

You've been calling everybody who dares to oppose Dear Leader's policies unpatriotic, stupid, bitter and "disgusting" since 5:05 pm. Don't play this childish "Those weren't my exact words" game," when it's clear to any grown-up exactly what you meant.

And you still fail to refute our criticisms of Obama's deficits and misguided policies.

FUCK THE TROOPS - Sounds like me they didn't even support the troops (it is patriotic to support your armed services brethren). Something you liberals don't know about. Not all of us necessarily agreed with their reason for being put in harms way but we sure as f***ing hell supported them as American citizens and freedom fighters.

Burning a soldier in effigy - sounds to me like they wished death on our troops (a heinous "being lit on fire" act at that... which is barbaric).

Horrific things said about troops by liberal buds.

Liberals hate freedom.

How about Medicare? How about Social Security? What has history taught you there? Did your grandparents use and rely on these programs? Mine did. Did America become a socialist country? No?Your nanny-state politics LOVE those programs because it puts them in position of "GUB'MINT KNOWS BEST."

We advocate personal responsibility... which means these programs would have NO REASON to exist. And of course they relied and benefitted from these programs... THEY F***ING PAID INTO THEM BY FORCE. G'damn you just don't have a clue.

Let ME save MY money so that I can spend it and save it as I see fit... government intervention takes away personal choice and responsibility.

I can't even comprehend how stupid and ignorant you are. Your clueless-ness apparently has NO END.

Posted by: Dave at August 27, 2009 6:23 PM

Of course! Why else respond?

Because it's amusing.

Look, I've been doing this for a long time. Years. You're another in a long line of cookie-cutter leftists, each one the same as all the others. Your lines don't change, your insults don't change, and when you wander off you'll be replaced by someone just like you. I enjoy tearing your comments apart. It's fun to show how feeble your arguments are, and how utterly mindless you are. Like the old line from Saturday Night Live, "I've got chunks'a guys like you in my stool."

So don't get the idea you've pissed me off, or that I care what you think. I respond because I enjoy it, not because I give a crap what you think about anything.

As to the rest, your broad claims rely on nothing but your empty head.

Oh, brilliant comeback. With a dry, cool wit like that you should be an action hero.

How about Medicare? How about Social Security? What has history taught you there?

Heh, you lose.

You mean the programs that are going bankrupt? Those programs? Do you know what the unfunded liability of Social Security and Medicare are/ Do you know how many tens of TRILLIONS of dollars we are on the hook for because of just those two programs? Of course you don't. You're economically illiterate.

History shows that pyramid schemes always collapse. ALWAYS. That is what those programs are. And when they go, the resulting collapse will make the current crisis look like nothing.

What's hilarious is that you think those examples are success stories. I honestly can't even mock that sheer level of stupidity. You don't even know what's really going on, do you?

Did your grandparents use and rely on these programs? Mine did.

Hope you're not planning on using them.

Did America become a socialist country? No?

Socialism isn't a light switch, either on or off. It is a process. The socialist is never content... he must always increase his control, must always find another cause that requires massive governmental intervention and untold billions of dollars. Social Security, Medicare, food stamps, housing, each time a program was passed another manufactured "crisis" came up. Right now, it's health care, but even if Obama got his way and his plan passed, there would be another cause requiring billions more.

What is your history teaching you exactly, and in what book are you reading it?

They are teaching that there's no such thing as a free lunch. They are teaching that government spending has a price, and that price is always worse than the crisis.

“I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.” -Thomas Jefferson

Posted by: Evil Otto at August 27, 2009 6:29 PM

"Your wish for failure is disgusting. There's nothing more anti-American than that. Move away you sicko. "

I wish for Obama's failure, because Obama's failure means America wins. That's the definition of patriotic, you poor, addled, bastard. And unlike goofballs like Alec Baldwin who threaten to leave the country when they don't get their way, I, like countless other patriots intend to protest in place hard and loudly, until the day that Obama packs his bags and takes his whole cadre of scoundrels with him.

Posted by: KHarn at August 27, 2009 7:25 PM

Let's make this so simple, even a liberal can comprehend it:

We want people like Obama and Ted Kennedy to fail because their success means America loses.

We would rather America not lose, screw the stupid politicians, we couldn't care less about them.

Not wanting America to lose is the very definition of patriotism.

So, screw Obama and the rest of the liberal Democrats and the donkeys they rode in on!

Got it yet?

I know, no you don't. we're all retarded and some kind of racist Nazis who must hate America, yada, yada, yada...

And we're the ones who are supposedly braindead??? Go figure.

Liberals hope for failure every day.

They want Capitalism to fail so they can have socialist control.

They want talk radio and cable TV to fail because the popular message opposes socialism.

They screamed for Bush to fail every second for 8 years.

They want white students to fail so they will be on even footing with minorities who don't care.

They want Christianity to fail because they hate the fact a real God overshadows socialism in the minds of believers.

They want private schools and home schooling to fail so they can control and "socialize" ALL children.

They want private medicine to fail so they can control life and death.

They want me to fail because I'm more intelligent than every last one of them - including their super-low IQ little brown gawd.

They want competition to fail because they are unable to compete.

I could go on and on and on.

Damn right I want to see their fool of a leader fail - he STANDS for failure of America. He WORKS for failure of America. he PRAYS for failure of America. Just ask his mentor of 20 years - Mr. "God Damn America" himself - the piece of crap Write.

Fail Obama! Fail you son-of-a-bitch!

You silly liberals can kiss my ass and try to shut me up.

Oh - and spell check still does not recognize 'Obama'. Neither do I. He is NOT my "leader", he does NOT represent me, and he never will.

Oh - and Dead Ted can kiss my ass, too.

Of the 164 comments on the ABC News site so far, perhaps five are marginally positive. And even those commentors cannot find anything good to say about Ted and/or the Kennedys as politicians - only about the "warm and fuzzy feelings" that they oozed (just like Obama - typical of Libs) or their "good intentions" (not to be confused with good or even reasonable results). What a joke. Or in today's vernacular - EPIC FAIL.

"Your IQ points are equal to the number of diminishing teeth in your head. LIttle delusional meth-head country freaks, humping your cousins, and yet still feeling uniquely qualified to talk about morality. Your self-delusion is really scary."

I'd say that last sentece is more of a description of you than of us, since you've deluded yourself into believing that we're all stereotypical dumb hillbillies with NOTHING to back up that assertion. I do feel bad for you.
btw, while I can't speak for Otto and the others here, I don't necessarily want Obama's administration to "Fail" per se, due to the potentially very bad consequences that would have for the rest of the country. However, what I DO want is for the American public to wake up and realize the truth that the ideas and policies put forward by Obama and his ilk are (For the most part) well- intentioned, but WON'T WORK feasibly, and will just make our problems worse in the long run, so that then those guys can be voted out in the next elections and replaced with people who actually know what they are doing and can help get our country out of this mess.

Joe Klein of Time Magazine describes meeting Ted Kennedy at a cocktail reception in the 1970's. Klein was stoned and Kennedy was drunk.

That pretty much sums up the behavior of Ted Kennedy and his adoring disciples in the MSM.

Refuter,

Hard to read the article since it has a tone of "walking through the desert for 30 days to find redemption" about Kennedy by Klein, the sycophant.

Klein may be considering throwing himself in the grave on the casket.

The comment in passing about Hunter Thompson brings up an interesting point though: Thompson, a liberal, vilified Nixon and other conservatives as Hitlerian offspring, but never really Gonzoed Kennedy, a murderous, traitorous, drunken racist.

But then I knew Thompson and in fairness, I know he didn't have THAT strong of a stomach.
