Transport for the Obama Era

Even before he took power, Comrade Obama let it be known that he wanted to drive the coal industry — our most efficient source of energy — our of business. Our Dem rulers severely restrict oil drilling and will not let us build new refineries or nuclear plants. If Tax and Charade passes the Senate, massive taxes will be piled upon what little energy we are permitted to generate. As Dear Leader promised, electricity prices will skyrocket.

But so what? Green technology means leaving electricity behind. In the future, we'll travel by the Shweeb human-powered monorail:

Look at those nasty power lines in the background. We'll be rid of them soon!

Think of the exercise we'll get from all the pedaling. Future Americans will enjoy prime fitness right up to their ObamaCare cutoff age, reducing healthcare costs to a minimum.

Not to worry about CO2 emissions; the glass enclosure traps your breath within.

Yet another advantage is that the rail system prevents citizens from traveling anywhere that planners have decided we don't need to go.
