Quite simple, the "logic" of legalized abortion is that unborn humans aren't really people, and so can be killed for society's convenience.

Planned Parenthood makes a billion dollars a year, destroying inconvenient life.

All you have to do is extend that reasoning to the elderly, define them as "not really people," and then it becomes okay to kill them for society's convenience.

Furthermore, I hear lefties justify abortion all time time by saying that these children are "unwanted" and would be "a burden to society."

One wonders how many elderly and disabled people also could be considered "unwanted" and "a burden to society."
