That was great satire. It hit on so many issues relating to the health care reform proposals. I wonder if the liberals will get it?

That was a great cartoon! Spot on!

Another topic: As soon as that cap and tr8or, McHugh gets the nod for the SecArmy job, we'll have a special election to replace him. I think we have a good solid candidate for the Conservative Party. (The GOP put a commie on the ticket). He believes everything we believe, and he's a BUSINESSMAN not a lawyer.

They forgot to add that certain kids may not qualify for good enough portions of the lunch due to age, weight, gender, etc.

Another analogy: when there are 100 deer in a field, but only enough food for 50, 50 deer don't starve, all 100 do.

If there are 200,000,000 people in the gov't healthcare plan, but only enough money to service 100,000,000 of them, 100,000,000 don't go without proper healthcare, all 200,000,000 do.

I'm not going to bother with the whole link; it isn't that interesting. but I just wanted to say a few words about that "unintended consequences" concept that statists seem to have such a mental block on:

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- The stock market's enthusiasm over the government's "cash for clunkers" program waned Thursday in the face of data suggesting consumers exchanged old cars for newer models at the expense of other retail spending.

duh. couldn't see that coming!

but hey, who cares anyway? The government took taxpayer money and funneled it to government-owned car companies so they could funnel it to union pension funds, so I guess it all worked out OK. Would be a lot easier, though, if I could just write a check to the AFL-CIO and be done with it.

On December 1, 1955, a Black (the term African-American didn't exist back then) woman in Birmingham, Alabama refused to give up her seat in the front of the bus and move to the seats in the back of the bus just so a white person could sit close to the door. Her name was Rosa Parks. She joined forces with a man named Martin Luther King Jr. They, along with other patriots formed a strike against the city of Birmingham's mass tranist bus system. They lit the fuse to the civil rights movement. The powder keg exploded.

On August 4, 2009, a woman in Lebanon, Pennsylvania attended a townhall rally and read Senator Arlen Specter the riot act over the socialist take over of not only our country's health and medical care, but just about everything else. Her name is Katy Abram. "You've awakened a sleeping giant," she said. Many patriots agree with her. Patriots all over the country have joined forces to oppose governmental take over of health and medical care. The fuse has been lit. Things could get interesting when this powder keg explodes. It's only a matter of time.

DHS relied on crackpot website to smear right-wing groups in threat report.

DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano's researchers liked one particularly apocalyptic web site so much that they cited it 11 times in their report. This site - called "What It Means" - often warns that the world is about to end, as with this recent headline: "Deaith Star Pandemic of 2009-2012: End of Age Begins."

But the term "black" did exist back then. It was an INSULT.
