Karin, I think we'll continue to see the self-deception, not only about global warming, but health care, etc. The left-media-White House-internet moonbat nexus has spent so long convincing itself that (a) it is correct, (b) people support its positions, (c) the handful of ragtag wingnuts who pipe up are stupid peasants to be ridiculed, that they are now completely blinded to the reality of the situation by their own hubris. I think we are at or near a tipping point with public opinion - let's face it, things are more or less 50/50 right now; half the country is still stuck on Obama and the socialist cause train, the other half despises it. Give us a further shift of around 4 to 6 people per hundred, and the smarter ones who, say, have to run for office, are going to wake up out of their slumber.
