Kaa (the snake) represents the Obamunist Deathcare Movement. The "Man-Cub" (Mowgli) is the public being duped. Will Mowgli snap out of it in time?

to my mind obama is quite a bit more ambitious than hitler, hitler merely wanted to rid the world of those he deemed "undesirables", but our egalitarian messiah makes everyone (once they are deemed "too old to be a benefit to society") "undesirable".

Obama's whitehouse.gov site has a new propaganda page to "dispell" health care reform rumors.
This tinny amateur Goebbels-esque attempt to have Obama's Czars feed us peasants the Official Truthin a series of video vignettes will probably not last the week, so click on over and savor the moment while it lasts.

Well, gee, how can they speak so confidently of the effects of a bill that hasn't even been negotiated or finalized? Is maximum leader zero having these twits argue for what he wants us to think he wants to sign? And we're supposed to just accept that what may eventually show up on his desk will resemble this nonsense in any meaningful way, nevermind continuing to resemble it into the future? Need to archive these videos, maybe fisk them.

Rep. Baron P. Hill (D, Ind.):
“I’m trying to control the event,” Hill said, shortly before an informal discussion with a dozen business people at the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce. “What I don’t want to do is create an opportunity for the people who are political terrorists to blow up the meeting and not try to answer thoughtful questions.”

Rep. Brian Baird (D., Wash.):
[Baird] said a “coordinated national effort” to disrupt public meetings with shouts and demonstrations, which he said Republican leaders were “egging on,” was reminiscent of the kinds of things that drove Timothy McVeigh to bomb the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City in 1995.

I thought they were above the word "terrorist..."
But no, it's OK, because Capitalism and Americans are the enemy.

New poll out from Gallup: American public thinks "global warming" is basically a big pile of shit.
Naturally, the left responds by saying the poll is wrong. Saith Daniel Weiss of the Center for American Progress, "I think the Gallup Poll is mistaken."
This article is a smorgasbord of deluded statists crying about bad polls, hysterical globwarm fraudsters repeating their tired hpe, and a few people with common sense saying things like, ""I think there's a huge amount of skepticism among the public. They've heard all these claims, and now they've been informed that there isn't any recent warming," Ebell said. "The public, without having a lot of information about it, is pretty astute. I think the alarmists are having a hard time making the case for global warming simply because reality is against them and the public has figured it out."

Ah, I love the smell of Democrat/ leftist/ liberal/ progressive/ Marxist/ socialist/ communist/ Maoist/ Leninist/ Trotskyist/ whatever fear. It smells like ...loaded diaper.
The Red stooges are obviously scared to death. They've overplayed their hand badly, and only now are realizing it.

PS: Time to investigate SEIU under the RICO statute. Past time, actually. SEIU is corrupt to the core.
We also need to revive the House Un-American Activities Committee. Despite smears by the Reds, HUAC did a lot of good work. The Venona transcripts and now available KGB files show that HUAC - originally formed to deal with American Nazis - was on the mark in sniffing out communists in, e.g., the entertainment industry, which was heavily infested.

mega, the DUmbshits at DU respond the same way to the very consistent Rasmussen poll. "It has to be wrong!" They turn a blind eye to the fact that Zobgy, Gallup, et.al are saying the same thing. king zero's at negative 9 today, BTW.
Oh, and we never did get summer up here this year. Fourth of July, I was in a turtleneck. Nobody has a tan. Nobody's buying global warming.

Karin, I think we'll continue to see the self-deception, not only about global warming, but health care, etc. The left-media-White House-internet moonbat nexus has spent so long convincing itself that (a) it is correct, (b) people support its positions, (c) the handful of ragtag wingnuts who pipe up are stupid peasants to be ridiculed, that they are now completely blinded to the reality of the situation by their own hubris. I think we are at or near a tipping point with public opinion - let's face it, things are more or less 50/50 right now; half the country is still stuck on Obama and the socialist cause train, the other half despises it. Give us a further shift of around 4 to 6 people per hundred, and the smarter ones who, say, have to run for office, are going to wake up out of their slumber. As for DU, Kos, etc., they will never get it. Their whole worldview and very being is shaped by their self-righteous sense of moral superiority. They only have two modes: ridiculing their opponents, and whining because their opponents are back in power. They just oscillate between the two over time. Let's hope soon they get to be whiny babies again.

Dems Townhall Temper Tantrums
Democrats continue to display their contempt for American voters at their town hall meetings nationwide. The most recent petulant display is brought to you by Rep. David Scott (D-Ga.) who completely lost it when a man asked a question about health care during the open Q & A segment of Scott’s town hall meeting.
