Lookie, lookie. Free Protest sign downloads at Freepers.

If you can't download and print, at least you can get some great ideas for your personally hand written protest sign. Not like the professional Leftist Astroturfers' 'one slogan fits all' signs.

This is how you stand out.

79x, I couldn't find that site. Nothing came up.

This has just got to be a plant so that the Administration can start to really call peaceful dissent of its Socialist programs, domestic right wing terriorism.

Notice the source of the article. Listen to the supposed 'voice mail' left on the SEIU message machine. ROFLMAO

Just finished reading an eye-opening book, Spies: The Rise and Fall of the KGB in America . This exhaustively resourced book (ca. 200 of references and notes) resulted from the collaboration of a historian at the Library of Congress, a professor of politics and history at Emory, and a Russian journalist, who wrote it with benefit of both the Venona decryptions of Soviet messages and work in the KGB archives.

I highly recommend it. Among other things, it shows how the Reds operated then, and makes it easy to see the same tactics and strategy in use today. Among the nuggets in the book: Alger Hiss was guilty as sin, as were the Rosenbergs (Julius's code name was "Liberal" – appropriate). I. F. Stone, who posed as a concerned left-wing intellectual, was a straight-up KGB agent.

I found which is an attempt to beat up on "Teabaggers" and Birthers.

It is a reminder that the Birthers are an embarassing liability for our side, providing about 70% of their ammunition for the accusation that our side are complete morons. In this case, I have to agree.

Posted by: Air2air at August 8, 2009 12:44 PM

Air2Air, I couldn't possibly agree more with your 12:44 post. I am really getting mad at the birthers, who, at a time when there are serious issues on the table (health care, cap and trade), not to mention a possible issue-specific temporary alliance with moderates and even disillusioned conservative democrats where we could win big with a little more support and a few votes, are making the entire conservative movement and all who inhabit it look silly and stupid.

The birth certificate thing has been all cost, and no benefit. Don't these birthers have the ability to perform even rudimentary cost/benefit analysis on their words and actions? I guess not.

Posted by: mega at August 8, 2009 1:07 PM

You are absolutely right Air2air. However, I do take comfort in the fact that the truther's peers on the right (according to some) - like you and Mega etal - are rational enough to identify and marginalize the lunacy of these fool, unlike the past 8 year under the keepers of the liberal gates. You just want to get this garbage over with and return to your normal lives. No patients for BS from either side. Protest is NOT a profession.

Mobs, indeed.

Posted by: Mr. X at August 8, 2009 1:57 PM

i'm somewhat dubious of any "conservatives" who feign outrage at the "birther movement", which to my mind has remained unchanged as an object of ridicule since the clintonistas were fueling it, the only people hyping this "movement" seem to be the bats at mslsd/cnn/abc/cbs. all "conservatives", who i assume imbibe conservative media, have seen this junk debunked multiple times, anyone giving credence to the "birthers" obviously swings to the left, the promotion of this fringe group is merely a canard to distract us from healthcare, i repeat conservatives ARE NOT the ones elevating the "birthers".

Posted by: weewilly at August 8, 2009 2:04 PM

Protest is NOT a profession.

On the contrary, for our leftist friends, it most certainly is a profession.

Posted by: Jay Guevara at August 8, 2009 4:08 PM

Maybe you should give the birthers a break. At least they are trying to do something that could reveal Obama for the liar he is.

As I recall the same argument of crazy was leveled by most everyone in the media and even Hillary Clinton about Monica. That is until she produced the blue dress with Slick Willie's joy juice splattered all over it.

The fact is none of us know the truth about Obama's records... yet. But we do know that Obama spent over a million dollars to keep pieces of his past hidden... why?

It has been a wet yet much cooler July here in Memphis. Usually it's around 98 degrees with 90 percent humidity which would make the heat index around 110. we didn't see that this year. I guess Al Gore forgot about El Nino.

The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall be a sheep.
He maketh me to shoot doctors for Life.
He leadeth me to talk about tea-bagging.
I sold him my soul.
He leadeth me down the Appalachian Trail for my soulmate’s sake.
Yea, though I face the healthcare reform bill of death, I will hear no facts for talk radio is with me.
The birthers and their lies, they comfort me.
Thou preparest a room for me in the cult house on C Street.
Thou filleth my head with paranoia.
My faux rage runneth over.
Surely self righteousness and homophobia shall follow me all the days of my life and I will wallow in the idiocy of the Hocus Pocus forever.

Current Communist Goals – Look Familiar?

"This information was indeed recorded in Congressional Record in 1963 – in an effort to ensure that our Government would be able to effecting fight against Communism.

It seems they may have used this information as a study guide instead. There is not one item listed that hasn’t or is happening – driven by both Republicans and Democrats.

People – we don’t have a Political Party problem - we have a Government problem."

Well, I've been in Houston for 19 years and this is the hottest, driest summer I can remember. Today, our heat index was 108 today...It's 84° right now and hu-hu-mid. Ouch!

Oddball News: A Touch of Levity

Five brief, semi-interrelated, stories of somewhat odd people who have done or said somewhat odd things.

First, Amy Wolfe, age 33, has been in love since she was 13.

That’s not odd at all, considering the penchant of teenage girls to have crushes. However, the plot thickens.

Amy fell head over heels when she first visited Knoebels Amusement Park in Pennsylvania and has finally decided to tie the knot, although her beloved may or may not be aware of her plans.

You see, the object of her affection is literally an object, more precisely an eighty foot high gondola ride at Knoebels which she has ridden about a thousand times. Called “100 Nachts,” (Nights in German), the gondola attracts Amy “sexually and mentally.”

Amy is afflicted with ”objectum sexuality,” an attraction to inanimate objects, which she would not call an affliction. She says 100 Nachts “is a part of who I am” and admits to sleeping with a picture of the ride on her ceiling and carries a bunch of its spare nuts and bolts with her:

Ms. Wolfe might want to hold off the nuptials pending release of the next oddball from jail.

George Vera, like Amy Wolfe, has a bit of a weight problem which he tried to use to his best advantage.

George, an inmate at Harris County Jail in Houston, serving time for “selling illegal copies of compact discs,” weighs in at about 500 lbs, and apparently wanted a gun for protection or whatever. You know how dangerous prisons can be with all those criminals around.

Inmate Vera was twice searched for contraband after being remanded and the searchers failed to turn up a gun. He then confessed to a guard during a shower at Harris that he was concealing an unloaded 9 mm pistol under his layers of flab.

He was charged with possession of a firearm in a correctional facility and no doubt now will do more time for that crime than he will for the compact discs caper.

Why he fessed up after succeeding in hiding the weapon is unknown. Maybe he just got religion or maybe he is a stupid oddball. Either way, he’d make a better catch for Ms. Wolfe than 100 Nachts. At least he’d be softer hanging above her bed and he comes with his own set of nuts and bolts:

Keith Griffin of Jensen Beach, Florida has one precocious, and horny, or skilled cat.

Keith was innocently downloading some music on his computer one day but had to leave the room for an indeterminate length of time.

That’s when his rascally feline, unbeknownst to Keith, allegedly jumped on his keyboard and “accidentally” downloaded over a thousand child porn images.

Upon his return, . . .

Call me a "birther", if you want,I still want proof that Obama is a "natural born citizen", or at least isn't a usurper; Call me a "teabagger", if you want, I still want the news to report without picking a side; Call me a "astroturf-er", if you want, I still believe American patriots defend and protect the Constitution of the United States of America from all enemies, foreign and domestic, SO HELP THEM GOD; Call me "mob", if you want, I will still gather as many of my like thinking Americans together as I can to stop "taxation without representation"; Call me anything you wish, I believe in the Constitution of the United States of America, and I WILL DEFEND IT WITH MY LIFE FROM ANYONE WHO APPOSES WHAT IS WRITTEN IN IT'S TEXT!

Do you remember the Dick Tracy criminal, "Pockets"? He was a circus fatman who lost a lot of weight, but was left with a lot of loose skin. He added snaps which resulted in his having natural "pockets". He also carried a small gun and ammo in one.

North American Union (NAU) Talks Continue in Secret.

" 'Many SPP (Security and Prosperity Partnership) working group meetings are held in secret, and the public, the press and members of Congress have no opportunity to participate or conduct oversight,' Jones said. 'The SPP also appears to cast aside America's sovereignty and takes another step towards combining the United States, Mexico and Canada into a single EU-style North American super state.' "

FYI, on Sunday, king zero is stuck in the rut at negative 8, at Rasmussen. Congress has a 14% approval rating. Stay tuned Tues/Wed for the generic GOP vs. Dem numbers.

Since we're on the open thread: As you know, McHugh, one of the cap and tr8ers, suffered an obamabotomy, and left us up here unrepresented. A group of 8 shadowy figures decided to put one Dede Scozzafava, a state "GOP" critter, up for the special election on the REP ticket, who knows when. She's a RINO of the worst ilk, against everything we are for. The conservative party is fighting back with some decent candidates. I'm going to do my part with all my power to get a conservative in there. I'll post updates from time to time.

VtK... he was quoted saying that Cuba was the model of healthcare reform for the United States.

I don't know where it was but I saw a documentary a few years back about disease and rat infestation running rampant through Cuban hospitals. Patients were left wallowing in their own filth, on top of the horribly unsanitary conditions of the hospitals.

Yep... just like Commie-fornia is a model state for the rest of America...

Liberalism is proven ,once again, to be a mental disorder, curable only by death...

ATTC, I saw that also, I think it was on NBC, back in the day when the news divisions of the networks actually reported the news. Not try to create the news, or whore themselves out to one political party, and unqualified, inexperienced people.
