Paul Krugman says opponents of ObamaCare are racists. Guess he didn't hear about the Black Guy in St. Louis beaten up by pro-ObamaCare Union Thugs.

Krugman exemplifies the typical out of touch elitist moonbat.

There was a telling incident at a town hall held by Representative Gene Green, D-Tex. An activist turned to his fellow attendees and asked if they “oppose any form of socialized or government-run health care.” Nearly all did. Then Representative Green asked how many of those present were on Medicare. Almost half raised their hands.

Now, people who don’t know that Medicare is a government program probably aren’t reacting to what President Obama is actually proposing.

Krugman misses the obvious: workers who, after decades of heavy taxation which interfered with their ability to save, have no choice but to accept Medicare. That doesn't validate the worth of the program. Medicare enrollees have every right to oppose socialized medicine even if they are dependent on Medicare, as government is responsible for that dependency.

Seniors have every right to be against expanding the same inefficient, bureaucracy-laden program they suffer under to their children and grandchildren.

the stunning thing, to my mind, is how they put forth MediCare and its ilk as some sort of paragon to be aspired to.

Not a single New York representative is on the list of scheduled town halls. Why do they think they can get away with that?

• Last night in Tampa, Florida, a town hall meeting erupted into violence, with the police being called to break up fist fights and shoving matches.1

• A Texas Democrat was shouted down by right-wing hecklers, many of whom admitted they didn't even live in his district.2

• One North Carolina representative announced he wouldn't be holding any town-hall meetings after his office began receiving death threats.3

• And in Maryland, protesters hung a Democratic congressman in effigy to oppose health-care reform.4

We've got a plan to fight back against these radical right-wingers. We've hired skilled grassroots organizers who are working with thousands of local volunteers to show Congress that ordinary Americans continue to support President Obama's agenda for change. Seriously, now, are Americans so oblivious as to what’s going on in our country that they don’t even suspect that we are in process of seeing our most basic rights under our Consititution being trampled by the Democratic Party? Why can’t we see what’s happening at the hands of this radical Democratic regime?

Indeed, thousands nationwide have been registering their dissent at townhall meetings which precisely relates to my point. There should be millions, not thousands massing at every available public venue demanding, not asking for, straight talk from their leaders on this atrocity labelled healthcare change.

Redress grievances? Good grief! We merely want information which they are reluctant to supply in fear that the American sheeple discover the machinations and subterfuges in progress to foist Obamacare on the nation.

It’s almost as if the Obamians have somehow succeeded in slipping mind-numbing drugs into our drinking water! How else to explain the sheepish acquiescence to the abnegation of their God-given and Constitutionally-guaranteed rights?

Time was, way back in 2008, that Americans who cared about our country felt free to, noisily if necessary, voice their opposition to our government infringing on their rights.

This administration, the congress, and the left wing media, acting as Obama’s puppets, have consistently and relentlessly ridiculed and attemped to reduce to nonentities those proponents of the First Amendment.

At his inauguration, President Barack Hussein Obama, who was elected to that highest office in the land and as putative leader of the Free World by virtue of an all but unanimous Black vote, and the obsequious votes of self-hating, Whites acting out of White Guilt, pretended to be the moderate he was painted to be by the mass/liberal media.

For a “legal scholar,” Obama seems to have little familiarity with the First Amendment.

Since his election, Obama and his congressional lackeys have shown their true colors, nowhere more vividly than in their reactions to the righteous protests to this horror of Obamacare.

The healthcare bill, multiple bills, actually, would use taxpayer funding to pay for abortions, transgendered sex changes, and a whole host of other irrelevant-to-healthcare, wasted programs while forcing people into a program that few want.

Mr. Gladney was not at that town hall to protest. He was there merely to make a few extra bucks by selling little flags and other trinkets to the folks attending the meeting. In my mind, that makes his assult all the more vile. He's not an "enemy" of the administration, he's just some poor unemployed man trying to make a few extra dollars so that he can get by in life. Shocking and despicable.
