Obama Shafts Friends in Eastern Europe
There's a price to be paid for turning your back on tyranny in favor of liberty — at least so long as we have a socialist in the White House:
The United States is poised to dump a critical missile-defense agreement with two of its most dependable NATO allies. The Polish daily Gazeta Wyborcza reported yesterday that the Obama administration is going to scrap the "third site" anti-missile system scheduled to be deployed in Poland and the Czech Republic. Missile interceptors in Poland and a radar station in the Czech Republic were scheduled to be deployed by 2013. Now the plan appears to have been shot down.
This move sends the wrong signal to our allies in Eastern Europe. The former Soviet satellites have been among the strongest proponents of a robust U.S. role in Europe because they believed they could count on the United States to defend their interests against perennially predatory Russia. Both countries showed good faith by sending troops to fight in Iraq as part of the multinational force. The Polish and Czech governments acted courageously when they agreed to host the missile-defense system.
Prague and Warsaw knew Moscow would react negatively, but after years of patient diplomacy, they chose to stand with the United States. Canceling the deployment will betray the trust of our allies in Warsaw and Prague, leave Europe defenseless against Iranian missiles, enhance the Kremlin's stature and diminish U.S. credibility. There is no upside. …
Canceling the missile-defense deployments to Poland and the Czech Republic would be another step in America's gradual retreat from global strategic leadership. We are afraid to contemplate how long it will be before the Obama administration's national-security blunders have serious and irreversible consequences.
The only thing that could get Comrade Obama to back up loyal friends like Poland and the Czech Republic would be a communist coup — as was attempted in Honduras with our government's support.
On a tip from Byron.

Why should they trust us when we elect fools like Obama and allow our Constitution's principles to be shredded?

If I were a leader responsible for defending my eastern European country, I would advocate for an independent nuclear deterrent. Same said for Taiwan's leaders. The United States is no longer a safe bet to do the right thing when it comes to supporting democracies.
Heh, it would be kind of funny to see the Russians and the PRC exposed to the threat of their own "export" technology!!!
As for Honduras, I wouldn't blame them one bit for recalling their ambassador and sending ours packing if this stupidity from the Obama administration continues. They might not be able to replace the U.S. funding they're in danger of losing but they'll still have something far more important - their hard earned democracy. They acted constitutionally - to preserve their democracy - no wonder they are so befuddled by our embarrassing response.

This is the sort of thing we should apologize for; cowardice!
Shame on America's cowardly leaders!

I would like to apologize personally to the people of Poland, the Czech Republic, Europe, Honduras, Taiwan, and anyone else seeking freedom, who can no longer count on our help. This embarrasses me to the depth of my being. I know we haven't always been right, but the fools we've elected this time are poison for us and the world. Please forgive us our foolishness and stand by, better things should be coming soon. If not, we may need your help this time.

I hope the Poles, Czechs and Hungarians form a military alliance, because they surely can't depend on us at the moment.

So what kind of deals is obama making with the bear and the dragon?

Obama: Noun, a timid foe, a treacherous friend.
This news is going everywhere. Israel now knows that it can't rely on the USA. Muslim states are grinning. Russia is grinning. Japan is scared stiff.

What Hopey McChange and his Liberal slaves DON'T know:
The most important part of diplomacy is CREDIBILITY. If your leaders or diplomats say that your country will do something, your friends and enemies MUST believe that you WILL do it. It's much easier to hold out the hand of friendship when you are willing to raise a FIST should your hand be slapped away.

Anyone else note that Russia deployed it's own Missile Defense?

The only people in the world that are scared of the Pussy-in-chief are the american people. He acts like an alcoholic father that beats his children. When a real man gets in his face he slithers away, goes home and beats his children some more to prove he is a man.
What do you expect from a man (I use the term loosely) who pee's sitting down. Obozo needs massive amounts of testosterone injections so that maybe he will sprout his first pube.
Geez, this guy(again term used loosely) is a friggin joke.

Since Obama and his entire corrupt administration can not say ever that they made a mistake, and since they owe their existence collectively on blaming Bush and not being Bush, what happens when the BIG MESS arrives? Can it even be imagined what finger pointing is going to go on? It will be an orgy of blame and lies and spin until everybody but the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny are going to be blamed. (Not Santa Claus--I think he's one of 'em).
I think Obama would have a stroke and end up in a ward somewhere drooling on himself and wetting the bed as he is being asked to swallow baby food fed to him by spoon, if he had to actually say, "I was wrong. I made a bad mistake. I am sorry." And not pump in 2,000 words of explanation and reasons why he chose to act as he did because of circumstances, faulty intelligence, and other people's mistakes, etc.

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
It seems Comrade Obama has no intention of living up to his oath when he swore to protect the United States.
He is a traitor. If the American voters don’t remove most of the left wing nut jobs in 2010, then this country will be finished by 2012. We will be just another banana republic.
Spread the word to your acquaintances - get out and vote them out in 2010. Vote for those who are far more in touch with the majority of Americans who understand how dangerous a place the world is, and how much worse off it will be with the US sitting in a corner, sucking our collective thumbs. Make Chairman Zero the lamest of lame ducks. Make him utterly impotent.

For the FIRST time in my life I am ashamed of America's leadership. Theyre have been times when its been bad and wrong things have been done but, it was done by folks who were proud to be Americans. This FOOL, not so much. We will be back. World, Please hold together while we relearn Americanism.
Your call is important, please continue to hold.
