You can count on Los Angeles to start trends that catch on.

Come on, guys! Whoever Photoshoped O'Bama's likeness as The Joker forgot the green hair!

Paging Ceaser Romero (or his make-up artist).

Posted by: GeekNerd at August 3, 2009 11:07 AM

hair looks green to me

Posted by: weewilly at August 3, 2009 11:10 AM

on the time cover ps anyways :P

Posted by: weewilly at August 3, 2009 11:11 AM

The top image uses the original hair from the original image, so I guess blame Warner Brothers?

Photoshop? Who said anything about photoshop?

This is the way the man actually looks without black face makeup. It has been till now a better kept secret than his birth certificate or for that matter his real policy and plans for the nation. I think Michael Jackson had the same disease.

Posted by: SnowSnake at August 3, 2009 11:41 AM

And the same left that thought rape-jokes about Sarah Palin and her kids were no big deal, is having a conniption fit.

Obama is in white face, his mouth (like Ledger's Joker's) has been grotesquely slit wide open and the word "Socialism" appears below his face. The only thing missing is a noose.

Posted by: Gregory of Yardale at August 3, 2009 11:56 AM

Couldn't help but notice as I passed by the newsstand in the grocery store that the Joker in Chief is on the cover of The Economist, Business Week and Time. The Time cover depicts him in a white doctor's "lab coat" with a stethoscope draped around his neck.

A recent cover of National Review was more accurate--a cheesy grinned cariacture of him snapping on a latex glove.

Posted by: Graycat at August 3, 2009 12:17 PM

Conniption fit, indeed. That lefty little wanker struggles to push off his contempt as snark. Then read the comments. Gonna print me some of these. I'm about 5 clicks north of one of Simon's original malls, thinkin it needs some decoration.

Yep, 64 comments, all of them but one rejecting the lefty little wanker.
The one dissenter has the fairy name of Cornelius and he just said "Oh what a bunch of wingnuts. Not everyone should have internet access." Brilliant and incisive.

I'm going to wait to pass judgment on the BC until it's vetted--something I wish the American public had insisted on before they put the Joker in power!

What is amazing about this likeness of the Big O and the joker face is that it sends a clear message that the BushHitler stuff never could convey.

What was done to Bush in this manner largely did not fit his actions or deeds, where as this caracature of the Big O is absolutely aligned with his actions and deeds. Add the words 'Socialism', 'Socialist' or 'Marxist' and the message is complete. No further translation required.

This must be driving the hard left a bit more batty. Can't fight the message of truth.

Why so socialist?

Here are a couple of more pics.

Still waiting for someone to do a Mount Rushmore pic................

Oiao, you're right. It's clearly struck a nerve. The Bushitler thing was risibly immature and facile, and therefore ineffective, whereas this visually and tellingly makes its point, that Obama is a deceiver. And that's gotta hurt.

Posted by: Jay Guevara at August 3, 2009 2:24 PM

Bingo, Jay. Between this and the Gatesgate Beer Summit picture of Obama-as-Aloof-Leader that's getting so much web and airtime, more chinks in the armor appear.

I wonder how long before it gets under Our Dear Leader's skin JUST enough for him to do or say something REALLY damaging.

Posted by: pomalom at August 3, 2009 2:47 PM

Yep, pomalom. I see the Messiah as having a brittle and somewhat rigid personality. He's definitely not a "roll with the punches" guy. Makes you wonder how he's going to react when he starts getting some punches. He's still in the honeymoon period, and his glass jaw is already apparent.

Posted by: J at August 3, 2009 4:24 PM

Oh, Obama is not the Joker! Don't forget. Crazy as he is, the Joker has always been portrayed as intelligent. Obama is neither intelligent nor crazy. He's just incompetent. You want a comic book comparison? Obama's more like Condiment King.

Posted by: SpideyTerry at August 3, 2009 5:17 PM

Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable President Earl Ofari Hutchinson is calling the depiction (Big O Joker Face), politically mean spirited and dangerous.

Huh? Compare and contrast. Though there was no outrage for the below, the double standard of the above applies.

Sattire - have to love it.

I love the smell of liberal fear in the morning. It smells like...loaded diaper.

Posted by: Jay Guevara at August 3, 2009 6:29 PM

The t-shirt should have a circle with a line through it, no socialism for me, thanks.

Hey LAUPRP Earl O-fairy Douchinbag, what is it about the poster that is DANGEROUS?
Get over yourself.

More Obama Joker images here, here, here, here, and here.

The smaller ones might make good stickers...

Posted by: Henry at August 3, 2009 7:15 PM

The image also reminds me of that character out of 'Live and Let Die'

Update on the above reference to a conniption fit (LA Times Blog). Now up to 470 comments. Random sample shows the vast, vast majority telling the leftie wanker to stuff it.

BTW, here is Vanity Fair doing Bush up as the Joker.

obama the liar, remember he was going to bring home the troops, cut lobbist from the staff, not have new taxes, allow congressional bills to be read and discussed before passage, not pass gun laws, golly obama has made Bush´s lies look like white lies. The biggest liar of all presidents in amerika is B.H. Obama ...

Posted by: Dan at August 10, 2009 1:08 PM

I don't understand the comparison. Can someone please explain to me? Aren't people angry at Obama for imposing RULES on wealthy business owners? The Joker says "the only sensible way to live in this world is WITHOUT RULES". I don't see the comparison.
