This is the first step in the uprising that the gentleman at the town hall predicted. The politicians better start listening. We are not going to put up with this much longer.

Using the 10th amendment argument will require action that ends up in the courts. Using Article V, adjudication in the courts will not be necessary and will remind Congress, the President and Supreme Court just who holds ultimate power in this country.

A constitutional convention can amend anything in the Constitution. Term limits, structure of the court, rules of the Congress for its proceedings, it could outlaw earmarks, public ownership of private companies and assert the rights of the states. It can even amend itself to remove congressional privilege of convening such a convention where only the states can do that. Additionally it can be the big gun fired across the bow of those serving in government that we are serious and we have had enough. Thousands of town halls are good but they are attempting to kill the beast by a thousand wounds. One big gun would get the attention of the inept congress, the gangster administration and the legislating courts.
