MSNBC: ObamaCare Opponents Are Holocaust Deniers

Someone had better tuck the propagandists at MSNBC away for naptime before their infantile rhetoric gets any further out of hand. The latest from the fever swamp that spawned Keith Odormann and Tweetie Matthews: opponents of socialized medicine are holocaust deniers and more dangerous than Mad Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Rush Limbaugh and those invoking the Nazi analogy to attack President Barack Obama's effort to reform health care in America are not "insane" as David Brooks pronounced on last Sunday's "Meet the Press." Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin and the rest of the loud-mouthed right wing are, when they even hint at an analogy to the Nazis in talking about Obama's health reform effort, engaged in something far worse than insanity. They are engaged in the vile evil of Holocaust denial.
For some time now, Iran's president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has held the title of the world's most dangerous anti-Semite due to his denial that the Holocaust occurred. Limbaugh and his ilk who have been throwing around references to Adolf Hitler, National socialism and Nazi medicine without hesitation have surpassed the danger posed by the Iranian president.

The author then goes on to yell about how awful the Nazis were. Yeah, we know. That's why we don't want people who share their disregard for the value of human life to seize control of our healthcare system.

Tweety Matthews says protesters are upset because the president is a black. No, tweety, it's because he's a red.

Posted by: Gregory of Yardale at August 12, 2009 7:39 AM

Yeah, THIS is fucking hilarious seeing as how those in strong opposition to the ObamaCare Bill are pointing out "Zeke" Emanuels's and other scientists/doctors who are on record for their euthanasia beliefs and views, and how they are huge influences in this bill's crafting.

Glenn Beck went over the historical facts of euthanasia in Germany and in this country. But when he does it, using facts and history ... Beck's some sort of idiot clown fearmonger.

These MSNBC wonk-shits are not only out of gas, but the fumes have long left them. Their septic tanks are so empty they are rusting under their own failed weight. Look at the damn numbers. NBC/MSNBC is one of the most idioticly run companies/businesses ever.

Where is that in the bill again?

Counseling session to set up living will (which everyone should have) = killing invalids and the elderly like Nazis, only it doesn't.

If you guys have to lie like this, what are you hiding? Why keep lying? Why not argue about the bill and what's in it?

Posted by: brs at August 12, 2009 8:32 AM

The problem with sarcasm, satire, and vicious cutting wit is that it depends on finding something lower than the object and to make surprising and clever remarks that make the comparison so that the audience is drawn to make the leap intellectually and thus the comparison and find a grain of truth. But what happens when the object is already lower than fermented cat shit and road kill combined with the ethics that would make a vulture puke so that no decent cannibal or child molester would want to be associated with the object? What then should one use for the comparison? That is what is wrong with these people. They have gone down about a hundred levels beyond funny.

Van, I have to say if it wasn't for you, MSNBC would have only THREE viewers instead of FOUR

Goatse, Anonypussy and andy.

Let me get this straight. I am un-American according to Pelosi and Hoyer. I am a Nazi according to Pelosi. I am a KKK member according to John Dingell. I am now a holocaust-denier according to this Obama sychophant. Boy am I busy, no wonder I cannot find a job under this wonderful Obama economy.

Arthur Caplan doesn't even make a half-way cogent argument. It's worthy of a D in a high-school essay class. Saved from an F only by spelling the words right.

The comments following the article basically trashed him, sprinkled in with a few Obamabot non-sequitors. "Everything that's wrong with this country is Bush and his father's fault."

But seriousuly comparing Obama to Hitler is a cogent argument?

Good thing no one can really be bothered to pay any attention to MSNBC, and this is why.

Posted by: J at August 12, 2009 9:14 AM

But seriousuly comparing Obama to Hitler is a cogent argument?

Absolutely. The parallels are many for any student of history to see.

Firstly both Hitler and Obama are leftist socialists, who speak of things such as fairness and the snake oil of social justice, while being worshiped by masses of adoring zombies.

Second, both advocated having citizens turn on one another to turn in "fishy" opponents.

Third, Hitler had his own "National Civilian Security Force" just as Obama promises to create.

Fourth, we must not forget the Hitler Youth, which Obama will have his parallel of if his "mandatory volunteerism" program gets started.

Fifth, the Nazi's had their concept of useless eaters, and the current health bill has bizarre Orwellian provisions giving bureaucrats the power to decide who merits care, what kind and how much. The elderly and infirm are mostly left out of this criteria.

Sixth, the Nazi's characterized their political opposition as either terrorists or mentally ill, as Obama's administration did with the DOHS report on "right wing extremists."

Seventh, The Nazis interned people from their enemies list into indoctrination or reeducation camps, in H.R. 1388 (The GIVE Act) there are provisions for the creation of indoctrination camps. In fact the writers understood the similarities of the language so well, that they canged the word camps to campus.

Eight, the leftists, whether Nazi or Democrat, is always zealously concerned with controlling the lives of those around them. The Democrats, like the Nazi's, love regulation and "oversight." I've never heard Nazi's be accused of "deregulation," which is why it's always been so bizarre for the Democrats to have called the Republicans Nazi's for decades, and illustrates the left's general lack of education and understanding of reality.

The parallels are endless really, and I could go on.

Tell you what, if Obama backs off the goon squads, fires the eugenicists from his advisers, stops talking about killing the unproductive, and stops all the cult of personality crap ... we'll stop comparing him to Hitler.

Sound fair?

Posted by: brs at August 12, 2009 9:10 AM

No, Hitler was "Hitler" ...

Obama will establish his own notoriousness in his own name. He's (and his 'czars') just decided he likes a lot of Hitler's style and plan.

It's like anything with the left/libs in this country. Tell them Communism has failed wherever tried around the world and they reply, "Well, enough of it wasn't used ... not enough money poured into it ... and WE can do it better."

Same with Hitler's fascist socialism ... Our current PTB in our government think THEY can do more of it ... and better.

Nothing ... NOTHING this man or his Congressional minions can say from this moment on can save the American public's perception of this obamanation of a bill. No amount of tweeking, amending, or rewriting will either.

BTW, THIS bill is NOT the only one we need to stop. Do NOT forget Cap and Trade is sitting on deck.

Who's the eugenicist advisor?

Posted by: brs at August 12, 2009 12:39 PM

Posted by: brs at August 12, 2009 12:39 PM

Science Czar John Holdren's Eugenicist Idol Harrison Brown

Posted by: SK at August 12, 2009 1:32 PM

So his "idol" is a eugenicist so he must be? This is like saying Einstein believed you could go faster than light because he "idolized" Newton. Science is always changing, and one generation learns from the the last. Eugenics was a dark period in science, and a lot of that generation belived in eugenics- not just Nazis (though that's the whole point of this blog, I know...). Mismeasure of Man by Gould chronicles it pretty well.

Does this mean if a TOE is found I have to distance myself from Feynman for QED?

Find me something that says HOLDREN is a eugenecist. Then we'll talk.

Ignoring the "interpretation" and forming my own thoughts (on the above link)... sure is scary, scary radical thinking.

... and now he's in a position where he can exercise his ideas and put them into motion.

Not saying he will but the possibility is still there.

Posted by: AmericanToTheCore at August 12, 2009 2:37 PM

I don't like to judge from quotes out of context, but it's hard to find context for some of those things. It's nuts. And, if all of that is correct, he did subscribe to at least one eugenics idea: sterilization of undesirables (which doesn't even 'work', but that's just bad science).

I hope to Christ he's reversed himself, but that is cookery.

The idea that he could implement any of it is absurd -his legal reaoning is crazy, assuming he still belives any of htis.

Are you suggestig that the Liberals are full of shit for calling President Bush "Hitler" and conservatives "nazis"?

You better say "yes" you little piece of scum, or your whole argument falls apart.

Posted by: KHarn at August 12, 2009 3:39 PM

The idea that he could implement any of it is absurd -his legal reasoning is crazy, assuming he still belives any of this.

Legal reasoning... you make it sound as though liberals actually act within the law. And that, in itself, is a horribly horribly ignorant statement. Apparently you ignore the fact that liberals repeatedly deem themselves "above the law" and act as they see fit, regardless of laws that restrict their blatantly retarded actions.

Posted by: Anonymous at August 12, 2009 4:28 PM

Liberals hold the 1st amendment sacred, but only for themselves. At the sight of opposition, liberals are the first group to condemn the "outdated" Constitution and say that it isn't relevant in today's society.

It's incredible that they use OUR sacred documents for themselves but get in a tizzy when WE exercise OUR freedoms in opposition to their abuses.
