Justice Department Kills Investigation Into Bill Richardson's Crimes
Not even Comrade Obama had the audacity to add the glaringly corrupt Bill Richardson to the collection of kooks and tax cheats that passes for his cabinet. But his administration is glad to lend a hand to keep the crook out of jail:
New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson and former high-ranking members of his administration won't be criminally charged in a yearlong federal investigation into pay-to-play allegations involving one of the Democratic governor's large political donors, someone familiar with the case said.
The decision not to pursue indictments was made by top Justice Department officials, according to a person familiar with the investigation, who asked not to be identified because federal officials had not disclosed results of the probe.
"It's over. There's nothing. It was killed in Washington," the person told The Associated Press.
Kind of like the investigation into the Black Panther thugs who intimidated voters on Chairman Zero's behalf last November.
A federal grand jury began an investigation in 2008 into a possible pay-to-play scheme in which lucrative work on state bond deals went to a Richardson donor. The federal probe derailed Richardson's appointment as commerce secretary in President Barack Obama's administration.
But you can't expect the Justice Department to investigate crooked governors when it has its hands full persecuting CIA agents for defending us from terrorists.

On a tip from Conan.

"the most transparent administration ever" keeps getting better and better.... The transparency is that they are more corrupt, divisive, & partisan than any administration before it..... Thanks Barry.

It was bad when Dems declared Bush the worst President ever. It was worse when we realized they were jealous about it.

Bill would give president emergency control of Internet
by Declan McCullagh Font size Print E-mail Share 19 comments Yahoo! BuzzInternet companies and civil liberties groups were alarmed this spring when a U.S. Senate bill proposed handing the White House the power to disconnect private-sector computers from the Internet.
They're not much happier about a revised version that aides to Sen. Jay Rockefeller, a West Virginia Democrat, have spent months drafting behind closed doors. CNET News has obtained a copy of the 55-page draft (excerpt), which still appears to permit the president to seize temporary control of private-sector networks during a so-called cybersecurity emergency.

All of the sudden, top Justice Department officials decide that they are not going to purse the indictments. To quote a Justice Department official, "It was killed in Washington."
This, my friends, is change you can believe in.

Not said, he's innocent.. Just, "it was killed in Washington". Nice, Black Panthers with nightsticks at polling places? Nothing to see, move along. Killed in Washington. Communists as jobs czars? Nothing to see, move along. The direct descendant of the SDS writing the Stimulus Bill? Nothing to see, move along. Blowing smoke, especially from a cigar, in a terrorist's face? Firing a gun in an adjoining room? OH MY GOD!!!!! Indict them immediately!!!! Appoint a bunch of special prosecutors, get everyone of those bastards. We can't have interrogators smoking, or actually making those wonderful Muslims talk to us.

There ya go cracka...this...is what Social Justice looks like. Us minorities got to stick together, cuz a "white man's greed drives a world in need".
/sarc/
Never forget who said that. Never forget who placed those words in a book for posterity, to be remembered by. Also, remember his speech on "just words" and what he meant by it. He meant that what people say and believe aren't "just words" their deeply held beliefs with a firm commitment to realize what they mean.

richardson's *clean*, we tell you! as clean as ted kennedy, as clean even as our dear leader obama! besides, we can't spare any investigators to harass a fine upstanding democrat like richardson when we're all so busy working to crucify the CIA.
nothing to see here, proles. now move along, or we'll prosecute **you**.
PS - we're gonna need a larger budget next year. sorry. "crime never sleeps!", you know. and snitch websites are very expensive to maintain.

The look on Obamas face is very telling. If I had to provide a caption it would be "I'd hit that". Disturbing and wrong on soooooo many levels.
